Nice secluded spot to relax and have a drink. I stumbled across this brewery today and decided to stop in. It's located at the rear of an industrial park. It has indoor and outdoor seating. I was able to try a sample before deciding on the lemongrass hefeweizen, which was very refreshing. I'd definitely stop by if I'm in the area again.

THIS place has a really nice space, parking outside and seating inside and outside. Pretty popular on a Friday afternoon/evening and they were gearing up to have some live music as we were leaving. Smells super hoppy in there so I didn't love that, but at least the beer selection wasn't all ipas. I really enjoyed my pilsner and my husband enjoyed a sour.

Loveeee this brewery! My boyfriend and I are brewery fanatics and we have high standards. Kindred definitely exceeded our expectations. The overall style and atmosphere was awesome. Staff was friendly, quick and attentive. And the beer was delicious. They had a good variety of beer styles and every one we tried were great (two IPA's, a double IPA and the brown ale). Both the indoor and outdoor areas are spacious with plenty of seating. It is near Hardywood which is also a great brewery but we definitely prefer a setting like Kindred. It was less crowded and more laid back. They had a food truck (although we didn't eat there) and a band was setting up. Oh and the best part is they allows dogs inside and out. We will definitely be back!

A surprisingly cool brewery in a surprising location. You pull into an office park and drive around back to find Kindred Spirit at the end of the building. It's a little weird place for a brewery, but it worked. People were sitting outside on the cozy patio and there were a few wrought iron tables out front. It's smaller than a lot of other breweries in the area. They had a food truck parked right there which was a convenient touch! Inside is richly decorated with hardwood floors, deep green paint, twinkle lights and wooden barrels. There's plenty of seating, a game area and a view of the brewery. The place was buzzing with excitement! A fun friendly spot where people are convivial and pets are welcome! We ordered our beers, we got a flight and a few glasses of brew. Mine was the Paradise and it was crisp, light and refreshing. The bar tender was a bit condescending, snarky and sarcastic which put me off, but I was in a good mood so I rolled with it! (Word to the wise: smart ass = lame tip). My beer went well with the chicken fingers and fries we ordered from the food truck. And that guy who owned the truck was super friendly and chatted us up! My hubby thought his flight of beers was really good liked the dark stout the best. This is a chill relaxing spot that I'd hop to again! And I love the name, Kindred Spirit!

Kindred Spirit is a brewery without hype. It's confident in its own skin, produces quality brews, and has a loyal following. I'm glad I finally made my way out to the brewery a couple weeks ago. It's out near the new Hardywood location in the back of a random industrial park down the road. I visited late at night, about half an hour prior to closing, so I didn't take advantage of the outdoor area, nor did I take my time sipping beers. I ordered a flight (yay, a brewery that offers flights!), took in the sights, and headed out a few minutes before they shuttered for the night. It was still pretty hopping at that time. Most of their beers are great, but I most prefer the strawberry milkshake and the "Boyzen Da Hood" boysenberry sour (which I had several months ago...not sure if it's still available seasonally). Not sure how often I'll stop in since I dislike driving...but it's a worthy spot to check out if you're visiting the area.

Oh how I've missed going to breweries. This is such a nice chill spot. Usually have food trucks that park outside and live music on some nights. There is indoor and outdoor seating as well as the grotto out amongst the trees. Great beer selection here. I did t get many photos, but will add next time I'm here. Inside they had a small stage for live music.

This really is a pretty place but the beer is just so so. My husband and I decided to venture out on a Sunday afternoon to have a couple of beers. We were considering going downtown but decided to give Kindred Spirit a try. The staff was super nice. I was checking out their options and they encouraged me to taste a few options. I ended up having a stout. My husband had a double IPA. He liked his IPA and I liked the stout but it was watery, a lightweight stout. We'd come back again for sure since it's so close. I'm sure they'll keep improving over time. Definitely worth the trip.

    Great outdoor space.

Very big plus is our beers were half off because we also stumbled upon happy hours. The whole place was pretty big, and had a good arcade section. For their arcade, you have to use a card that you buy credits on to. In our opinion, the games were a little expensive. I think it's more directed towards parents who want to drink and offload their kids in this area, but for those of us already spending a good amount on drinks, the price on the games kinda sucks. We're used to a cover for all you can play or something a little more affordable. They do have a lot of great, newer games. It definitely kept us entertained for a while. They also had a great variety. It was pretty empty when we got there a little after lunch, but by 4pm or so it started raining and they were PACKED. The drinks were good, nothing special. A couple draft cocktails that tasted like you would expect. Some good beer options. It's a great spot in the area, huge bar area that can fit a lot of people and a really great patio.

Their "build-your-own" flight setup is genius--you choose anywhere from 2 to 10 tasters, and pricing is based on the beer you pick. Each one is clearly labeled on the menu at the bar, making it super easy to mix, match, and share. My boyfriend and I grabbed a couple each and built our own "couples flight." Highly recommend this approach if you're rolling deep with friends--rounds for the win! Now the beer. The Mango Gose was light and fruity without the pucker-punch, and the Cherry Cobbler Sour was refreshingly chill with just a little tang. But the real MVP? The Lucky Charms marshmallow beer. YES, it was bright green. YES, it smelled like it should be in a cereal bowl. And YES, it tasted like childhood nostalgia with a buzz. I was skeptical... and then I was converted. My boyfriend enjoyed several IPAs and gave them two enthusiastic hops up. Food-wise, no kitchen here--but they rotate food trucks/food setups, which keeps things fresh. They also offer the cutest little snack jars--1 for $2 or all 3 for $5. Just enough to crave that sweet (or salty) tooth! Gummy worms, M&Ms, trail mix... it's giving snack bar meets brewery energy, and I'm into it. The space is big inside with an eclectic, funky vibe (some weird wall decor, but we'll call it personality), and a solid outdoor area with long beer garden tables. Plenty of room to sip, snack, and stay a while. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I day drink the day away here if I had more time? Without hesitation. Just shy of five stars because it's missing food on-site consistently, but the drinks, snacks, and vibe totally make it worth the visit. Lucky Charms beer forever.

Staff didn't seem thrilled to have three kids at the brewery, but alas.
