I'm glad my friend referred me here and got to experience my first try at contacts. Lol. The staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. They never rushed me nor tried to advertise any products. They only asked what I wanted and gave advice.
I called in and they made an appointment for me. I had to get an eye exam that was recent (at least 60 days) in order for me to proceed with contacts. The exam went smooth and quick. The only thing was the wait was pretty long. The reason being they had a few people that had appointments too, so it overlapped. My eyes were dilated and the person next to me went before me to get their eyes checked. Thr doctor apologized, but I didn't mind cause I was in no rush and everything was blurry. Haha. Anyways, my exam cost only $65 due to being military affiliated.
They gave me a set of trial contacts and let me watch a video on how to perform proper use of contacts. My first attempt of it was horrible lol. But the doctor was patient and made me as comfortable as possible. Afterwards, they scheduled me a follow up in 2 weeks.
Soooo after a few days, I lost my contacts. Lol. Such a newbie move. My contacts popped out and I couldn't find them. Anyways, I called in and they said it was fine and they told me to come by on the same day I lost them to get a replacement. Didn't cost anything too.
Follow exam: went even quicker and they told me to go next door (or call their 1-800 #) and order my contacts. Woop woop. By the way, if your order your first time contacts you get glasses for 50% off. Score! I do recommend this establishment, just bring someone with you when your eyes are dilated and a pair of sunglasses. They provide generic sunglasses, but I got funny looks. I looked like the terminator lol. read more
