I am now just starting to get severe dry eye that is helped by nothing and have been diagnosed with neurotropic carititis which is a secondary condition of lasik. I'm so depressed about it that I'm not even eating because I'm dreading what the future still holds. These places just want your money without informing you of future risks. I wish I had looked at the cons instead of just the pros when I decided to get it done. My eye doctor now said that since I already had dry eye before the lasik that he would not have recommended it because it would only make it worse, and it really did. Lasik is just terrible in general and I am now regretting ever getting it done because you never know how your eyes will react to it. So just don't.

I had awful pain in my eye. They squeezed me in as it was an emergency I felt like my eye was rolling around with sand in my socket. Long story short after antibiotics and a follow up appointment. Tasks that could likely be handled by one person are split between multiple staff members, creating unnecessary delays. I understand this is the only retina specialty practice in the area, and that may explain the large patient volume. While some staff members were courteous, the long wait times and inefficient process overshadowed the overall experience.

Also its my understanding that they are one of the few if any specialists in the El Paso, Las Cruces area. They are busy and sometimes front desk or intake nurse leave a little to be desired but all things considered this is one first class operation with Dr. Kasuga and his staff.
