Used to come here back when I used to live at Avalon at San Fernando. They worked on my typical general dentistry. Annual appointment and cleanings etc. Unfortunately I live in Orange County now, but if I ever move back I'd make this my go to place. To start, they have really nice people at this location. Great service and a good level of understanding. They kept everything very simple throughout the whole process whenever I would come here. I've seen some of their cosmetic dentistry work too and they do a really great job at that as well. It's also very conveniently located right next to the mall. So I typically stop by the Burbank town center. They got a great spot, as well as a great surround area. If you're looking for a place to get your dentist work done I'd recommend this place! I hate leaving bad reviews for any business but I feel that this is absolutely necessary. I was told by Ara that I have over 15 teeth to be filled. He didn't go into detail, didn't explain anything to me and started scheduling my appointments without any discussion. Me trusting him as a professional, I went to my appointments until the third or fourth visit the office staff noted that I have a balance due after I received service. You don't tell a patient they have a balance due out of pocket after they received services. That really upset me. I asked staff to check with Ara to see what I absolutely need to get done since at this point I was going to pay out of pocket. They came back with he says, "you need them all done." So I started to question the honestly and transparency. I went to two different Dentists for a second opinion and each noted that they don't see any cavities that need to be addressed immediately and definitely not as many as he noted. I was shocked, I couldn't believe his dishonesty. It's disgusting to see healthcare professionals that patients trust to be this shady. Which is why I refuse to refer to Ara as a "Doctor". I really wish I had it in me to take legal action but the least i can do is let others know about my experience. Save yourself and don't ever go here. read more

I've always hated dentists. Stemmed from many horrible experiences from the past. That fear is now gone. These guys are professional, friendly and efficient. Extremely satisfied and my irrational fear has now disappeared. I wish I knew about these guys earlier. It was time to change dentists (long story), but I'm so glad I found this office, where Arthur Gulesserian, DDS, does business. The state-of-the art operation is impressive, including the digital x-rays, with their instantaneous projection onto the computer monitor. For nervous patients like me, Dr. G. is gentle and compassionate, but he is honest about work that needs to be done (those color photos exam chair-side don't lie!). There is a full complement of office staff, who greet patients like they're visiting dignitaries. It's best to get there early in the morning, however, because parking in the lot is a wee bit scarce. read more

Dr Ara is the best dentist I ever had. Last Christmas I was dying of a tooth pain and tried to get in contact with any dentist that would see me ASAP. But as expected no one was available so my friend recommended me Dr Ara. He called me and scheduled a appointment the next morning and removed my molar that was very damaged. Witch was so kind because I figured he would be with his family. But anyway... Since then I been coming here regularly to make sure my teeth are good. He is such a caring person that makes sure you are comfortable with every procedure. The staff are really nice girls and they always call you to remind you of your appointment. Dr. Ara is the best!!! I have been to several dentists over the years and they were not trustworthy let alone very gentle. Sorry but I'm sensitive with my teeth and I tend to take care of them so when dentists come up to me saying I have poor teeth, it throws up a red flag; not over here. I was referred by one of my supervisors to come in and see Dr. Ara. Right away the staff dental assistants and most of all Dr. Ara were all helpful, welcoming and most of all reassuring that I was in good hands. Looking back I'm so glad I received this referral and go to this dental office for all my work. I even referred my parents, and they have the worst case scenario for teeth. This past year I have had wisdom teeth pulled, cleanings, fills, and even a root canal and all taken care of right away and followed up if needed. If there is ever a concern or discrepancy (usually never) they are more than willing to assist me. Dr Gulesserian has done several procedures for me and each time it has been better then the next. Unfortunately, he was sick in bed this time that I had broken a tooth. The office scheduled me to see Dr Toomanian instead. I was incredibly satisfied and impressed by the work Ani Toomanian did. I thought she was going to have to pull my tooth as the prior fillings had really thinned out the walls of the tooth, but she was able to replace and upgrade the fillings so that I can keep my tooth. I love this place... I've been going to Provident Dental for years for regular cleanings and cavities. I've been wanting to do Invisalign but was a little hesitant and considered going to an orthodontist instead. But after talking to Dr. Ara about it, I felt comfortable that he's an expert at that too. I'm so happy I did it! The office is very professional and timely. Most importantly, they were very flexible with my timing. I work in Brentwood so I'm not the easiest scheduling patient, but Dr. Ara went out of his way many times to take me at times that worked. Dr. Ara is by far the best dentist! I LOVE the whole staff there! He has been my dentist for about 10 years now. Growing up, I had many, many teeth problems. Had many different dentist too. It seemed like the more I went to the dentist the more problems I was having. I kinda think a lot of dentist are the cause of many problems in your mouth. After Dr. Ara became my DDS I completely stopped having all major teeth problems. Actually, I've had no problems at all. Of course, I spent the first two years seeing him regularly because he had to fix and redo my whole mouth. I even had an implant done. I love Dr. Ara!! His wife works the front office and she is really awesome too. He is also so freakin hilarious, as well as very honest. I look forward to many more years of being his patient. Dr. G and his associates gave me a chance to keep my teeth. I had gone to no less than 8 dentists here in the S.F. Valley and all of them did the very least on teeth and then when the teeth failed they would charge me crazy prices to cap them. Dr. G. replaced all of the metal fillings (yes the previous dentists left them) and gave a great starting point to maintaining the health in my mouth. I don't recommend this office. Busy, careless, assembly-line operation. I asked a wisdom teeth removal, got a quick response and an appointment. The office was clean and organized. The doctor saw me with giving a surgery to another patient. Literally I was guided by an assistant to a room where a surgery was going on. The doctor briefly saw my previously taken X-Ray and told me the price of my surgery. I asked him for more careful review, but he only repeated that he had given uncountable surgeries. The price was very cheap compared to the other nearby offices. They charged me $75 for the 20-seconds appointment. Days later, I asked the office to schedule a surgery. They dropped the call without an explanation with something going on behind. Minutes later, I called them again only to hear back that they would call me back soon. Got none for three days. Do I call them again? No, I will write this review instead, to prevent it from happening to the others. In the end, I've paid $75 and wasted some days to schedule with another office. I might have hit a wrong time, but it could be their daily situation. read more
