This has been one of the best places that I've ever had any type of electronic installed....the service they provide completely blew away my all expectations, Jeff was very informative and really went the extra mile to make sure my car was taken care of. I went in to install a Pioneer AVIC F700 they made sure that everything was perfect!!!! I have already recommended this place to several friends, and will gladly do so in the future....for anyone who is reading this review, just know that Pro Tint is one of the best places when it comes to professional window tinting and overall, any type of automotive need. Jeff (the owner) and his staff are the coolest people I've ever met...they are there for you!!!! Think twice before going somewhere else, Pro Tint is always the BEST!!!!!! read more

Two weeks ago I paid a visit to Pro Tint to have my new Acura rsx tinted. Several friends of mine highly recommended that I go there. Initially, I spoke with Jeff and he set me up with an appointment. He was very informative, courteous and patient with me. When I arrived there Chris helped me choose the shade for my car. I really liked the positive atmosphere while I was there. It took about an hour and half and I got an extra 10% off through the internet special! I highly recommend the 3M tint. It seems like the better product. Thanks to Jeff and his team at Pro Tint for a fantastic job. You guys are the best! read more

I honestly should've listened to the bad reviews because they are correct. Horrible service and tardiness. I went a few months ago and didn't get service. Will never return again. read more

Great service. Great price. Great guys. I've had two vehicles tinted here with no regrets. They certainly put the "Pro" in Pro Tint. Period.

Came here to get all my windows tinted, including windshield, with 3M color stable and crystalline. So far so good! Jeff, the owner, even stuck around to help out with detailed questions, and I could really tell he takes his customers very seriously (which is hard to find shop owners like this, these days). Thanks, Jeff! read more

I was here today to get some tint for my car. They really go out of their way to earn your business, and make sure you get taken care of I didn't have an appointment but I was taken care of right away. I would not hesitate to recommend this place again to others. read more

been here with all of my cars. great customer service and quality tints

I waited longer than expected, but the job looks great! I would recommend. I got the 3M Color Stable.

Came here to see if they were able to help put on after market hood latches for a carbon fiber hood. Jeff and Jose took the time to assess the possibility and gave realistic and honest feedback. They took the time to plan and explain everything. The price they charged was more than fair. The hood came out unscathed and the actual installation of the hood latches were immaculate. Hood latches are extremely difficult to install as it requires to cut out two ovals on the hood. Furthermore, even if its a mm off, the latches won't sit or close right. Jose did an amazing job measuring and cutting. Don't forget, he cut through carbon fiber which splinters really easily. Again, great work, service, and communication throughout. They deserve the 5 stars. read more

Well first of all this place is awesome one of the best places to get your tint done! I've been going to 1 in Alhambra for years and ever since my uncle recommend this place I was impressed! Didn't know there were so many options for a tint and what kind of quality of tint there was. Brought my brand New Acura ILX 2017 here and had my eveything tinted perfectly, also added some upgraded new LED lights in side custome. It wasn't simple by just changing the bulb they rewired my connection to make sure I had the best brightness in my car. Now let's get to the people that help me out. Jeff the owner who my uncle recommended me to talk to totaly helped me out and made sure everything that I was getting done was perfect he recheck the job once they finished and he brought me over to make sure I was satisfied! Great customer service!! Now Jose the guy who actually worked on my car was awesome he made sure my led lights inside worked perfectly, there was a minor hick up in the lighting but that would be expected when ur getting a customer rewire job on led lights in side no biggy he had to re inspect the wiring which took a few more hours and WOW eveything was perfect! I am glad I went here n now forever loyal customer. thanks again Jeff and Jose for the great work you did read more

I've been coming to Protint since before I could drive I found this place while eating at the hat across the street and talked my parents into get their cars tinted here. That was back in early 2002! Jeff has always been polite, honest and has very good pricing. I've probably taken about 4 personal cars to Jeff for various things from tint to head units to HIDs and even a few alarm systems. About 6 of my friends have used Protint with ZERO issues! I screwed up and went with the cheaper route on my current car and I went to california tint a few blocks down...boy was that ever a mistake. The tint on my dad's accord is over 10 years old and has zero bubbles or fading. The 2.5 year old tint on my car (done at california tint) has more bubbles than I can count, and it is almost purple...ruins the entire look of the car. I'm going to have to get Jeff to retint the entire car. Any who if you want a shop that has great pricing, installers who actually care about your car, and some one who will treat you like a friend instead of a cash cow. These guys are fast and friendly! Not only that they pay a lot of attention to details! I drove past Protint all the time ever since I was a kid! I just never noticed what this gem of a shop did! The days are getting hotter and so I yelped around and found this place local and close to my house! On my day off on Saturday I decided to come in and check out the tints available, where I was greeted by Emmanuel. I did my thorough research of tints and I can attest to the fact that protint only carries top of the line tint. Emmanuel proceeded to schedule me for the following Saturday since it was completely booked since 2 weeks ago! As I was looking to cut out the heat of the upcoming summer sun he showed me the two highest rated tints in the industry right now and even let me sit in a sample car with the Crystalline 40 on the windows and Crystalline 70 on the windshield. It looked very clean and I could not feel any heat beaming through the windows. The windshield almost looked like there was no tint at all! I decided on getting crystalline on my whole car and Emmanuel even took the time to figure out and promise that my price was the lowest around town. Come following Saturday I drop my car off at 10 am at my appointed time and I went to grab breakfast across the street at the Hat. When I came back 2 hours later, everything was done and it looked PERFECT! No spots, no bubbles! Emmanuel went ahead to show me the 3M logos on the tint before he proceeded to clean them off for me and informed me of all the instructions on taking care of the tint before he sent me on my merry way. You can be sure I will be bringing all my friends and family! Everything was quick and painless and I felt the utmost service. I haven't posted a review yet but the service was so amazing here that I broke out of my writers block and wanted to leave a well deserved review. read more

So I've been searching for a place to tint my windshield visor on my mustang. I've called a few different places for different estimates, but what stood apart from everyone else at Pro Tint was their over the TOP customer service. Not only did they schedule me in quickly but they completed the job in under 20 minutes. The owner is amazing goes above and far beyond to ensure the satisfaction of all his customers to their likings. They are very informative and give great break downs of all work being done. Like mentioned before their Customer Service is Top Notch A++! The great customer service in it's self makes you want to work with these guys! The inside of their show room is great informative fancy high end and very very comfortable. Never have felt more at home at an auto shop! I Would Highly Recommend bringing your vehicle here for any of your auto needs! They always make sure to go above and beyond and not only meet but surpass your expectations! Thank you Pro Tint! I brought my 2014 C250 Mercedes for a tint. I've never gotten a tint before so I had no idea what to expect. I requested a quote and the owner, Jeff gave me a list of suggestions. I made an appointment and when I showed up, Jeff discussed the differences of the 2 tint types I narrowed my choice down to. I ended up with 3M color stable on the back windows and solar gard ceramic on the front windows. He was very charismatic and straightforward . He made me coffee and we chatted until more customers came in. Jeff also is a very honest guy, I overheard him talking about a product to another customer. When the customer asked if he carried this, Jeff honestly told him this would be cheaper online. Overall, Jeff is a honest business owner who treats you like a friend. Thanks Jeff! read more

Great service and is much cheaper than g5 tint. Jeff was up front with me about the prices and the different quality of each film. He even told me to go research the different types and took the time to explain everything to me. Also he gave me a lifetime warranty which means I don't need to spend extra money later on. Overall great service and it was cheap. read more

Product review: Pro Tint installed 3M Crystalline films on my 2014 Civic three months ago. So far the tints showed no problem at all; there was no formation of air between the tint and windshield. Because of the high heat resistance of the films, I no longer feel the burning sensation when driving under the sun. Air conditioner became much more effective because of this insulation. The tints also reduced glare from the sun during the day and headlights during the night, which also reduced the strain on my eyes during driving. Their prices were also the cheapest around the area. Pro Tint also installed a set of HID lights on my car, and they work perfectly. I was initially skeptical on the quality of the lights and whether they would die out soon, but Victor assured me they are not low quality products and offered assistance if they do break. Although the labor for HID installation was a little expensive, they definitely deserved it. Workmanship and customer relation: Jeff (manager) and Victor are very professional; they are very polite and are willing to understand and help you. I did not know the person who tinted my car, but I know that he did a great job. There was an issue with the tint, where the rubber squeegee was worn out and scratched at several places. They were honest and up front about it and offered to either give me a discount or redo the tint. The person who tinted my car also made a 3 inch scratch on my steering wheel (presumably with his squeegee too) but Jeff offered me free repair if I deem it to be necessary. Pro Tint is a responsible shop and they earned my trust and respect with their sincerity, honesty and professionalism. Conclusion: Overall, Pro Tint made my driving experience more pleasant with their tints and HID kits. They have earned my respect and trust, and in return, I am going back for a front tint strip. read more

i have taken all my cars here and always a great job . i would recommend them any time

Okay, I don't review places usually, but this particular place gave me such an excellent experience that I just HAD TO to write a review. First off I have no idea how to tint car windows and I have never gotten any of my cars tinted by anywhere, so basically I'm a noob to this whole thing. I called a couple of places before I decided to come here and they were extremely professional when I initially called and talked to them. Gabby/Gabbie was the person I had spoken to and she had quoted me at $256 for all of my windows except for the front windshield. When I got to the store I spoke to Steven at the front area and I wasn't sure what darkness to get, but he calmed my nerves about the tough decision by showing me his personal vehicle that had certain shades of the tint I was buying. He was very informative, friendly, and didn't hesitate to ask me questions about what I wanted! I was never put into a position where I felt like he was trying to "upsale" me at all, which really was a plus for me. I honestly thought the prices were a little higher than what I wanted to pay at first, but you pay for what you get right? That's exactly what this shop delivered! Not only did I get a discounted price, but they also were very informative and friendly! Every question I asked was answered and if one person didn't know, sure enough they very promptly asked someone else and got back to me. At the end of the day (two hours later) I saw my tinted vehicle and it looked gorgeous! Lifetime warranty (of the car) on the rear side of the vehicle also! Bottom line is, this place is amazing, the staff was super friendly (INCLUDING THE TECHS THAT WERE WORKING ON THE VEHICLES), and I will definitely be back for any of my tint or aftermarket stereo needs. Jeff was also a very friendly person and was willing to have a conversation with me even though the shop was closing. Just to throw it in there, I am a mechanic and I know how shop business works. It's really hard to find good shops that are trustworthy when it comes to anything automotive and hands down I would trust this shop like I said for any of my aftermarket needs. read more

Me and my boyfriend been here twice for tinting his car with 3M crystalline. Appointments are necessary for Saturdays. Suggest calling them at least a few days in advance. On our appointment, they showed us different shades of tint and they also have a model which demonstrates their heat rejection. I must say 3M crystalline rejects so much heat when compared to other brands and with the basics 3M tints, which is simply amazing. The owner is really friendly and gave us his advice and I felt that he really put his customer's satisfaction first. We were told we can come back in a few hours to get our car back. Once we left, I realize I left my cell in the store , I immediately called them, Gaby was so nice and helpful, she found my phone in our car's back seats ... Anyways, my boyfriend is really satisfy with the tints and could really feel the difference after having them. So much cooler! Would definitely recommend! read more

This place did an awesome tint on my 2016 Honda Civic. It's a little higher than most places but it's 3m (better quality than most places). But, at the lowest price than other stores! I want to thank Miguel for the nice service or the time to show me around the 3m tints. read more

I actually called California Tint first before I called Pro Tint for a quote to remove and retint my car's back windshield. When I called California Tint, they gave me a price and told me they don't accept weekend appointments and I have to leave my car overnight plus I can only drop it off over on certain days. I thought to myself I only need to remove and retint 1 window, not like I need some sophisticated services to my car. It didn't sound like they wanted my business. Anyways, I decided to call some other place and found Pro Tint. I spoke to Emanuel and he was very friendly and helpful. He took the time to explain to me the price range of the removal (depending on the difficulty) and quality of the tint. Best of all, they're willing to take weekend appointments. Although their price is a little more than California Tint, but I think it's worth it for their quick friendly service and my convenience. It took them about an hour and a half to finish my car versus leave my car overnight. I highly recommend Pro Tint! read more

This place is a wonderful place t go to if you need anything for your car. The owner Jeff made my friend and I very welcome. He gave us deep details in what we are charging for and what the goods and bad of the quality were getting. He gave us discounts for the both of us, which is great. We got tints at his store and it came out great for both cars, the Mr2 and a Camry 04. I also got a smaller version of my alarm which Jeff offer me and he gave a great deal on that. Last of all I also got a muffler and he also gave me a great deal on that too. I would definitely come back to Jeff store if i need anything for my car. He is such a great owner. The first time I met him, it seem like I know this guy for years. Jeff employees were great too. They did a great job too. Everytime I want to get car window tints, I went to Pro Tint. First of my cars was an Audi A4 in 2002 that they did windows tints. Fabalous works. Customer service was excellent and General Manager Jeff helped me out a lot by explaning differences between different tints. He was patient. I was so satisfied with their work after few years. I took my brother's Camry in for tints in about 2004. I recommended to my cousin on his Accord, my friend's BMW X5. All my friends were happy with the services and works. I took my wife's Mazda in for window tinting on 2007. Then I took my dad's new Civic in and two of my friends BWM 328 for windows tint in 2008 for the 3M carbon film because Jeff said it would not intervene with AM reception. I was glad I took his advice. Last week, I bought a Lexus ES330 and first thing i wanna do is get windows tinted by Pro Tint. I went in today 6/8/10, Jeff explained to me in details about shade and type of films. I went with the 3M film to avoid bad AM reception. Jeff was patient still and price was awesome. This weekend, I will take my Lexus to have Parrot bluetooth phone and Ipod music kit installed by them. Cannot wait! Updated 6/24/10: I got my parrot mki9200 installed by Pro Tint the following weekend. This product is awesome. I can now talk hand free with my car speaker, and it has ipod connection and play musics from sd card and usb drive. Pro Tint installed it so clean and professionally. so far i have not have any problem. A+ work! read more

I recently had an Alpine audio system installed in my 1967 Mustang, and my overall experience at Pro-Tint, from beginning to end, was outstanding!! Victor was my audio system installer, and I can easily say without any reservation that Victor is the best audio installer I have ever had. He is extremely knowledgeable about the Alpine product, and will make every effort not only to do an excellent job installing the system components, but to follow up and tune the system to get the best performance out of it. The Alpine systems have elaborate 'equalizer' interfaces to adjust sound quality over controllable frequency ranges. Victor took the extra time to listen carefully to my sample CDs and tune the system so that it was acoustically optimized for my vehicle. I can't begin to describe how lucky I feel that I found Victor to install my audio system. He was not only extremely knowledgeable about the installation, but be also was very patient and understanding in working with me to tune the system so that its performance was optimal. Victor is very personable, and I now consider him my friend as well as my installer. Jeff and his wife Gabby run the shop. Their philosophy is to achieve 100% customer satisfaction without exception. Their definition of customer satisfaction includes providing low, competitive costs combined with expert installation and servicing of the product. I was also impressed that Jeff was very sharing of his knowledge of the products, and I could see that it was important to him that his customers were well-informed in order to make the best buying decisions. I can say with confidence that they earned A++ ratings in all areas of customer satisfaction. Vivian works in the shop, and she is very helpful and friendly in coordinating customer service appointments, giving advice, and helping with product comparisons, making the time pass easily while waiting for installation and servicing work to be completed. If you are looking for a professional installation of a quality audio system for the right price and with excellent customer service, Pro-Tint is unbeatable!! read more

Very good customer service I have known Jeff since 1993 and still have returned to his shop once again for a new stereo

Pro Tint responded to my request for a quote promptly and after hours. I made an inquiry on Friday at 7:00 p.m. and was able to book an appointment by 8:00 p.m. Most other quotes I received were just a single number with a vague reference to the brand of tint they were using. Not Pro Tint. I received a very detailed quote based upon "good to best" film quality which outlined everything including price. I went in the next morning and they went over the available options and answered all of my questions. My car was in at 9:00 and was done by 11:00 (about 2 hours before the estimated time). When I first arrived, there was a customer ahead of me that had an issue that was not due to Pro Tint's error. Nevertheless, Pro Tint fixed the issue at no charge and worked with the customer to make sure he was satisfied (going above and beyond for the guy). They seem to be really focused on customer service and that's rare these days. I even decided to purchase a camera system. Its important to point out they do more than just tint. They also do audio installations, alarms, paint protection, etc. If you are thinking about any upgrades, give them a call first. They stand behind their work. read more

I took my 2011 Jetta to Pro Tint a few weeks ago, but waited until now to write this so I had time to check and live with the results for a bit. I was specifically looking for the 3M tint and my local shop quoted me $350 which seemed a bit steep. After canvassing a few reviews on forums someone recommended Pro Tint with a much better price $240. I read a lot of the reviews on Yelp but they didn't put me off. I left the car with them for a few hours and went up to the near by LA County Arboretum and they called me once done. I'm really impressed with the results. They did a really neat job- no bubbling. They told me that it might look cloudy for a few days until it dried but it looked great from the start. The film makes a huge difference to the comfort of my car which was my primary reason for getting it, but now it looks cool too. Thanks Pro Tint! read more

I have lived in temple city my entire life and always saw this pro tint shop. I've heard many great stories of this place, but never really acknowledged them. When I bought my 04 honda accord it didn't have an aux plug in. So of course a 17 year old would want to play his own music instead of listening to the radio. So I decided to check this place out. Jeff hooked me up with a great Bluetooth system. Jeff is beyond one of the nicest guys I have ever met. He gave me a great deal and now I don't even have to plug in an aux cord every time I enter my car. I just press play on my phone and there it is. It has an amazing sound that is so clear and perfect. I can even answer calls with just a click of a button while driving without even having to look at my phone. I will definitely be coming back to this place. I've already recommended so many people here. Thanks Jeff and pro tint for hooking my car up with this amazing deal! read more
