I had read multiple reviews for the doctor and also for the staff. The reviews said that because…read morethe staff is rude the patients were no longer going to goto Doctor Fiedler. I don't blame them. I found availability online but the system isn't working so I called to book the appointment. The person who answered the line said she would book it and put me on old. After 15 minutes she never came back so I called back. An extremely rude individual, who sounded highly unprofessional, kept speaking over me and telling me that another doctor's nurse was available and that if I saw the doctor I called to schedule the appointment with I wouldn't be able to see the other doctor. It had to be one of the most idiotic things I have heard. If I called to book an appointment with Dr. Fiedler, why would I care that I wouldn't be able to see a different doctor in the practice. I politely tried to explain to the highly immature person and said I was calling to book with Dr. Fiedler the appointment the website said was available and that the person who kept me on hold said was available. The woman didn't comprehend what I was saying being she kept repeating that I could book an appointment with a nurse and then see a different doctor later on instead of Dr. Fiedler. After around 12 minutes of her not grasping that I wanted to book an appointment with Dr. Fiedler and not the nurse she told me the appointment was no longer available and did I want to book an appointment with a nurse. It is a shame that Dr. Fielder not only has a rude secretary but she also can't seem to comprehend what people say because who he hires reflect upon him and just as other people said they would no longer make appointments with his office because of the staff, I also won't. I can't only hope that after some experience his secretary becomes more suitable for office work.

In all my encounters with these specialty doctors, I have never, ever run into a so-called professional who was so unprofessional in his approach his bedside manner, his demeanor, warmth, interest, etc. This was my first appointment with Dr. Cohen, and it took me hours to coordinate an appointment with his totally disorganized staff and office. It was nearly a comedy of errors when trying to work out an appointment between his office and the VA, which I never experienced before. I finally got an opportunity to meet with him and he was totally removed from the encounter, lacking eye contact and warmth, showing little or no interest in my case or me other than a perfunctory attempt at patient interaction. After that encounter I thought about it and decided to cancel my appointment with him. When I did go to the office to retrieve my authorization letter, he was there and had his head buried in his phone while I attempted to explain why I canceled. Common courtesy things such as, can you please fax me the paperwork he will be filling out so that we don't spend so much time filling this out when we get there (they asked me to come in 20 minutes before his appointment to do this), again it was "sorry, we can't" REALLY?
