Legal Shred came to my rescue after a different shred company gave me a last minute cancellation…read more The stress of the cancelation was completely removed with my initial contact with Tara at the Legal Shred company. Legal Shred, Tara said, "is a family owned business" and she was horrified that I was left at the last minute. She immediately scheduled me for their 1st appointment and Miguel showed up 5 minutes early, did the job so efficiently and left NO mess behind. Their truck is really cool, you can see a video of the can dumping my papers in there and the shredder eating up the paper in several directions leaving nothing left unshredded. You wont be disappointed if you call them and schedule your job.1-914-595-1575 or 1-844-Shred00. Thank you, M Stockton

I called national archives and spoke to Brad who gave me an estimate over the phone. I was shocked at how reasonable their prices were. I scheduled a pick up a few days later and they came and took our 14 boxes from the basement without a problem and were so kind and courteous. 3 days later I got the certificate that all our documents had been shredded. My boss and I are so happy with how swiftly this process was and how affordable it was. We will definitely be using them in the future! Thank you!

You placed your documents into a plastic garbage can and then they loaded that into a truck. There were a bunch of things that you couldn't place into the truck like batteries. I was asked not to add red welds which makes sense because they are thick. I saw a man try to put some weird wet documents into the bin and he was asked to remove them because they could possibly cake up the shredding apparatus. Despite all of this, the representative from the company patiently assisted everyone with an upbeat spirit. My neighbors love that event and are very thankful for it. They love it so much. They always put it on my calendar. It is a great community service and the gentleman from USA Shred was patient, courteous and very helpful. If you are considering a public-facing shredding event or need to shred significant amounts of documents, this place is a good option!

Kenneth was the absolutely amazing Manager/driver/ rep/ worker who handled this entire process for us and made it completely stress free. He did a great job and was respectful of the premises and picked up everything. The truck was a one stop shop, grinder, rewinder and shredder just like the good ol' Ginsu knife from the 80's. The pricing was fantastic. I highly recommend the entire Yelp Community not only on Long Island but the tri state area to take advantage of this extraordinary stress and space relieving service.
