Instead, he simply asked that I bring donuts for his team, whom he clearly appreciates and treats with great respect! When I arrived, I was welcomed like family. You placed your documents into a plastic garbage can and then they loaded that into a truck. There were a bunch of things that you couldn't place into the truck like batteries. I was asked not to add red welds which makes sense because they are thick. I saw a man try to put some weird wet documents into the bin and he was asked to remove them because they could possibly cake up the shredding apparatus. Despite all of this, the representative from the company patiently assisted everyone with an upbeat spirit. My neighbors love that event and are very thankful for it. They love it so much. They always put it on my calendar. It is a great community service and the gentleman from USA Shred was patient, courteous and very helpful. If you are considering a public-facing shredding event or need to shred significant amounts of documents, this place is a good option!

I have never made so many phone calls to get a company to actually DO the job they are being paid to do. We typically have 10-15 96 gallon bins by Friday, which is our pick up day and either they don't show up or only able to service 2-3 bins when they do and so I typically have to follow up on Monday to get them to come in earlier in the week to complete the job. So dealing with them is a JOB in itself. BEWARE!! DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM. THEY ARE THE WORST OF THE WORST.

Obviously there is a problem with American Security Shredding, I don't know what their problem is exactly. They acted in a very unprofessional manner, confirming with me they would be at my location on a given day, and that they would call an hour in advance. They even sent me several (bizarre) emails, which were very weird, with multiple exclamation points. They demanded that I send back a confirmatory email, which I did. They also left at least two aggressive strange telephone messages. I had no argument with them, I never met them and yet I was being treated in a kind of aggressive, almost adversarial manner. So the day comes for the shredding, the time window I was given was 9am-5pm, no problem. Well I waited all day, had my shredding bags ready... no call, no show, no follow up, and no email... NOTHING!
