I have been going to Melrose Electrology and Laser since 2013. In my early 30s I began getting dark hairs on my face from hormonal changes. Rachael knows what she's doing and after some time with consistent sessions, this was no longer something I had to worry about anymore! I only see her now once every 1.5 to two years for touchup maintenance, when a few new hairs pop up or for long blonde hairs. Which actually kind of sucks because I miss seeing Rachael, but she did such a good job, I don't need to see her much anymore. I also received Laser hair removal from her mother. She also did a great job and made me feel very comfortable doing my leg and bikini area. I recommend Rachael to friends with burgeoning facial hair, but some people want to take the "easy" way out and wax (which will only make the hair grow thicker and stronger) rather than invest in a permanent solution. I've been getting electrolysis for a decade now and have always had to go every 2 weeks, under the impression that it was always going to be part of my routine, like getting my nails done. Rachel is just how the reviews claim, very friendly and accommodating. She is by appointment only and you enter her building on the side entrance. The door can be finicky as it seemed locked when I arrived but opened up and by a miracle I didn't miss my appointment. She is mindful of her patients time but was also able to squeeze me in. She explained the process in a free consultation and assured me her probes are one-use and sterile. She wiped my skin down before starting. The process is mildly uncomfortable and I could feel my throat getting dry as my problem area was my chin. She then wiped the treated area with witch hazel and offered aloe Vera as well. I will certainly be back and am very glad I found her. Her pricing is reasonable and fair. She also complimented my outfit and I can tell she is a fashionista (admittedly or not) as well :) I would certainly recommend her to my friends and family. read more

Rachel knows what she is doing and YOU WILL GET RESULTS!. I tried laser (not good for the facial area) and then 2 different electrolysis over the years. And was not seeing results. Thought there was something wrong with me but wanted to try someone else just to see. Thank God i found Rachel at Melrose Electrology and laser Ctr. It wasnt me!!! Unlike others, Rachel knows EXACTLY how to do it. I was stunned when i first went and saw how many times she zapped just one hair (others zapped far far less) and how i didnt feel it when she used the tweezers to guide it out (NOT pull it out) . It wasnt painful. . She was upset at the condition of my skin {due to past treatments with heat to high and the digging at my ingrowns} and she felt bad that i have been going for years and throwing my money away. (my face looks normal now thanks to Rachel) i have only had less than 9 visits with Rachel and seeing results already.
