Marty installed 2 ceiling fans (to include all wiring & switches) in our newly remodeled basement without any additional construction costs. Marty also installed 1 outlet in the basement and added another outlet to the outside of our garage at a better than fair market price. I called for an appointment and waited one week. The day of the appointment I called to get a…read morewindow of time when the electrician would be coming to complete the requested work. None could be given except that I would receive a call thirty minutes prior to the arrival. At 2:30 in the afternoon the call finally happened and he said he'd be here in 20 minutes. The technician arrived and within 15 minutes I was told that he'd have to run diagnostic testing. I had to sign off off on the paperwork charging me over $300 or I could pay the $75 trip charge and nothing would be completed. Of course after waiting a week and most of the day I signed the contract. 15 minutes later the problem was identified and fixed, a ridiculous amount of money was charged. I do not recommend this company!!! Although the work was completed within 35 minutes start to finish, the amount of money spent was way over the top! I'm more than sure another company could have done just as good a job, given me a time frame when they would arrive and charged me less than half of what I was charged. Shame on Current Electric.
