This is a wonderful place out in the country I highly recommend it. it's absolutely relaxing and refreshing to be out in the open field they have picnic tables they have a screened in porch they have lots of different seating arrangements for the inside or the outside. if you're looking for something that's different and not in the city but out in the country this is the place to go they even have homemade pizza which we didn't get any but I heard it's really good. It's like the fire stone Pizza. Inside the screened in porch they can accommodate large groups. They have lots of seating and large tables. great place for a girls day and night out or a bridal shower things like that. They also have a small band too for background music. It's wry family friendly with chickens roaming freely and you can buy fresh eggs too. Check them out you won't be disappointed. read more

Fantastic place with a wide variety of ciders to choose from. Ciders were more on the dry rather than sweet side. Food options are a little limited (appetizers/ finger food) but what is served is really good. You will want to order more. Primarily outdoor seating with a large covered patio with plenty of fans for hotter days. They also have many other tables with umbrellas around a music gazebo. Live music is great. Service was fantastic - very friendly. Good for families, including small children, as they also serve non alcoholic beverages. read more

I've given this location of Courthouse Creek two chances before reviewing. Things I do like: there's not a ton of options out in Goochland so this is great, and their outdoor space is really nice. The negatives: I've done flights, tried friends drinks, and ordered ciders- and haven't found a single thing I liked, or that I didn't struggle to get down. The service we've had has been completely hit or miss. We got ignored one time, then had a great server pick us up after that incident, and the most recent time just seemed like they didn't want to be there. Probably will not be back read more

This place was recommended on a new-to-Richmond site, and we were not disappointed. It's a GF dream! Lovely ciders, and the food is really stellar. I especially appreciated the gf focaccia bread and the cheesecake I'm going to crave regularly from here on out. The service is a bit different - very serve-yourself, but the staff were very helpful in answering our questions about the cider process, ingredients, and making sure we were satisfied. Cider is very good, appreciate no added sugars. One negative and it's pretty big for a young family. Food portions are disturbingly small for the price. $12 brunch entree was the size of a side and there was no side.... $30 charcuterie board was tasty but again very small for $30 and did not come with everything their IG post said it would. What a lovely farm! This place is great for small and large groups alike, including families and pets! While there is a tasting room outpost in Scott's Addition, I recently came here for the Harvest Party. After about 30 minutes of driving time, we were met with some good ciders. We ended up getting two flights, grabbed a picnic table outside, and enjoyed the warm weather. The ciders overall are not sweet and more on the dry side; our first flight was heavily dry, as we requested. We got the Black Twig, Amuse Bouche, Blackberry Lavender, Bella Vita, and one more. Our favorites were the Bella Vita and Black Twig. The flight is a wooden tray with 5 small glasses plus a bowl of seasoned walnuts and almonds. Our second flight had the Goumies Never Die, Strawberry Bellini, Mixed Berry Bellini, Hoppy Girl, and Shiitake Happens. These were all more up my alley, especially the bellini options! We had a great experience here talking with the people behind the bar and learning more about the ciders. Each cider has a distinct flavor, and now I am interested in visiting the Scott's Addition location. Bottom line: Make the drive out here to enjoy some cider on a fun patio! read more

Courthouse Creek Cider is one of my absolute favorite cideries. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The cider is delicious (I highly suggest getting a flight.) I absolutely love the location. It's such a relaxed atmosphere and a lot of fun to just hang out and have some cider. Even better when you get to see all the farm animals. read more

In my opinion, there are a few things a cidery can do to separate themselves from others who simply push glorified spiked juice boxes. Courthouse Creek Cider does them all. They don't add sugars, they don't filter out all the tasty sediment, and each variety has its own bold, complex and different flavors. They also hold regular interesting classes like how to grow mushrooms on toilet paper rolls. We especially liked their new release made with lavender. The staff/owners are friendly and knowledgeable. The grounds and tasting room are pleasant, including the free range fowl. read more

Farmhouse, rustic style, dry ciders with no added sugar! Super impressed by these ciders. The tasting room just opened on the 18th of March. It's cute, a little small but dog friendly! Tastings are $10 for about 4-5 ciders. It's family run and super personal. Really enjoyed our visit here! There's a small patio outside and they have chickens and duck on site. We first came across Courthouse Creek Cider at the Forest Hill Farmers Market. Have seen them there twice and liked their dry cider. Made more for wine drinkers in our opinion. Decided to head out to their facility in Maidens VA. Definitely worth the trip. All of their Ciders were delicious. And the Shandy offered on a hot day really hit the spot. We ended up joining their Cider club which provides free tastings and 20% off. All you have to do is agree to purchase four Ciders through out the year. This place is worth a visit. The owners and staff are really nice too. We recommend you make the 20 minute or so drive to visit Courthouse Creek Cider. read more

We just left this place. Website said it opened at 11am, so we planned our day around that. We walked in and were kicked out saying they didn't open until 1pm & they had a private party going on. There are 7 of us. They missed out on some good business. I give it2 stars because it looks like a cute place. read more

Awesome environment and super friendly staff. The cider isn't the typical super sweet or artificial tasting stuff you get from more main stream hard cider makers. If you are in to local craft beer as I am you'll appreciate what they have to offer. The heretic was my favorite. If you're on the sour train, the samurai sour was also pretty good. read more

The farm is so incredibly gorgeous and is in a great part of Goochland. The moment you walk through the door you feel very welcomed. The cider wasn't a bad price and definitely had a wide range of flavors. Highly recommend to others passing through the area! read more
