While the outside of the building doesn't reveal much, once you step inside, you are greeted by a warm and inviting feeling. The restaurant is comfortable with big picnic type tables. We were immediately greeted by an employee and given the lay of the land. The service was both friendly and professional. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The menu has many pizza and sandwich options. They have a decent amount of craft beers on tap and numerous bottle and can options. Best pizza hands down! And they have more than pizza! Local craft beers and coffee mugs of crater lake. We made a super quick trip to crater lake from grants pass and needed some dinner on our way home. We found this gem! The owner was super nice and we had a great conversation. He was full of information for our journey back to Arkansas. Yet the biggest blessing was the pizza! I have celiac and need gfree pizza. Well the Lord provided big time! Apparently his wife prepares the gfree crust making sure cutting boards and knives are cleaned. They freeze the crust to help keep from cross contamination. And... I didn't get sick! Yay! I got the Mediterranean pizza. The rest of the family got the pepperoni. It was all wonderful. Side note..... if you want a souvenir mug of crater lake get it here! A nice stop if your going up to crater lake. one of the few options along the way, but it's the best one to make! Local Family business, the owner was very friendly and informative. Considering there are only three real places to eat out here within 15-20 miles, the pizza was the best option, unless you want burgers. The pizza and salad were pretty good but the toppings fall all over the place because the cheese is on the bottom. Did I mention that I love pizza? I didn't however love this pizza. I wanted to but... The crust had zero flavor. In fact, all of the ingredients were dismal. I was sorely disappointed. A small pepperoni cost $19. It would feed 2 to 3 people but why? I brought the leftovers to hubby and he didn't care for it either. This place is LEGIT!! We had SUCH a great time at Prospect Pizza, it was awesome, great food, super fun atmosphere, good beers, an all around win here! Be sure to stop by if you are in the area! We were on our girls trip to Crater Lake, and stayed at the Union Creek Resort, and were looking for a good place for some dinner. This place was dog-friendly so we decided to come here...the outside is definitely nothing to write home about (I'm pretty sure the building is a trailer actually), but that's part of its charm! Once you step inside its super homey and an awesome place where you just want to pull up to the bar and drink and eat pizza and chat with the bartender...which is exactly what we did! The bartender was super nice and friendly, and we had the place to ourselves so it was perfect! We were really hungry from being out at Crater Lake all day so we got cheesy bread, wings, and a large everything pizza (the Cougar, maybe?)...our apps came out and they were awesome, the cheesy bread was on point and the wings were delicious, great dipping sauces too. Once the pizza came out....yeah it was amazing! Such good flavor, we couldn't stop eating! All of us had so many pieces of pizza, it was really good, great toppings, crust was good, just an all-around great pizza! We were definitely pleased and had a wonderful evening! We also all got beers, which they have about 5 or so on tap, even a couple from the Creamery! (Klamath Brewing). All the beers I had there were pretty good, and one of my girlfriends and I each ended up getting a growler (only $12!) so we could drink around the campfire later...and their growlers were SOOO COOL!! On the growler there were pictures of Crater Lake, Mt Thielson, Diamond Lake, Prospect, Union Creek, and surrounding areas, the perfect memento of our girls trip! SCORE! Wandered in here because I really felt like a good pizza. I chatted it up with the owner and he said the local favorite was the Abbott Butte. I ordered it and we chatted about his work in the National Forestry Service and how things were in the little town of Prospect. The food came out and I inhaled almost 3/4 of it. It was delicious and something a bit different than what you could encounter anywhere else. Whether you're from out of town or you're local you should really check this place out. Stop what you're doing. If you're going to crater lake or are around Prospect you MUST stop into Prospect Pizza. The pizza is amazing, the service is fantastic and the beer is delicious. I live in Los Angeles and every year my dad and I travel to different national parks. This year was crater lake, and we had no idea what to do or where to go. We came to Prospect pizza as it was on our way to our cabin and entrance to the park. Randy was amazing and dropped some knowledge on the park and places to go in and around it. The pizza is seriously some of the best I've had and I've never had such good craft beer at such a good price. I can't say enough about how great this place is! After a trip to crater lake we were headed back west. Not sure of what direction to go and no cell service (woohoo nature!) we decided to stop in prospect to get directions. I noticed a sign on the road for pizza, beer and WiFi. Sold. We drove up and I wasn't too sure. It's small and next to an event park? However I needed WiFi so in I went. So glad I did. The menu is small but plenty of options. When I bread came out I was hyped. Such a large size- an entire loaf in a basket with marinara sauce. We were staying in Prospect go to crater lake and decided to try this pizza place because of the reviews I saw online. I wasn't expecting much because this town is basically in the middle of nowhere. We split a medium size pizza which was enough for two people to eat and still have leftovers. We had the pizza split half and half with one side "red blanket" (pepperoni) and the other side "cougar" (everything). I could tell the ingredients were fresh and carefully selected. This is a really cute pizza corner by mill creek falls. More than a review , I'd like to express my gratitude to the owner and his wife who run the shop . We were a group of 5 , driving down from crater lake late at night , when it was pitch dark and literally there is nothing in the vicinity . Reached this restaurant with the hope to get directions to our destination . To our amusement , the owner took our order , 2 hours post his closing time after getting consent from his wife . We were ridiculously hungry . We had a great conversation with the owner while waiting on our pizza. The pizza was so delicious that we finished it in a jiffy , like a hungry pack of wolves . It was no where close to greasy and it was one of the best pizzas I have ever had . Prospect is a small town off the highway near Crater Lake, and you would do well to stop in here. This place is also small, but fit ten of us without issue. We ordered four large pizzas and three pitchers of beer. The pizza is fresh, the crust thin (I usually like thick crust, but these were spectacular), and the service great. We were staying at Crater Lake Lodge and drove about 45 minutes to Prospect Pizza. The owner is hands on and takes great care in preparing and serving your food. He is careful about maintaining a gluten free environment when preparing food. My step daughter Caroline has celiac and he was very knowledgeable about how to use a separate gluten free area to make and assemble her pizza. There was a nice selection of local beers and local hard ciders. He also has a garden where he grows spinach, tomatoes and basil for his pizza. read more

We were coming back from Crater Lake and we're craving some pizza. We found this place on the side of the road in a small town, called Prospect. The place is tiny but has a nice vibe to it. They have wifi, which is helpful if you need to look up directions or anything for your trip. We ordered two large pizzas. One pepperoni and one cheese. The sauce on the pizza was delicious and tasted like fresh marinara sauce used on pasta. The cheese was very cheesy and tasty. The crust was very thin and would have tasted better with some more spices on the crust or some more dough. The workers here were nice and helpful when we asked for directions to our campground. Overall, this was a neat experience in the middle of the wilderness. Check this place out when you are headed back from or headed to Crater Lake! read more

Very tasty thin crust pizza! We had our usual pepperoni mushroom, but many choices are available. The cheesy garlic bread is also excellent and more than we expected. Several beers on tap with an IPA for the hubby. Very friendly owner and fast service. He also told us about some nearby scenic drives we haven't seen yet. This area South of Crater Lake on Hwy 62 has many beautiful scenic short hikes along the Upper Rogue River near Prospect, some within the town itself. Hwy 62 is a beautiful forested drive. read more
