It took a week and a few days for the lawyers to return my phone call. After I called again for follow up, I had to leave a voicemail and was told my phone call would be returned by the end of the day. It's now been two business days and it's not returned. I will call again and conduct my own follow up with the agency as they seem incapable of merely returning phone calls.

Joshua J. Capp | Attorney…read more Long story short, after 15 months of made-up (false) noise complaints by my homophobic neighbor I pushed on Principle Property management (PPM) to deal with the issue. In doing so PPM issued a 24 hr eviction notice to me. I sought help and found Mr. Capp. He made time to see me right away. He reviewed the details and gave me clear concise information on how the legal process works in landlord/tenant matters. With that first visit, we made a quick strategy. Mr. Capp continued to provide his counsel and advice with leaving me to make the right decisions for myself. He provided very clear and heart-dropping details on the risks I faced with each stage of the process. He communicated with me every step of the way, and I felt well informed about what was going on. I appreciated that Mr. Capp would listen to the thoughts and feelings I was expressing with excited Italian hand gestures. He demonstrated the human side of the law in regards to my fears and anger with understanding and yet with a professional drive to represent this matter to the fullest. Joshua understood trial was costly and risky, even though I was ready to "Dam the Torpedoes" in this matter he sought a reasonable solution out of court (redirecting my anger). While I did not get what I WANTED out of this matter, he helped get me what I needed to be in control of my own destiny. I highly recommend Joshua Capp for the legal needs you may have that he covers. Mine was a landlord/tenant matter. --Thank you to all the staff as well, always with a smile and kind words.

I haven't had the pleasure of working with the firm Kernutt Stokes, but I did call to inquire about their services and had a great 40 minute conversation with Mr. Hoyt, who is a partner at the firm. To make a long story short, I ultimately learned that Kernutt Stokes is probably better suited for larger or more advanced companies than for providing the services such a simple business as mine requires at this time. Even though they would gladly work with me, I was gently advised that I could possibly find someone more tailored to the more simple needs of my fledgling business. I greatly enjoyed speaking with Jeff and really appreciate the friendly, genuine, and honest discussion he had with me, especially for such a long time. Should my business grow to the point that their services are more warranted, I will definitely be doing business with them!
