My husband and I had a lovely sunset cruise on M/V Summer Breeze on a Saturday evening. We actually originally wanted an afternoon cruise, but by the time I went to actually book it, the time was sold out. So book early, however, the sunset cruise is definitely the way to go! I thought about how the cruise would have been minus the sunset, and it would have been ok; however, the sunset was gorgeous, so I highly recommend that time slot. The cost, I believe was $16 per person, and drinks are available on board (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic). The cruise length is 2 hours and goes up the Susquehanna River and then back down to the Susquehanna Inlet where the river meets the Bay. The captain was friendly and eager to talk about the high points of the sights along the river. Most parties were able to go without sharing a table (they are long tables), but my husband and I offered to share with another couple so they could also have access to the water views rather than sit in the interior. The pick up and drop off point is a short walk from the town center, but there is also a parking lot you can park in. Bathrooms are available in the parking lot as well as on the boat. I'd definitely recommend booking a cruise, especially the sunset cruise, if you are in Havre de Grace!

It was a beautiful day, and the evening was the perfect topper for a 2 hour dinner cruise. This…read moreparty boat was less than 5 min from us and we had tickets for the Italian dinner cruise with live entertainment. It did not disappoint. As we entered, the tables on the main deck were arranged to fit party groups of either 6 or 8 guests and a table for 2. The buffet food was arranged at the front of the dining area and the musician (acoustic guitar) next to it. He did a wonderful job of singing and playing both guitar and harmonica. Upstairs, they had tall tables with a few metallic stools. So happy the room was air-conditioned. Serve yourself was near immediate. Bar and drinks were upstairs on the observation deck. Soft drinks and tea were included. The accommodations up there were tall tables and a few metallic stools To the food: The assorted greens salad was fresh with your choice of salad dressings. Then rolls with real butter, followed with spaghetti with meatballs and a pasta with shrimp and parmesan, and chicken parm cutlets. Potato salad and a caprese salad of sliced mozzarella and tomatoes topped with a balsamic dressing. There was enough for seconds. Close to the end of the cruise, they brought out some desserts that looked like magazine quality. Cheesecake, chocolate layered cake, carrot cake, and lemon bars. All were very rich, and nothing was left. The staff could not have been nicer and very efficient. It's a really great crew. There is plenty of free parking. One note, this is not a wheelchair accessible due to a series of steps.

The tour we took was $25 per person. Picking up the tickets I preordered was easy. With boarding, no one told us when it was time to board though we were sitting at the dock, but we saw a group going and went along with them. Seating on the boat included an upper deck to enjoy the air; my family preferred the lower deck which was booth style. We found a booth together easily. There were large windows to look outside, but the narration was prerecorded and kind of quiet. Occasionally a crew member would chime in. The narration was always pointing out things on the starboard side, so keep that in mind. The interior seemed kind of outdated overall and most of the other people on the tour were on the elderly side, so it might cater more towards that audience. Overall, this was an okay tour of the harbor. The price was fine for what it was, but I wouldn't personally choose to do this tour again. I know there are other options that might be better through the company, so only speaking from my experience with what I described.

There really weren't any open areas to see the sunset, and the sun was already below the skyline when we were out on the water....The crew was great , but you get only 2 stars because, the sunset which was supposed to be the star of the show was really just a no show, and this was not because of the weather, it was because of the scheduling and the simple fact that where the boat traveled, there really was not an acceptable place to even view the sunset......
