But I had heard great things about Winchester Electrology & Laser and I was finally committed to the idea of getting rid of my unwanted eyebrow hair forever. (And because you can't use laser that close to your eyes...electrolysis seemed like the only logical alternative. I was so ready to retire from my lifetime of plucking & preening!) Paula is wonderful - not only is she knowledgeable but she's kind, patient & always fun to talk to. On my first visit, she took the time to explain the whole process to me & what kind of timeline we were probably looking at. She could sense I was a little nervous when I asked her how much it would hurt. So she sweetly offered to do a quick trial session just so I could see if I thought it was something I could handle. (I could!) It's definitely a commitment but one that is so worthwhile. To be freed from my tweezers has been blissful. Now I have beautifully shaped eyebrows that I never have to worry about. I'm at the point in the process where I only go in for an occasional touch up...but eventually even that won't be necessary. Very happy!

As most saw from the reviews, everyone is orphaned out of their treatments because the business decided to move without informing the clients; this move has taken over a month and a half and no information has been released. What is worse is the people who bought prepaid services (like me) were really left high and dry. Raya is amazingly wonderful, she's so cheerful and professional and very educated on matters of laser. As an Armenian, it's comforting to know there is a woman (also Armenian!) that understands our genetic disposition on hair growth. I am a veteran when it comes to laser hair removal and she's by the far the most skilled at making me feel comfortable. Her prices are fair and organized and her dedication is remarkable to her craft as she is the only person running RG ProLaser. I truly look forward to returning here for the rest of my treatments and starting new ones all over! She is a hidden gem in Arlington and I can't stress enough for people to visit her (especially if you're stuck now thanks to Elite Med Spa!!)

Subtracting two stars because Raya was completely distracted during most of our appointments. She seem like she had something else she needed to be doing, and she just needed to get our appointment over with. On one occasion, she stopped doing the laser treatment right in the middle and took a long phone call from her interior decorator. On another occasion, she took a call immediately after we were done and didn't even say goodbye to me as I was leaving. It's not a spa and I'm not expecting star treatment, but at least save the decorating emergencies for after the treatment is over. I recently called her to get a follow up, and she never even called me back. I should have pretended to be her decorator, and then I would've gotten a call back right in the middle of her treating a client! Fortunately, I found another place, so I won't be going back.

Hair on my face that has been driving me insane for years is now almost completely gone! I am so glad I finally made the investment in myself -- already I feel rejuvenated, more confident, and happier when I look in the mirror. Sonika is absolutely delightful as an aesthetician. She is extremely professional, knowledgeable about her craft, personable, and sensitive to her clients needs. She is also exceptionally kind and careful, and always makes you feel comfortable (especially when treating areas that can be somewhat painful, like the upper lip.) She also does great work threading brows. I had mine done for the first time by her and absolutely loved the result -- I don't think I'll ever go back to plucking now! If you are thinking about starting hair removal treatment, I encourage you to take the plunge and go for it! You won't be disappointed with Sonika's work. I trust her completely!

And the results are great, I've gotten over 90% of my hair gone in the areas of application. Highly recommend using A-One if you're considering hair removal!

Rachael knows what she's doing and after some time with consistent sessions, this was no longer something I had to worry about anymore! I only see her now once every 1.5 to two years for touchup maintenance, when a few new hairs pop up or for long blonde hairs. Which actually kind of sucks because I miss seeing Rachael, but she did such a good job, I don't need to see her much anymore. I also received Laser hair removal from her mother. She also did a great job and made me feel very comfortable doing my leg and bikini area. I recommend Rachael to friends with burgeoning facial hair, but some people want to take the "easy" way out and wax (which will only make the hair grow thicker and stronger) rather than invest in a permanent solution. You need to ask yourself-- what is more important? Those shoes, those nails, or getting rid of that facial hair you convince yourself nobody notices? Invest in finite solutions. I am proof that with educated technique, Electrology is a real & permanent remedy for unwanted facial hair.

I didn't see any wheelchair accessibility for a second floor. I had to walk upstairs. Maybe there's an elevator but it's clearly not located anywhere or where anybody can see it lol. It felt... Corporate? High cell tactics a little pushy. The girl who met with me clearly, had super plump, her lips up with her plumping medication or gloss right before she met me, and made sure her skin looked absolutely flawless before she met with a potential client. It just seemed very hard, Cell. I decided that I would ask information, but I would not be using their services because she seemed kind of pushy about their membership. Mind you, I had made this appointment a while ago, but they had to change it because something had happened with her son that she needed to pick him up and couldn't stay in the office, so I graciously changed the date which was fine. That happens to everyone. She kept pushing at the appointment to start procedures that I had been inquiring about. I wasn't ready to do that. I needed to ruminate. And decide if I wanna move forward. All in all, I think if you want this type of service in a place that allows you a monthly membership, this might be for you, it was not for me.

I rarely leave one-star reviews, but after two separate experiences, I feel like this reflects a…read morepattern rather than a one-time mistake. The first incident happened during a Clear + Brilliant appointment. I was left sitting with numbing cream on my face for an entire hour before I finally went into the nurse's office to ask if I had been forgotten. She apologized, and while she was kind, I lost an hour of my time. I chose not to leave a review because I assumed she was simply overbooked, and I didn't want to blame an individual for what seemed like a scheduling issue. Unfortunately, today's experience confirmed that the problem is with LaserAway's organization. I arrived for my 11:00 a.m. appointment only to find out the clinic wasn't opening until noon because a nurse couldn't come in until later. The issue isn't that something unexpected happened--it's that no one communicated this to me beforehand. They admitted they should have notified me, but by then I had already driven there and rearranged my day. As an athlete, I can only schedule these treatments on my one day off each week because I can't work out for 24 hours afterward. Morning appointments are already extremely difficult to book, so having one wasted because of poor communication is incredibly frustrating. What disappoints me most isn't just the mistakes--it's how they're handled. Both times I received an apology, but there was no meaningful effort to make things right. Good customer service isn't about never making mistakes; it's about how you respond when you do. The only reason I continue coming here is because I prepaid for my treatments. Once I've used them all, I won't be returning. If you're looking for a place to start laser or skincare treatments, I would recommend choosing a local clinic that values your time and communicates with its clients. Based on my experience, LaserAway has been disorganized, unprofessional, and disappointing.
