Just tried the Thai chicken salad with peanut sauce. Incredible salad! Delicious fresh greens, sweet red pepper, sliced red onion. Lots of grilled chicken. Sprinkled with hot pepper flakes. It is a little spicy but I loved it. Abundance of cilantro also. It is a little pricey but you get what you pay for!!!! Definitely will have leftovers. read more

Just had dinner at the Eagle Point Pizza Schmizza. AWESOMENESS does not quite describe the food and experience. We ordered the XL Sch'meat'za, thinking it would be like a large... OMGosh it came out huge. We had to take over half of it home. The crust was flakey, but not gooey. The toppings of salami, pepperoni, ground beef, bacon and sausage, with black olives was over the top. There was just enough marinara sauce and the cheese was melted perfectly. One of the best pizzas we have had in a long time. The owner, I think his name is Shane, was the perfect host. He honored a gift card we had with no problem. He made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us several times with a great attitude. The music was at a comfortable level, and there were sports programs on the mounted televisions. This was just a very nice, comfortable, and clean place to have a great pizza with great staff. We'll be back.. THANK YOU!! read more

The food is fine.................when they're open. One has no way of knowing when they actually have employees, and are open for business. They do not seem to think it's important, or helpful to let their customers know: WHEN THE ACTUAL F#*k THEY ARE OPEN. Pizza Schmizza in Eagle Point is my go to. All of the food is really good but the Cobb salad is the best. It's really big and packed with all the items you would want. Some places pack salads with too much lettuce... not here, it's equally proportioned. I can't eat it all at once. The pizza is one of the best.. can't think of anywhere better in southern Oregon. Great bar with a rock and roll atmosphere. Perfection takes time, so please be patient when ordering your food; you won't be disappointed! This place was popp'n before Covid.. I think I was most disappointed with the service at this establishment. I can deal with a long wait in line to place an order. But then, when I finally get to the front of the line.....after 30 minutes.....I am totally ignored. As if things could get worse, when I finally get to place my order I am snapped at. Not one to be deterred, I place my order, and wait an eternity for my food to be ready. When it arrives it is just mediocre. I will say the pizza crust itself is quite good.. it's crispy and fluffy. But as soon as you pick up a slice to take a bite all the toppings just slide right off. Repeated customer service issues both pre and post covid. Today was the last straw. I walked up to the bar and the bartender ordered me to go to the cash register. I simply said I wanted to sit at the bar but he would have none of it. He told me this three times and I acknowledged it three times. He did this in front of another customer and I politely said thank you and left. Best of the best. Sauces are made fron scratch. Pizza dough is made in the old time method and raised to order. Salads are a must to try especially the Cobb salad. Staff is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very clean. Best Pizza for miles around!!! read more

Charged us for an extra ounce of ranch, told us the pizza we ordered was a special so we got that (they forgot to tell us it was $5 more) overpriced drinks on tap, and the kids didn't even like the pizza. $7.50 for a small basket of fries? If i could give a negative star I would. I have been buying the same pizza for 2 years (med, pep, sausage, mushrooms, onions, green bells and ex cheese) for 21.50. But tonight it was 30.50 YEP 10.00 more. When I asked Shayne G why it was 10.00 more he became very aggressive and said that was the price, when I said I had been coming for 2 years and the price has always been 21.50 he said they must not have been charging me for toppings, REALLY for 2 years??? He said they had not raised their prices. WTH?? Something changed. I get Covid and I could even understand 3-5 more but NOT 10. I will never go back, and not just because of the price but because of the TERRIBLE customer service. You should be ashamed of yourself. Advise ASK for your total so you know what your getting!! This used to be one of our go-to places (Eagle Point doesn't have much to offer) but honestly it's gone so far downhill. The service used to be great, everyone was so friendly, and now it is embarrassingly horrible. The last few times we've been there we've waited over an hour and a half for food, management was beyond rude, there were mistakes with our order that they did not want to fix and it's been all around very exhausting and frustrating meals. We waited over 15 mins just to get our check and some boxes when it wasn't even a busy night. Sad to see an establishment degrade like this. read more

I would give negative stars if I could!... I go into this place a couple times a week and the service sucks and it takes forever to get food or a drink. Seriously the worst service! But none the less I still go for cold beer and wings till this last time I sat down and the server said he would help us before taking others orders, then he went and took the others orders without even getting us a drink. We asked for a beer and he said he needed to take everyone elses order first and we said "but we were here first" after that he threw shit on the ground and said he wasn't serving us. The owner came out and said he had to side with him and proceeded to toss us out. Had a bad experience with a older man with glasses. He had an issue right when I walked through the door during happy hour to get a drink, some wings and play video lottery. He wasn't happy that I grabbed a happy hour menu off of the table when I first came in, just to glance at what choices there were. Told me (we have the same one up front can you put that one down) mind you be had two people in the entire place, I'm sure it was completely fine to pick up a small menu on a table. Everything down to how I ordered was wrong apparently and he treated me with no respect at all. I don't typically complain because I know people have bad days, but this time was different and he definitely wasn't happy I was there for some reason. Absolutely will not return. Their management during lunch hour is horrendous. Their time management needs help. The food taste great when he actually serves it and takes care of you but that's a rare occasion. Today I sat there for 5 minutes waiting to order a slice of pizza and he finally came up thinking I was going to be taken care of he blew me off and said he wasn't ready still and walked away. Similar issue with my mother In-law on the dinner time side of it. She was told it would be half an she was right with the wait and went across the street to shop. My family and I were craving pizza after a drive home from a snow adventure so we stopped in for our first time. THIS PLACE ROCKS!! Great customer service, love the fun hip atmosphere including billiards and slots + beers and full bar. Pizza by the slice or whole pie. Their wings are juicy, saucey and crispy; crispy can be hard to find at times. We ordered large pizzas that were big enough to take plenty home so didn't try more off their menu yet but suspect all items are delicious. We'll be back to explore more of their menu for sure. read more

So, uh, what's with all the filtered reviews? Anyway, considering the Pizza Schmizza chain is certainly worth a visit when you're in the Portland area, I'm not sure what's going out in Eagle Point. The menu's more or less the same as best as I can recall, but that's where the similarities end. While the Portland locations are generally staffed by disaffected hipsters, they're at least pleasant enough for the short while you're dealing with them. That, and they get your food right. I've been to Schmizza's EP location, and it's a crapshoot as to whether or not they get your order right. Will they tell your food will take much longer than needed to cook -- thus ensuring it sits and gets cold? Yes. Will the tell you your food will only need a short while to cook but need more time -- thus ensuring a lengthy wait? Yes. Will they under/over cook ingredients so that your pizza tastes terrible? Yes. Will you wait at the counter forever for someone to show up and help you? Yes. I figured my first few experiences were just a matter of them getting their sea legs. Unfortunately, the only thing consistent about this Schmizza is that they're rather inconsistent in their service and quality. It's a shame as I mentioned, their Portland-area franchises are generally fantastic. Maybe one day they can be on the same level as Kaleidoscope. So far, that hasn't even been remotely the case. We had been looking for a new pizza place for a while..So it was Christmas Eve, 2021 and we decided to try Pizza Schmizza in Eagle Point, OR. My significant other accidentally called our order in to the Central Point location. Lucky for me the owner was in, he expedited my order and I had it within 15 mins. We got 1/2 Genoa & 1/2 The Sink, it was loaded with delicious toppings and the crust was perfect. Pricey? Yes, almost $40. But, I don't think I've ever had a better pizza! Staff was very hospitable and friendly. Today is December 30, 2021 and I'm already looking forward to my next visit to EP Pizza Schmizza! read more

My family is new to town and we've been underwhelmed by the Southern Oregon food scene. We decided to try this place this weekend for the first time, and it was not awful. The server was very friendly, and it didn't seem to take long for our food to arrive. I had a side Greek salad, which actually was a nice sized pile of seemingly fresh spinach with a nice dressing and some other veggies and feta. The kids enjoyed their pizzas, and the adults had sandwiches that weren't much to write home about, but they weren't awful, either. However, the one major negative (which cost them a full star on this rating) was the massive number of black flies in the dining room. At one point, I counted seven flies buzzing around the windows and even killed one near our table. I hate to think about how many flies might be in the kitchen. Seriously, I've worked in food service, get some fly trap lights and put them in the dining room to control the bugs! Food and service were good, flies were not so good. We'll likely be back at some point to give it a second chance. read more

We have eaten at the EP location on two occasions. The first experience we dined in... the waiter, whom I assume was high on Meth was very friendly, however... he was on meth... or something of that bibbity bobbity nature. My first impression was that it was a bit dirty... but it was also pretty busy. We ordered Onion Rings, Pizza, and a couple drinks. The onion rings were...ehh... not all that, but crunchy at least. the drinks were made to our satisfaction, and when we FINALLY got our pizza we were fairly pleased with its flavor... but already 3 cocktails in, I mustered up the courage to follow the smell back to the restrooms. They were utterly disgusting, and had I not been on the verge of peeing my pants, I would have happily waited until I got home. I was taken back by the lack of care, the smell, and just the overall shady feel that this bathroom is used for more than just a place to relieve one self. uugghh... but it gets better... When we finally got our bill, we paid, and left a decent tip... however, once we got home and I actually looked at the bill, we had been charged for "random food items" multiple times. irritating, but my own fault for not paying better attention. It would be a few short lived hours before I would then find myself in the comfort of my own bathroom while tossing up our expensive pizza party and have non stop vomiting for 14hrs. Quite some time later, we tried them again, but as a to-go order. I attempted to order the "Don Ho" (Canadian Bacon/pinapple) and a greek salad... but to my surprise, the young and seemingly dimwitted female on the line couldn't comprehend what a Don Ho was and proceeded to ask me 3 times while acting like it was cute to be that incompetent. Her valley girl attitude wasn't appreciated. When we got our food, it was not only nothing to compliment, but I have never seen such a weak and pathetic salad in my life. Ever! it looked like someone slapped a single handful of spinach in the box, dropped a couple olives on it, one strip of onion, one cucumber slice... and charged $8 for a meal my rabbit would even scoff at. It was at that point that we completely banned this establishment from our lives... I should have gotten the hint when my body forced its own rejection the first time around. 2 thumbs down for this joint. read more

Overall this is a nice place to eat dinner if you're in Eagle Point (especially if you have kids). The menu is similar to the Pizza Scmizzas in Portland, but very different atmosphere. I went on a Friday night, and it was packed. It took about 45 minutes to get our appetizer and then an additional 15 minutes to get the entrée. We were happy with the breadsticks we got as an appetizer and the pizza was good. I would not recommend the fries. They are battered in flower before fried which gave them a weird chalky after taste. read more

I've never been so pleasantly surprised. We needed some food while we were staying the night in the sleepy town of Shady Cove. I found Pizza Schmizza on yelp and decided to give it a try. We are SO SO SO happy we did! The girls LOVED THEIR FOOD and so did it! They have a ton of creative pizzas and dishes that are well crafted and delicious. No joke, the best buffalo wings I've had in years. Absolutely incredible and I can't recommend this place enough. Made us all very happy! read more
