I asked for it to be glued down, tiles selected had instructions for gluing but they were not followed. I was not told during the project the installer was not gluing them down per instructions until the project was done. I am now having to consider replacing it since the floor pops and snaps when we walk on it. I also just discovered that when the trim they removed was replaced the caulk used was kitchen caulk (not paintable) so I had to scrape it off and redo it.

It was around 1000 sq ft job in total and it took him and his team 3.5 days to finish. Carlos is very responsive, shows up on time, and even helped my wife and I in a pinch by moving a piece of furniture from the store to our place with his van at no cost. The best part is that his cost was less than HALF the cost of what we were quoted by other larger (albeit more reputable) companies! If you're looking for someone to do the job right without having to pay the premium of a larger company (which a good chunk of your money goes to pay for their sales/operations overhead), this is the way to go.

Disappointing rush job didn't turn out great. The owner said it would take 4 days to sand, stain…read moreand seal the main floor so we made plans to stay out of town during that time - since this isn't a project that you can stay at home for. The crew finished in 1 day +2 hours the next day. They didn't mask off our new kitchen cabinets (or anything else) as they were supposed to so everything was covered in sanding dust. They left in a hurry without locking up the house. The front door was propped open with the key in the deadbolt and all of the lights left on. They left tools and trash inside and outside the house. The owner was apologetic afterwards but accepted zero responsibility for his crew. You might think they would check to make sure everything was done correctly before letting us know they were finished, but apparently there is no quality control. There are several areas that look bad - ripples across the floor, stain on the carpeting, a splotch of stain in the hallway and a long hair sealed into the kitchen floor. We will have to hire someone else to fix these areas since we can't trust this company to be in our house.

The estimate was spot on and the work time was before the estimated time. Perfect. We were really impressed and appreciate how committed Brendan was with the craft and precision. We were concerned with the idea of the dust from the job, but they were spot on in saying it would be a dustless job. No heavy plastic barriers or limited access, yet also no cleaning after on our part. Once the job was finished, everything was as clean before it began and we had a new improved floor! Pricing was a great value for what we will enjoy for the coming decades. Brendan also was kind to us and our kids making it an easy call in the future. We won't call anyone else.

Countertops, backsplash, paint, popcorn ceiling removal, new metal stair rails, a full bathroom remodel, and they even turned an old coat closet into a pantry for us. Everything came out exactly how I pictured it. Pricing was fair, they stayed pretty close to schedule, and the work itself is just solid, quality stuff. They also went above and beyond on a few extra asks along the way, no complaints, Honestly hard to find someone this good across so many different types of work. Would hire them again in a second and recommend them to anyone who needs stuff done right.

It included engineered hardwood and porcelain tile flooring, Nuage slab counters everywhere, sinks, faucets, toilets... We did use outside electricians and painters, which we were told had to wait an entire week while the hardwood floors guy did his thing. I was texted a message by A Flores himself that the dude would straight up walk off the job if anyone else were there at the same time, even if they weren't interfering with his work. Because of this person's refusal to play nice with others, we had to stay in a hotel an additional week while the other work (baseboards, painting) got finished. I can't give five stars to this business, even though the owner is EXTREMELY clear when communicating and he'll never leave your messages hanging, waiting for a response. I did not like being responsible for buying/picking every single thing (sinks, faucets, a ton of flooring, caulk color) and it would've been nice to have had higher quality suggestions made so that I didn't feel I had to find my own materials. They did a great job on our niche, which has thinks like rounded ceramic tiles instead of the vile shluter thing that they had been planning on doing. There was also quite an issue with getting a double full bullnose edge to the counters: I assumed they were going to do that but they basically nickel and dimed us to get it the way we wanted. Lesson: be extremely careful when your project has a lot of moving parts (and people).

He also installed new MDF for the stair risers (not painted yet in photo since they don't handle painting). Floor has no creaks in the rooms/hallway and looks beautiful. Pricing was fair and the best I could find in the area, and they were good about removing the costs for anything I handled myself (I removed old carpet and LVP, etc.) even though there were a handful of staples I wasn't able to pull myself from the stair risers. Just one word of warning, make sure you measure your floor space yourself--their measurements for the work were off by about 50 square feet, which would have made a big difference in the number of boxes of material I had to purchase. I think this was probably accidental from them including the bathrooms but given that _every_ floorer I spoke to provided inaccurate estimates it's best to just do the measuring/math yourself.
