Professional Work + Excellent Service + Reasonable Price = Wonderful Experience. I knew exactly what I wanted for my 2014 535i (ceramic all around & 3M Crystalline on the windshield plus headlight protection film), so it came down to price and reputation (I was targeting places with lots of 4/5 star reviews on Yelp). Stopped by 1 day, told Jeff what I needed. Liked the price I was quoted and set up an appointment for the following week. Was in and out under the time frame I was told. I am very picky when it comes to my tints and spent 15 minutes meticulously looking at every window before I left. Flawless! Totally exceeded my expectations. The 3M Crystalline on the windshield, by the way, makes a huge difference. Going to set up appointment to get Crystalline on my other car's windshield! Unbelievable, but Yelp actually comes through every now and then! This one was a total hit. read more

I have had all of my vehicles tinted at Pro Tint since they opened in 1989 and they have never let me down. The fit and finish was always professionally executed at a very competitive price. The staff are friendly and very knowledgable. read more

I wanted to get a tinting for my car, but was unsure about details. Jeff was more than courteous enough to demonstrate the different options and offered a more than reasonable price for the job compared to local competitors. Overall, a friendly and professional atmosphere that I would gladly recommend to others in the future. read more

So i came in on a Saturday to protint since its my only day off. Much to my dismay i was informed that Saturdays' are the most busy days and that it would be nigh near impossible to get my car in. I was disappointed but Emmanuel informed me that he would still help educate me and show me the different tints available in the industry. I asked about the pros and cons of each tint and what technologies were involved in the creation of each tint and he was able to answer of my questions. Coming from a technical background i needed to know all the specs and details of the tints and their applications to my mazda 3. His knowledge blew me away. I finally settled on the absolute best tint in the industry the 3m crystalline for my windshield and the rest of my car and he was able to confirm for me that i was getting the best price all around. He scheduled me for wednesday but later on in the day a spot opened up and emmanuel called me back right away and set me right up. I was in and out in two hours flat. Settling on the cr70 for my windshield and the cr40 for the rest of my car i was able to feel the difference right away. When it took half an hour for my a/c on full blast to cool down the car (black interior and exterior) before now it only took a matter of two minutes. I am so glad i came to protint and paid for the premium film that emmanuel took the time to demo for me. Come to protint and you will leave with a smile from ear to ear. read more

After calling around and looking for a tint for a good price i decided to come to protint. After doing some research Emmanuel explained to me that even their entry level tint is still a high quality tint with a lifetime warranty. There is still a heat rejection factor of up to 55% and all of this cost me under $200 dollars!! Wow what a deal! Now I know some of you out there will say well I found a cheaper price elsewhere but what sold me was that Emmanuel was able to back up his claims with real proof and also offered a quality tint, HP smoke, for an incomparable price. He showed me the heat lamp and the actual box that they pull the tint from. He named the brand the type and also gave me all the specs of the tint. He helped me to choose a shade of 20 for the back windows and 35 for the front windows. This is the optimal shade preference to avoid police attention while maximizing the most possible privacy without hindering night driving. The tint looks really good and the team here was really nice. They treated my car as if it was their own. Thank you again protint and thank you Emmanuel! read more

Good tint job, fast, and good price. Andy is good, but the other sales don't know what he is talking when it comes to car audio. I had 2 cars tinted here and they did good. read more

I'd been here in the past and requested quotes for tint and some accessories. Their price is definitely not the cheapest, but you get what you paid for. After doing research, my friend and I recently got our car tinted here with Solar Gard Tint film. He got the HP Smoke while I got the HP Quantum film. It's not the typical 100-120 tint job, but if you know about tint films, these are quality film that cost more. Yes, they do carried the "standard" film for about 120, which other tint places such as California Tint offers. Jeff is a very cool and honest guy. I bugged him 3 days in that week inquiring about tint and finally come and did it. He is very knowledgeable and won't BS you like other places. Those review that said go to California Tint or other places, just remember people, "You get what you paid for". They can't charge you more for the exact same crap you can find somewhere else. read more

ive been coming here with my past 4 cars. They gave me very good deals each time. The after sales service is excellent. Anytime when there was anything wrong with my car i can just take it back to them and they will fix it right away. Jeff is always helpful and will spend as much time as needed to explain to me whatever it is they are doing. NO COMPLAINTS!!! read more

I was looking for a place to have my BMW tinted. I spoked with Jeff and explain to me all the different tint material. He was honest and very helpful. He made me comfortable and answer all my questions. I decided to tinted my window that day and his wife Gabby gave me a ride to my next appointment. They are both very nice, kind and friendly. Thank you Jeff and Gabby for excellent service. read more

I am a repeat customer at Pro tint and I placed many yelp reviews praising pro tint, although they haven't been showing up lately (Yelp) , so I hope this one stays up. Pro tint in a one word summary is integrity. The prices are fair and Jeff the owner, always lets you know exactly what your purchasing. Jeff is Pro tint, and I will always return for the great service he and his staff continuously provide! read more

I guess my last rating didn't make it. I stopped by Pro tint after a few years to let him know I would be coming by with my new 2015 4 runner. Called a few places but nobody took the time to explain the alarms and their functions like Jeff. Honest and fair prices, not to mention quality work and very clean install. Don't shop around just to save $20 when you can come here and get all. read more

Very great shop! From the phone call- Jeff was very helpful/ informative and professional! Very impressed - compared to the 3-4 shops I had been to and called. As soon as I walked in to the shop- Jeff's wife was very nice in greeting me! Jeff took the time to go over many options and my budget. No other shops gave me this amount of time/attention/ and respect as a customer. After about 20 min of talking with Jeff and going over my 2013 TRD Tacoma- Jeff made great suggestions and fair pricing! So I went ahead with the install. Hands down all the crew and staff at Pro Tint is on point and professional . Also- this is the first shop that I went to that was crazy busy- which in my eyes says a lot about the shop. You don't want to eat at spot that has no customers right? Same logic for stereo/ tint shop. Even with the shop full over cars, Jeff was able to get my truck started. Jose the installer does great work! Very clean and professional! Took time to explain and answer my questions which I appreciate ! Thank you to Jose and Jeff who stayed late to wrap up my truck! Thanks also to Angel who also stayed after and fixed tint on my rear window and matched to existing tint! I highly recommend this shop! Jeff and his crew are spot on/ professional and great quality work! read more

Just got my Kia Optima tinted here (3M Color Stable). Amazing job and great customer service. Very satisfied.

This business, from the first, random "I just have a question" contact, has proven they want my business, and I am confident they will prove that to you as well. I went from asking if they had a certain antenna adapter (they did) for an installation I was having done on my truck, to having them install a competitively better receiver (with which I am 100% satisfied) and soon they will replace my front speakers for me. The owner, Jeff, does a good job of meeting one's needs, while suggesting possible improvements. For me, the improvements all had much bang for the buck. I don't give 5-star reviews often. read more

I was able to get a few hours off during a weekday and man was i glad that i chose protint over the other shops in the area. Immediately upon entering the shop i was greeted by a gentleman named Emmanuel (funny name for an asian guy). He helped me choose a quality film for my budget since i was working with a limited amount of cash due to me having a gf. Haha but we decided on a great film that still had decent heat rejection and a lifetime warranty for just under 250 dollars. Its been a few weeks since I've gotten the tint done and i have been hesitant to post a review until I've given the tint a chance to crap out on me but its looking amazing and i don't see any bubbling or peeling. There are no specks since emmanuel promised me that they make sure the tint is dust free before applying and so far the tint has kept my car much cooler and given it a whole new look at an amazing affordable price! I loved my lexus and now i love it even more!! Thank you protint! I will definitely be back with friends and family! read more

ProTint - Car Stereo Installation Near Me - Temple City, California

In one word: SCAMMERS! I made a huge mistake in having these shysters installing tint films on car windows. The owner LIED about almost everything he said he would do. But I didn't know that until it's too late. For example, he installed a cheaper (in quality) film but charged me on a more expensive one. Then when confronted, he used the tactic of intimidation and rudeness to discourage me from holding him accountable. Don't fall for cheap price or too-good-to-be-true sale pitches. Looking back I would better off paying a little higher to have quality installation done by real professionals. Pro Tint often use high school kids who need extra money and these many of the "installers" are armatures at best. I had to spend more money at another outfit to fix the sloppy jobs done by Pro Tint . There is nothing "pro" about Pro Tint, just con - con artists! On that note, I would incline to believe those one-star comments than those five-star ones since they could very well be "paid" advertisements. Listen to the victims rather than self-promoting praises. read more

Update, Jeff the owner really took care of my stuff after I went the shop again about my tint. They fix mostly what they can fix. They fixed the door trim. There are still bubbles on the tint but I really liked that Jeff is friendly and his service. So I have to give 4 stars. Had my Audi A4 tint in this shop last Friday. The water bubbles are not gone yet, have to wait and see if the job has done great or not. But, water marks all over the place, they don't cover your dash or anything when applying the job, which is fine. they can be clean up easy. Dirties around the corners of my door trim, which is fine 2, because it can be clean up easy. But the interesting part is they left a 6 inch long and very bad scratch on my door frame inside the car next to the back seat. It was on the plastic made trim. Haven't talk to the shop yet, hopefully they can do it right for me. But after reading all reviews I felt i went to the wrong place and I will be assuming they will not do anything for me read more

these guys are a-holes. took my truck to get tinted. they ended up scratching my shell, then had the nerve to pull out a sharpie to 'fix' it. to top it off the said they would give me some kind of BS cleaner, which they never honored. Tried this place since I didn't want to wait for the long line at California Tint. They charge about 20% more but promised a quick turn around. Big mistake. Had very bad service by the guy named Jeff who clearly thinks it's ok to have a smart mouth with customers I made my appointment at 1:30 pm on 02/03/2016 I was running late and I called 10 minutes before to let them know a guy answered the phone and I clearly told him in running a few minutes late is that ok he told me to hold on I'm guessing he was asking someone if it was ok he came back on the phone and said yes it's ok don't worry it's ok if you are late and I said ok thanks I got there about 10-15 min late & the girl working there helped me she is very nice and has excellent customer service skills she started writing the paper up and I also asked her how much it would cost to get an AUX installed on my car she gave me a few options so that took about 10 min more then the guy Jeff walks in and she asked him so then he took over he started telling me the different things and how Bluetooth works and gave me options he spoke for another 10 min by this time it's past 2pm then this other Girl walks in and she was being helped by the girl that works there while this Jeff guy is still talking I told him no it's ok I just wanted to know about how much it would cost this is my second car and don't really use it yet he continued trying to sell me I told him no it's ok I'm just gonna get the tint done so then he says ok I had already signed the papers so I ask the girl is that all and she says yes I can come back in 1 hour and 30 min then this guy Jeff again opens his mouth and says u had an appointment right at 1:30 I say yes he says well you were late so I'm gonna take her car first so it's gonna take 2 hours and I said but I called and a guy answered he said it was ok then he still says well you didn't talk to me idk who u talked to, The point here is he didn't have to tell me none of that we were walking out already and I really do feel that since I didn't buy the extra stuff he just didn't care about me anymore and wanted to make me wait longer I said ok fine and as I'm walking out with my friend he only told the guy Jeff to know who's answering his phone so this won't happen again and there's he goes again the guy Jeff started being a smart ass saying what did u say I do know who answers my phone like he was trying to pick a fight or something he just couldn't stay quiet until we left then jake posted a review and the guy Jeff called me to apologize and to go back and he would give me a discount he also wanted me to tell my friend jake to take down his review and I wasn't planning on writing a review anymore but this one girl Rachel H wrote a review after my friends review telling her story and said we were the bad customers when she didn't even know what happened in the first place Jeff probably offered her a discount for writing a good review and told her how bad we were after we left as well as treated her soo good since she was there when I was and saw only part of it I know how that game goes I been in the customer service field for over 10 years and I know if someone gets me irritated I gotta keep my mouth shut and suck it up not talk back to the customer but this guy Jeff just didn't know how to keep his mouth shut all of this could have been avoided easily I wouldn't recommend this place at all due to this horrible experience with Jeff but that's just me talking hope this review was helpful to to future yelpers because this is the real truth read more

I brought in my 2000 CR-V Honda for a new alarm system and I was pleased with the result and was given a great deal (after shopping around). the gentleman that installed the alarm system explained how to use and demonstrated all the features. the following year I brought in the same suv to have an Ipod adapter installed so I can now listen to my Ipod (without the cassette/headphone adapter, which my CR-V doesn't have, only 1 CD player). the installation was done by professionals. Can't see any wires. my friends freak out when I can control my Ipod with the dashboard controls and not have to fumble with the actual Ipod to skip song. My friends want one in their car too. I've been to other shops like this one with my Honda Sedan and didn't have the same good experience as i had at this shop. I found Pro Tint to be a stress-free atmosphere with knowledgeable friendly people in the store. Great deal and great service. read more

Got my SUV tinted here about 3 years back. Tint tech was awesome, no bubbles or dirt under the tint. I got the lifetime no fade tint. Unfortunately it started to fade after 2 years. It didn't turn purple, but you can clearly see that the tint got lighter because the top edge of the glass is darker from being protected by the door/window jam. I'm sure they will stand by the product, but it is too much trouble to bring it back and they'll likely put the same tint back in. read more

Pro Tint is definitely the place to get your car tinted. I've been to many tint places around the area and none has come close to the quality and customer service Pro Tint provides. Ive had over 3 cars tinted by them with no problem. As for the shop they are very courteous and professional. Most of their tint, if not all come with some type of warranty, and the awesome thing about it is Jeff the owner honors the warranty with no question asked unlike many other places I have been to. I would definintley recommend this place to everyone. read more

I had a fantastic experience at Pro tint. I recently purchased a Mazda3 and i decided to go to pro tint to have my windows tinted. They gave me an unbeatable price that no other business around could beat. The owner Jeff was extremely friendly, professional and helpful . You could tell he really knew what to do, how to do it and i was in and out in 1 1/2 hours. I would recommend pro tint to anyone who wants exceptional service and an unbeatable price read more

I went down to pro tint because i went to the shop next door to get my system installed and and when i saw what the shop next door did to my car(it looked liked they gave a 5yr old a pair of pliers and told him go play) i went to pro tint and they took care of me re installed my system professionally correctly and very clean and better sounding and I'm an audiophile so i know what bad sounds like. But what really got me to write this review and give them 5 stars is that pro tint is a one of a kind place as in there's something for everybody. one example is if your the type that wants to get creative with your car and customize it and make it look like one of a kind, Jeff and the team well help you with that help you brainstorm ideas and ways make your car look good, and they do that in a very professional way they don't push anything on you as far as i could tell and in my research there tinters and installers are top notch ten times better then AL and Ed's but yes there prices are a lil above average but your paying for good equipment and good work and they don't put down your car then overcharge you like AL and eds does but honestly what i love about these guys is they put a personal touch to every car they work on and i truly appreciate that because i do the same in every drink i make as a bartender and in today's world every place is so cookie cutter that its truly nice to see a place that's personal like that but to the ppl that just want to get in and out hey take care of you there too but don't just take my word for it because in this economy where so many places are closing down the places that still open there doors and still bring customers well... all can say is there still open for a reason .but you know if your reading this review and still have questions just go down get an estimate and look at the shop your self. read more

I had a great experience here from start to finish. I called into Pro Tint to inquire about tinting the windows on my new BMW 5 Series and spoke to Emmanuel. He was very detailed on the phone and was extremely knowledgeable about the various types of tints they offer, broke down the pricing for me, and gave me quotes for a couple of options I was interested in. They only use good quality products here. I decided to go with the 3M Color Stable. I made an appointment, took my car in at that time and they started to work on my car immediately. After they were done, the manager, Jeff, was extremely detailed when he inspected my car to ensure the tint work was done correctly and to ensure that I was happy with their work. Both Emmanuel and Jeff were friendly and professional. Really cool guys. Their customer service is top notch and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to get their windows tinted on their vehicles. read more

Jeff spent the time explaining & demonstrating the functions of the alarm system which was appreciated. I did not have an appointment but dropped my car off at 9:10am and picked up at 5:15pm. I don't like to waste my time when I'm putting my dollar into something. So I constantly research and review before I make a decision on whatever it is. Thursday night I found Pro Tint on yelp, and decided to go here for my alarm system Friday morning! I requested a quote from Jeff on here and in his reply I was surprised with the prices. So I spoke to my mom about it since this was a partial mothers day gift from her. So Friday morning we arrived a little early because I assumed business might get busy as I didn't have an appointment. When Jeff opened I was #2 in line. Luckily an appointment hadn't showed up so the department to do my alarm was open. We also decided to remove the tint I already had on my driver and passenger window because they were knicked. We had patience as the phone kept ringing, and Jeff or his wife answered it. But what I loved is under business pressure, Jeff remained very calm and professional. I had an old issue with my door panel from before, and Jeff's wife called me before my car was almost done just to make sure I was aware of that issue. What I was also surprised with and liked that I noticed, was before whatever job was being done to a vehicle they inspect the entire car to basically make sure the job could be done 100% to satisfaction. Thank you Jeff and all your staff at Pro Tint!!!!!!!!!!!! I love my new tint and viper alarm. My mom is already planning to go back to get Viper also! read more
