Where do I begin to keep the reader right on point,first of all the home was luxurious and spacious accordingly the price was asked and true to pictures but it was one and only good thing dealing with this management company!!!!!!!!!!! The rest of the things were simply low class conversations and blow up stories to keep the client. We have rented for 2 months and never bothered agents for anything (stupid of us),we of course had to pay for once a week cleaning that was done horrible by their employees with outrageous hourly rate and multiple things kept breaking in the home during our stay (toilets,TVs). To add to a big picture I will mention that they don't pick up trash cans very often and we had bears appeared right in front of the house eating that garbage!!! We had to clean it up with our bare hands cos police officers were called by neighbors and the management company of course gave us some promising stories about how hard they r trying to get to us ASAP. I could be giving you much more details but will mentions 2 more things that will keep ur eyes open and hopefully u will stay away from these liers and thefts. One is I have asked to purchase a set of fresh linens of any quality as long as it was new and unused since we were staying there for a long time and the price range of the place screamed for itself any necessaries the client is willing to have so that was taken very personally by an agent and they made it look like I'm asking for impossible. There was a detailed bill for how much mess we have left and it was all fixed up using our deposit of course! We even purchased an insurance to cover any damages we may leave behind and there was no end to it looking for a true answer or professionalism from their side so please stay away from the promises and this agency it is simply bad news!!!! I just got back from a week in Aspen and we stayed at Lift One Condos. What a great place! We had a…read more3-bedroom unit on the second floor. It was a corner unit, so it had a wrap-around balcony, which was so nice the first few days we were there when the weather was so warm. The fire place was great to have on the next two days when it got cold again! Each of the three bedrooms had its own attached bathroom, which was great for our group, as we all got ready at the same time in the mornings. The kitchen was fully-stocked, so we didn't have to worry about buying plastic silverware or paper plates, and the cookware was all really nice. We made some good meals in that kitchen! There's also a heated pool and hot tub on the premises! The location of the condos is awesome. 3 blocks to the gondola on Ajax, 2 blocks to the bus stop for Buttermilk, Aspen Highlands, and Snowmass, and the stop for Ajax (if you don't want to walk the 3 blocks) is right in front of the building. You can also walk 2 blocks up from the condos to the Shadow Mountain lift on Ajax. The bus coming from the other three mountains drops you off at the Lift One doorstep, which is great after a long day of skiing. I highly recommend staying at Lift One if you're going to the Aspen/Snowmass area!

The staff is super friendly at the front desk and the rooms are nice and clean and serviced daily. Decent shampoo, conditioner, and lotion are included which is a nice plus compared to other condos where you need to run out and buy your own. Full size kitchens make it easy to keep nibblies on hand for easy breakfast before you hit the slopes or for times when you don't want to go out and eat. The City Market, the main grocery store in Aspen, is within walking distance though you'll want to balance the weight of what you can carry or consider multiple trips and buy only what you need if you are walking. No need for a car if you stay at Lift One though they have a small guest parking lot at no extra cost.

The ENTIRE time we went without hot water! There was never anybody at the front desk to address the issue with and we were not able to get through on the emergency phone number listed. We reported this problem after leaving to Mary, the property manager, and received a rude attitude on the phone and a nasty email in response! I regret wasting my money on this rental, and hope others will learn from my mistake!!!

If I could rate Whitman, and specifically Debbie Jagel zero stars, I would. Debbie and I had a…read moreverbal agreement for my wife and I to rent her condo in Aspen for 30 days this upcoming ski season. She confirmed, removed the listing from Airbnb, and asked me if we could send her the rental agreement we've used while renting our house in LA. My wife happily sent it over to Debbie and her attorney husband Peter Jagel after a seemingly great call Debbie and I had together. Well, over the course of 3 weeks they would make small changes to the agreement and send it back over to us and make clear that everything was good and we had an agreement in place. Then, right before signing while we were negotiating security deposit, right before Thanksgiving, Peter wrote us an email saying that they found a better offer and "sorry for the confusion." Ha! Confusion? And then Debbie had Jordan on her team at Whitman reach out to me with other options that were 2x as expensive! And now the other condos we were considering before choosing Debbie's condo are all gone. Worst of all, she won't call/email or text me back, just leaving my wife and I hanging. Horrible, low-integrity individual that exhibits spineless behavior. I would never, ever use Debbie or her husband Peter or any company they're affiliated with. And to think she's a professional real estate agent. Insane.
