The second I saw on IG that their special was (what I call) a bánh mì-inspired pizza, I knew it had my name written all over it. It was absolutely outstanding, and honestly, I wish I had eaten it there because it deserved to be enjoyed fresh. The pepperoni is still a favorite every single time. The potato wedges remain undefeated, but LORDT... dipping them in the chimichurri sauce (because I like making adventurous sauce choices) took them to a whole new level. The wings weren't my personal favorite, but once I gave them the chimichurri treatment, everything was right again. And finally... the chocolate cake. I obviously had to get right into it (I have no picture to show for it). I generously shared two bites with my significant other before happily devouring the rest myself. No regrets.

I asked for the pesto on the side and it was not delivered. When I spoke to a manager she claimed, "It must have been miscommunicated because it was marked on the ticket as 'no pesto'". Hmmm I was very clear when ordering. I specificallyasked the cashier, "Can I get the pesto on the side?" She clearly answered, "Of course.". I'm not a fan of passive-aggressively blaming the customer. There was no miscommunication. Asked & answered. 1. Unacceptable food item. 2. Incorrect order delivered. 3. Insulting the customer. Three strikes!

I thought of this Mountain Mike's Pizza lunch buffet that runs Mon through Friday 11 am till 2 pm. You wanna get here early when the fresh pizzas are coming out. The price is $11 with no drink and $12.50 with a soda. That's not a bad upcharge for the soda, compared to what other places charge. We got there a little after 11 am and I just told the cashier 5 lunch buffets with drinks and paid with my card. We got a good table, cause I think you might not get a seat if you get here in the middle of the lunch rush, especially with a party of five. The pizzas were already out and there were a good variety of choices. I didn't know exactly what each one was, but I could spot my fave combo pizzas and a friend saw they had some with pineapples on it and of course the pepperoni for the less adventerous. All the pizzas had a good amount of toppings so we were all pleasantly surprised, not like some pizza buffets where it's just the cheap pizzas that get put out. They even had a nice salad bar that came with the lunch, but me ... I'm saving tummy space for pizza! We all thought this pizza buffet was well worth it and had all kinds of choices, plus the quality was up there with some of the best, non buffet pizzas.

There are ALL kinds of "traditional"- and, much more importantly: NON-"traditional"-read: " not just the mundane," pizzas and other menu items, that are consistently- of the HIGHEST quality that you're gonna find! First off: they use the, "cup" pepperoni, which I like way better than the soft, languid crap a lot of places use. the crust is always done perfect. AND: for those of you that ALWAYS just toss the crust- their crust is also crunchy, and minimal. The toppings are all freshly prepped and cooked perfectly with all options for sides, like bread sticks or garlic knots available in different sizes. Boneless and bone- in wings, multiple flavors of wing sauce are also available. Your basic side, chef, etc. salads also here- in small or main- course size. They also have , "spud" potatoes as a side, which I think are immensely superior to Jo-Jo's..( they're thin, super crunchy, and are uniquely, Abby's-and I APPROVE!) Plus, I like to gamble here, and the folks that work here are really polite, and they do an awesome job at making it a relaxing place to be.
