Wow, this place has 23 different flavors of ciders to try, so there's something for everyone! My friend and I stopped in today and were blown away by the number of options. They offer $2 tastings and you can order as many as you like. We each selected 4 different ciders to try and really enjoyed them all. I'm typically not a cider drinker as I find most to be too dry for my liking, but the semi-sweet flavors really hit the spot for me. I tried the Slopeside (blackberry pear), Virginia Crush (orange vanilla), Red Velvet (vanilla raspberry) and Apple Pie and all were fantastic. This is a cute little dog friendly place with indoor and outdoor seating. Now that I have found ciders that I like, I'll definitely be back!

I am local but I continue to come to this place. So many variations of cider to choose from. If you can't find one, well I don't know . They have good service and even though it gets busy, I've never had anyone be short or rude. Several seating choices to code from outside in the sun, under the umbrellas or even inside. The food menu does not disappoint either. They even have breakfast !!!

Cute, decorative design at Coyote Ciderworks.

I had no idea of the variety in ciders. There was chocolate cider, granny cider, gingerbread cider, and many more. The place was packed when we arrived. We had heard great things about Coyote Hole Ciderworks and looked forward to trying the many varieties of cider. Some were better than others. I really liked their giant, fresh, warm pretzels. The nacho cheese dip was delicious. And, last, but certainly not least....the cider flavored donuts were fabulous. They were soft, warm, sweet, and scrumptious! You get your cider flight and you get a buzzer, for when your food is ready. The picnic tables were not the most comfortable, so next time, we will look for the tables and chairs. There is live music on occasion. The place is cute and our cider assistant was very sweet and friendly. We would definitely return, if we were in the area. Thanks Mike, for the recommendation.

Ciders: 3 stars Atmosphere: 5 stars Service: 5 stars Me and my friend did a tasting of all of their ciders. You can get these fantastic little taster cups for about 2 bucks a piece, and they have the whole set up for these little square metal trays with laminated cards that list out the somewhat insane amount of ciders they carry. There were 22 ciders on that tray, and then 2 specialty ciders they had outside of their normal offerings, so we tried in total 24 ciders lol. I did not drive home - keys were handed immediately after the tasting to a friend who wasn't drinking. I mean... I LOVE the variety. Don't get me wrong. But after tasting a good lot of them, it just begs the idea that they should probably focus on making a smaller selection of excellent ciders than a surprisingly large selection of ciders that are a bit sub par. My favorite amongst all of the ciders was a cider called Santa's Cookies I believe. There a couple of other somewhat enjoyable ciders... but most unfortunately tasted a bit too watery for my liking. That said, they do have wines available and I could easily see myself going back and indulging in some wine while enjoying the expansive outdoor patio that is lined with firepits. You pay to get the firepit going and then can purchase more wood after the fire dies down. It's very reasonably priced. The service was also super great. The woman who helped us was kind as kind could be. A huge shout out to the giant soft pretzel I got too. The perfect pairing in my opinion for pretty much any alcohol. I gave the business 4 stars because I would go back - no question. Yes... I wasn't a huge fan of most of the ciders... but I was a fan of a few. Also, they have other drinking options as well and service and food (my pretzel) was stellar. Sitting around a firepit and chatting with friends on a beautiful day while tasting ciders was my idea of a perfect Saturday. We even made little judging sheets and rated the ciders 1-5 stars as we went through the more than 2 dozen we tried. I absolutely loved my visit, and the ciders not being to my taste could just be a bit of personal preference. In fact, one of my friends who came ended up taking home 2 6-packs of cider, so I know for her it definitely was.

A great cidery in Lake Anne, that also sports some good food, oversized games outside, and let us bring our dog. We tried the Sister Sangria (not a winner), the Green Apple, the Oma Smith, and the Coyote HPA (a hopped cider), ultimately leaving with 4-packs of the Coyote HPA and the Oma Smith. Our family enjoyed the flatbread pizza, wings and grilled cheese as well. If it was not so darn hot, we would have hung out a lot longer outside and played some giant Jenga and Connect 4, but maybe next time.

Such a cool place! We were out in the area for a motorcycle rally and this proved to be a fun ride out. The place is packed with options for outdoor seating, games, and indoor seating as well. We went early in the day and we had the place basically to ourselves which was nice. We could see how on a nice weekend it would get packed. We tried an assortment of ciders and they were all delicious. We chowed down on the amazing pretzel which is a must have and shareable. The donuts were a delight as well!

They have creative and fun flavors. Even though not all of them were quite my taste, I still enjoyed the experience. It's a little expensive for what you get, though.

Coyote Hole Craft Beverages is a stand out at Lake Anna. Excellent variety of fresh ciders and now expanding to wee Mineral Minerals Brewing they have a balanced offering of cider, local wines and creating some exciting new brewskis! The kitchen is offering a nice assortment of flat Breads, salads, subs and pizza with brunch on Saturday & Sundays. Friendly crew, ample seating inside and out, an events room and an assortment of local talent, karaoke, line dance, and entertainment!. Lots to enjoy!

My first visit to Coyote Hole Ciderworks was late on a Sunday afternoon. I ordered a tasting flight of all their ciders - 9 in all for that day: Roasted (6.5% ABV) (3.25 stars on Untappd) Apparition (6.9% ABV) (2.75 stars on Untappd) Bel-Hole (6.5% ABV) (3.25 stars on Untappd) Oma Smith's (6.9% ABV) (4 stars on Untappd) Red Velvet (6.5% ABV) (2.25 stars on Untappd) HPA (6.9% ABV) (2 stars on Untappd) Ciderita (5.4% ABV) (2 stars on Untappd) Sangria (5.6% ABV) (2 stars on Untappd) Sister Sangria (5.6% ABV) (2.25 stars on Untappd) In general, across the board, I found most of the ciders at Coyote Hole - to be too sweet for my palate. I prefer crisper, dryer ciders. My absolute favorite though - was the Oma Smith's cider. I really felt like the Apples in this cider were the star - and it was not as sweet as the others. The ambiance of Coyote Hole Ciderworks is really cool. I like the venue - and the folks were super nice. I expect to come back and try the ciders again - next time - with a group of friends, as well as try out the food! #CoyoteHoleCiderworks

When we're at Lake Anna, we love to stop by for food and drinks outdoors +/- trivia. The soft pretzel was a big hit; the nachos comes with a LOT of chips. Their ciders are so creative and diverse that you're sure to find a flavor or two that speak to you and every drinker on your gift list. Personally, I like the Oma Smith's green apple cider and the Cider Margarita. I don't recommend trying to drink an entire flight by yourself, however, as I and multiple family members have failed at that. Better to get a flight to share with 2-4 people and then take home a couple cans of everybody's favorite(s).

Found a gold mine in Mineral! I know, this is a really teeny town with not much happening but keep digging and you will strike the mother lode! What a gem of a hot spot. You may have to travel down some country caverns of road to find it, but isn't all treasure worth searching for! This barn is rockin' for sure! CHC is such a cool place! We were looking for a winery but we ended up finding this cindery! Driving in we spied a big ole barn and heard a rock band playing some tunes. The parking lot is huge and the place started filling up fast! We smelled the tantalizing aroma of smoked bbq embracing our noses as we went inside. We hadn't been to a cidery before but we bellied up to the bar looking a little lost and a perky, sweet bartender named Elle came to our rescue. She briefed us on the various ciders they offered and suggested the flight of nine ciders. Generous pours of about 5 oz. of cider were served in nine cups on a galvanized tray and a description of each one followed. My hubby like the "hoppy" one the best, while I liked the chai tea blended cider, the one with Rosé and the lemon/lime blend. Sitting on chairs at a wrought iron table, we soaked in the views. Many of the tables had umbrellas for shade, but there were also lots of picnic tables outside and some bar tables inside with awesome barstools. From our vantage point we saw the huge movie screen which Elle told us about. They have movie night at dusk, Top Gun was playing that night, and she said to check the website for upcoming previews! What a great idea! We also watched some guys playing corn hole and everyone seemed to be having a blast. We couldn't resist the wafting scents of the meats from the grill. 191 Smokery was on duty feeding an appreciative crowd. We ordered the pulled pork barbecue with Cole slaw and the sliced brisket. The sandwiches were hearty, the sides were tasty (except the Mac n' cheese was bland), and the sauces were tangy and delicious! The food complemented the ciders well and we were in hog heaven! Did I mention the awesome Rolling Stones cover band Cherry Red that was cranking out some great tunes? From "Going to a Go Go" to "Miss You" these guys played the gamut! This cool tribute band added another layer of enjoyment to this groovy hang! You will definitely get some satisfaction when you come to Ciderworks and time will be on your side! Start me Up because I know we will be back in-cider soon!! Now "More cow bell!"

Feb, 2026. Louisa, VA. My husband and I visited Roma Italian Restaurant on a Saturday for lunch;…read morethis was our first visit to this restaurant. We were greeted quickly, and shown to our booth seats quickly. We asked (and were accommodated) to move over one booth as the original booth had a speaker with loud music directly over our heads. Food (3.5/5). We would be sharing our entrees, so I ordered a Mediterranean Salad ($11.95) to balance out my husband's heavier choice of the Tour of Italy ($21.95). The latter was described as a plate with lasagna, manicotti, cannelloni, and a shell, with meat sauce and baked cheese, served with a homemade roll and your choice of soup, salad, or French fries. The large oval plate arrived with three pieces of tubular pasta and a slice of lasagna covered with sauce and melted cheese (but no filled shell). The tubular pasta pieces were filled with a variety of meat and/or cheese fillings. Overall, the taste was very good; we especially liked the meat-filled pasta. However, the consistency of two of the pastas were very dry and were lightly cracking and the size of the lasagna slice was on the smaller side. My husband selected the French fries as his side; they were excellent -- and were served hot and crispy before the rest of the meal. As mentioned, I ordered the Mediterranean salad, which was described as having mixed greens, tomato, feta, green and black olives, onions, and mushrooms, with choice of dressing. I was already surprised that a Mediterranean salad wouldn't have cucumbers and garbanzo beans, but was even more surprised when the salad arrived with cold cuts (salami, pepperoni, ham) and mozzarella cheese slivers (and no feta). It resembled more of a chef salad (sans the eggs) than the Mediterranean one described on the menu. Upon asking the waitress if this were a Mediterranean salad, she went back to the kitchen where she was assured that it was. I am not a vegetarian, but some family members are, and this would've been a big problem if served to them. Overall, the salad was okay but I WAS disappointed by the substitution of mozzarella cheese for the feta, the use of canned mushrooms in lieu of fresh, and by the lack of some ingredients (cucumbers, garbanzo beans) that generally are associated with a Mediterranean salad. On the positive side, the salad dressing, served separately, was homemade and tasty. [The restaurant makes seven varieties of dressing which are available for purchase for $7.95 for a pint]. Overall, the portions were generous (except for the lasagna piece) and we took home leftovers to eat tomorrow. Service (3/5). Our waitress was sweet and tried to be helpful, but it seemed that she was rather new and not sufficiently trained. For instance, she had to return to the front of the restaurant to find out what the specials of the day were, and couldn't answer some questions about what entrees would be served with. There was free and plentiful parking in the strip mall's lot. Access was easy off E. Main Street. We will return again, likely to try their pizza and cheesesteaks.

The servers were pleasant and responsive, albeit untrained on the menu or the happy hour specials. Two of them were quick to point out it was their first day and didn't know anything. Our server was clearly experienced but also on her first day, so she was unfamiliar with the menu. She was not aware that a menu item was unavailable, finding out only after she submitted our order to the kitchen, prompting my partner to quickly choose an alternate entree. Clearly the staff has not been properly trained by the management, or even given tastes of the entrees. If a restaurant is going to charge upwards of $35 for an entree, at least teach the staff what the items are and how they might taste. The food itself was average. My partner's alternate choice of fish and chips had a small fish portion encased in a massive fried shell of batter. It looked ridiculous. My sirloin steak au poivre was pretty tasty though. I would've enjoyed a bit more sauce and seasoning on the steak. but I enjoyed it nonetheless. However, I was very disappointed in the experience overall.
