    Cougar medium pizza
    Vivian L.

Found this pizza place on Yelp and stopped by for lunch after our hikes (Toketee Falls and Watson Falls). The man who took our order was kind and welcoming. He opened the door to the patio seating for us to enjoy the sunshine. We ordered Cougar medium pizza. They were generous with the toppings. It was delicious and filling!

Great little place to stop by after hiking around Mill Creek Falls. Very welcoming & we were able to sit with our dog out back with picnic tables & a cute little garden with raspberries & corn Very affordable as well.

This place is LEGIT!! We had SUCH a great time at Prospect Pizza, it was awesome, great food, super fun atmosphere, good beers, an all around win here! Be sure to stop by if you are in the area! We were on our girls trip to Crater Lake, and stayed at the Union Creek Resort, and were looking for a good place for some dinner. This place was dog-friendly so we decided to come here...the outside is definitely nothing to write home about (I'm pretty sure the building is a trailer actually), but that's part of its charm! Once you step inside its super homey and an awesome place where you just want to pull up to the bar and drink and eat pizza and chat with the bartender...which is exactly what we did! The bartender was super nice and friendly, and we had the place to ourselves so it was perfect! We were really hungry from being out at Crater Lake all day so we got cheesy bread, wings, and a large everything pizza (the Cougar, maybe?)...our apps came out and they were awesome, the cheesy bread was on point and the wings were delicious, great dipping sauces too. Once the pizza came out....yeah it was amazing! Such good flavor, we couldn't stop eating! All of us had so many pieces of pizza, it was really good, great toppings, crust was good, just an all-around great pizza! We were definitely pleased and had a wonderful evening! We also all got beers, which they have about 5 or so on tap, even a couple from the Creamery! (Klamath Brewing). All the beers I had there were pretty good, and one of my girlfriends and I each ended up getting a growler (only $12!) so we could drink around the campfire later...and their growlers were SOOO COOL!! On the growler there were pictures of Crater Lake, Mt Thielson, Diamond Lake, Prospect, Union Creek, and surrounding areas, the perfect memento of our girls trip! SCORE! Prospect pizza was a super fun place with really good food, good beer, and awesome atmosphere. Together with a nice, helpful bartender and being dog-friendly, this place was a solid win and earned their 5-star rating! Go check it out for yourself, I definitely recommend it!!

Wandered in here because I really felt like a good pizza. I chatted it up with the owner and he said the local favorite was the Abbott Butte. I ordered it and we chatted about his work in the National Forestry Service and how things were in the little town of Prospect. The food came out and I inhaled almost 3/4 of it. It was delicious and something a bit different than what you could encounter anywhere else. Whether you're from out of town or you're local you should really check this place out. It's 110% worth it.

The warmth of the wooden interior, the welcoming smiles, and the comforting aroma of homemade food instantly make you feel at ease. The menu is packed with hearty, satisfying options that truly hit the spot. Breakfast is outstanding -- fluffy pancakes, perfectly cooked eggs, crispy hash browns, and generous portions that fuel you for a full day of exploring. Their country-style dishes are rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Lunch and dinner are just as impressive, with juicy burgers, comforting homestyle plates, and fresh, well-prepared ingredients in every bite. Of course, the highlight -- and what Beckie's Café is legendary for -- is the pie. The homemade pies are absolutely unforgettable. Flaky, buttery crust paired with perfectly sweet, fruit-filled centers make each slice taste like it came straight from grandma's kitchen. Whether it's a classic apple or a seasonal berry variety, it's worth saving room for dessert. The service is just as memorable as the food. The staff are genuinely friendly, attentive, and create a welcoming environment that makes you want to linger a little longer over coffee. It's clear this café has built its reputation over decades by doing things the right way -- quality food, warm hospitality, and consistency. If you're passing through Prospect or heading toward Crater Lake, Beckie's Café is a must-stop destination. It's more than just a meal -- it's an experience you'll look forward to repeating. Five stars, without hesitation.

We ordered drinks and shared the bacon elk blue cheeseburger with fries, which was good. The Crater Lake Chardonnay and the Boneyard IPA were great choices to accompany the meal. Our server, Luigi, was especially gracious--he made an exception to serve us outside, even though service is normally offered indoors. Since it was the Tuesday after Labor Day and not very busy, he said it would work out fine, and we truly appreciated the accommodation. The only drawback was the outdoor chairs, which leaned back at such an angle that they were uncomfortable, almost as if designed for hikers with backpacks. Aside from that, we had a very nice experience.

The place has wifi, which was helpful since we didn't have service in the park or around the park. We ordered to go because there was a long wait to be seated. The to-go order took about 15-20 minutes. I ordered the chicken bacon Mac and cheese, and chicken tenders with fries. The chicken tenders and fries were good, nothing out of the ordinary. I always wish we could get more chicken. The Mac and cheese was very cheesy - but saucy cheesy. There was almost too much sauce.

I'm assuming the Hubbs liked his bacon cheeseburger because it was gone before I could even take a look at it. I wasn't feeling like a burger and at the recommendation of the lady at the counter, I got the Reuben which came with pastrami & sauerkraut on grilled rye Bread. For $8.85 you get a large tasty sandwich that you can easily pay $15 at most places. The food is made the old fashioned way, upon order and the French fries are made with fresh potatoes. A Leap of Taste was one of the few spots open, and after seeing all the great reviews, we decided to give it a try. The ambiance is really cute and cozy -- lots of decor, lighting, and seating that makes it feel welcoming and comfortable. Service was also quick and friendly, which we appreciated. We ordered the Green Machine smoothie and a matcha, and both were really good and definitely a highlight of our visit. Where the experience fell a bit short for us was the food. While the presentation was great, the taste didn't quite match expectations. The breakfast tacos listed potatoes, but they ended up being more like tater tots, and the tortillas weren't warm -- my friend wasn't very fond of them. I ordered the #5 sandwich, which was described as being on jalapeño toast, but it came on regular toast instead, along with a pickle on the side. The sandwich itself was okay -- not bad, but something I could easily make at home. For the two drinks and two food items, we paid around $40, which felt a bit high considering the overall food experience. I can see why this place is well-loved by locals -- it fits the neighborhood vibe and likely appeals to the regular crowd -- but as visitors, the food didn't quite live up to the hype for us. Overall, it's a cute spot with great drinks, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere. I'd probably come back for beverages, but I'd skip the food next time
