We had the privilege of joining Bill and Bonnie on one of their horse-drawn carriage rides around…read morethe farm. Their hospitality leading up to the ride was fantastic, the weather was a bit 'iffy' so we ended up pushing back to later in the afternoon. It was still a bit cold and overcast when we arrived and we ended up being the only couple to join them. Blankets were in the carriage waiting for us and we were greeted as soon as we pulled up, the ride was enjoyable and informative... we learned about the farm and a bit about the battle, both Bill and Bonnie were super friendly and it was a pleasure to meet them! After the ride was over we had the opportunity to go back to the barn and meet all the horses. We learned more about each of them and got to feed them carrots, absolutely worth the price and a ride we would definitely do again, hopefully under better weather next time!

Plus, the brewmasters at the sites gave us tours of the brewing area. Huge shout-out to Sign of the Horse Brewery - Hanover, Something Wicked Brewing Company, and Public House At The Markets. If you like craft beer, good food, and a touch of history - both beer & local - this is the tour for you! Pros: * The guide was a decent story teller…read more * The covered bridge provided feelings of paranormal activity. The history of the covered bridge is very interesting. Cons: * Overly priced, particularly in comparison to similar tours. * The tour was supposed to start at 8:30pm. My group was all present prior to 8:30pm. We finally left the parking lot for our first destination at 8:47pm. * Only three locations are offered, all of which are available to the public already. * One of the locations that the tour guide boasted about being exclusive to their company was literally a public dog park. * The lack of passion and engagement displayed by the guide and co-guide was disappointing. * Despite starting nearly twenty minutes late, we also ended twenty minutes early. Not a single participant stayed until 11:30. I believe this was because our tour ended at the dog park. Although they indicate there are 52(ish) acres to investigate, all that is truly accessible is the path that goes around the dog park. The guide doesn't even guide you. They simply set up their "base camp" at one of the picnic shelters. During the entire walk around the park path, you could even hear the guide and co-guide conversing. * When listening to the spirit box with headphones, the guide claimed they're noise canceling. I listened to the spirit box with them and could hear people up to three feet away. Ironically when the co-guide was receiving answers from the spirit box after the main guide would ask questions, the two were sitting about three feet apart most of the time. Also, once I mentioned to the main guide that I could hear conversations through the headphones and that they didn't appear to be noise canceling, only the co-guide was permitted to use them from that point on. That made me very suspicious and I am NOT skeptical about the paranormal at all. All in all, I would not recommend this tour or company based on the price they charge and the overall lackluster experience. In addition the tour is advertised as "advanced," yet there is nothing truly advanced about walking along a park path with a plastic K2 meter.

My daughter and I drove from MD to Gettysburg and was highly disappointed. We were on the 8:30-11:30 tour and was supposed to arrive to the meeting spot 10 minutes early. The GPS was not very helpful and we arrived 8:25. There was no one in the parking lot. We saw a few cars and thought maybe we should follow. I called the number on my confirmation to see if I was going the right way. The person was very helpful and we met up with the group. No one greeted us and we weren't even sure we were in the right spot. We ended up asking a couple of youtubers that were more helpful than the actual group. The tour guide not once acknowledged us. She only talked to a couple of people in the group. It was a very small group and there was no reason for her not to interact with us. My daughter tried asking her a question and she ignored her. When it was time to go to the next location she didn't say anything. Next location it was the same way. My daughter asked others questions and was completely ignored. No one checked to see if we were supposed to be there so essentially I could've just shown up without even paying. I wasted my money on this very unorganized tour. They really should do better. I've seen some really good reviews and either they are all fake or they are from the people who this tour guide actually talked to. If this was free than I could see this being as unorganized as it was. Other paranormal tours I've been on were larger groups and much more organized and interesting than this. They are very nice. The cost was $19 per adult and $10 per kiddo. I did appreciate that they didn't play any music so we could converse.

Then I found Turkey Hill Ice cream Experience only 30min away from Lancaster, and decided to visit. We bought the double scoop experience (comes with ice cream test lab) and obviously that was the highlight of the place! The test lab is about 45min experience and the whole thing with self-guided tour takes about 1hr 30min to 2 hours depending how crowded it is. The visit was fun and of course my 5-year-old daughter had a great time eating tons of ice cream!

Admission prices are reasonable, and who doesnt love unlimited samples of iced tea, and lemonade, icecream on a hot day. Vistors have a choice between one scoop, two scoop, or three scoop attraction. I choose one scoop; hilights of my visit- learning history of Turkey Hill, process of icecream being made, creating a virtual icecream flavor, watching the production , live from interactive camera in one of the exhibits. Be sure to take the few moments, to watch the introduction video. My favorite ice cream sample flavors were Graham Slam & Blueberry Lemon Pound Cake. An attraction must, well visiting Lancaster, PA. My recommendation would be too sell a few more flavors that you offer , with unlimited tastings. My favorite was orange icedtea.
