Very affordable for such lovely modern glassware for the holidays. I don't know what happened to the review I wrote of this place last year I guess it got eat by the matrix. Anyhoo, this is the closest Williams-Sonoma to moi & where all of my family shops. And there are 4 chefs in our family, so quite often. Dad bought a new house nearby so he is the closest to the Williams-Sonoma store now. I'm so jelly! He has now purchased a bread maker LOL Anyway, I love this Williams-Sonoma store for the kitchen tools & mixing bowls. I have several sets of mixing bowls I bought last year & I especially love my set of graters. Cheese, butter, chocolate, nutmeg, carrots, cabbage, I'm always grating something haha. I wear them completely out quickly, like I said I'm a grater haha. So I need new ones often. Anyway, the holidays are here! So I now need more wine glasses! Love the Schott Zwiesel Glasses & need some other styles now for moi perfect Elegant Southern style holiday table. So festive! Will return & often. Recommend.

More than the shopping, I appreciate the local pop-up features and classes offered at this Williams Sonoma location! I've recently stopped in to see and make purchases from two of my favorite local makers-- Guncles Gluten Free Bakery and The Paige Collection. I'm attending a cocktail making class tonight with Amanda, of the Lemon Baby blog and I'm stoked! This WS is, by far, the best!

While I was still in Chicago, my wife started a dialogue with Tom, a very very nice representative from Chavis. Chavis was the only one who had the Speed Queen washer/dryers we needed, and Tom knew that, and was super friendly and accommodating. He warned me that I would have to order them as soon as possible once in Alabama, because, like everything, it would be delayed due to supply chain problems. It only took a month to order them and get them here, but by the 4th week we were swimming in dirty laundry. I sent Tom an email and told him this, and he squeezed me in for a faster delivery and installation. Not only was Tom professional and incredibly helpful, talking to me before I'd even shown up here in Alabama, but he was super helpful even after the sale, helping my wife pick out the right appliances for future purchases. All of this was sight unseen. I've never met Tom in person, and we've not even been to the store yet. Tom did all of this through a very lengthy, very friendly email exchange. I'm so thankful for Tom, because in a place where it's hard to even get a plumber or HVAC tech to come out, Tom hooked us up with some very hard-to-find appliances surprisingly quickly. He was also very funny, and very personable, cracking jokes and making a very tough move easier before we'd even gotten here. I just can't thank Tom and Chavis enough. You have a life-long customer in me.

In addition to delivery, they hauled off the old appliances. Previously, we had bought our appliances from Sears, Home Depot, and Lowe's. Chavis Furniture (and Appliances) made forever loyal customers out of us and we live on the Eastern Shore. Worth the drive from anywhere.

Southeastern Salvage sells everything from tile and wood flooring, to granite, to kitchen cabinets, islands, sinks and vanities, to things like furniture, curtains, rugs and decor. I bought a hammock swing for like $28, which is a steal. I also bought a couple of small woven rugs for $1 each. Stores like this are paradise for me. I seriously recommend checking it out if you're looking for anything for your house.

I contacted the manager, Junior. I asked about a warranty. His response was I can bring it back. My husband and I are in our 50s. We physically cannot pick it up and move it. Our sons had left to go home in other states. I had to file for repair request on the year warranty for something we had less than 30 days. And when the repairman came, he told us the fan was broke and the door was bent. He came back a week later to fix the fan and physically push the door frame back in. However, he said it will eventually stop working because it is too damaged. I spent $700+ on a fridge that is basically useless because it will eventually stop working. Yes, they can sell inventory that is damaged, like having dents. But, the item still has to work. I'm going to request my money back or a replacement (new) at their expense. I wanted to give others a heads up. IF you buy something from these people, make certain it actually works.
