In the…read moreintervening 8 years, we have returned to TLS and have always received the same top-rated, excellent, professional, and efficient service. Same was true this week when we dropped off some items. Same 5-stars for congenial, friendly, polite attendant, Maria who served us. By the end of the day I received a text indicating that our items were ready. We picked them up clean, fresh, folded, wrapped in protective plastic....and at a very reasonable price. 5 again...for sure.

So it's Sunday July4th, I usually go during the week today I came on Sunday, what a mistake that was! So first let me say I went online to make sure the place would be open since it was The 4th of July. And it said it was open until 7:30! So my husband and I go in and start doing laundry get everything washed go over in the corner to Dry everything, mind you there are women all around us washing and drying cloths. So when I tell you how this went I mean word for word! So we are sitting by dryers playing with our phones drying last load when woman comes from around the wall " I don't know what y'all are doing but you have to leave I'm ready to go so y'all need to move it I'm ready to leave NOW!" My husbands eyes and my eyes are huge like why is this lady coming off like this!!! My husband said mama I'm sorry for the mistake we thought we had plenty of time because online it's says 7:3 doesn't even get the 7:30 all the way out of his mouth!! "I don't have no attitude and the hours are posted on the door" as she's walking away still yelling " The times on the door it's there plane as DAY!" I'm in shock !! My husband and I are always so nice and get along with everyone. So we hurry and just put the last of our wet close in a bag to hurry and get OUT! As we are walking out My husband says mama we really didn't do this on purpose we were going by time on line and people are still here washing. This woman SCREAMS "DON'T YELL AT ME BECAUSE I WILL GET AND ATTITUDE AND START YELLING I AINT HAVE NO ONE YELL AT ME" SHE JUST KEPT YELLING THE TIME IS RIGHT THERE PRINTED ON THE WINDOW ""I promise you on my son my husband was not yelling he was trying to diffuse the situation and say mama I'm sorry we didn't do it on purpose. She couldn't care less if we were customers! I said this is crazy as she's still yelling at my husband! I said I don't know in what world you think it's ok to talk to people like this but it's wrong and it's trash why would you act like this When it's really does say 7:30 online !! I hate it because I have to drive further to another laundry Matt but to not have to deal with her EVER AGAIN ITS WORTH IT!! I will say it's a clean nice laundry Matt that I've been glad to use and all the other employees are great just beware!!!

She was VERY rude to me. This is the first time I've gotten a pair of pants hemmed. I reached out…read moreto the owner to ask how much it would cost and she responded $15-20 and that I could come that day. When I arrived she stated that it would have to be paid in cash, this was not told to me beforehand, or else I would have come prepared. So, I went to the ATM to get $20 cash. When I returned to pick the pants up she then said no it's $30 because I was picking the pants up the same day. I told her I will have to wait to pick them up another day then because I only had $20, I offered to pay extra via Zelle or Venmo (even though she already said it would be no more than $20). She ended up YANKING the $20 out of my hand, handed me the pants and gave me a dirty look. I will never return to this alteration business. I hardly ever leave negative reviews, but I've never been treated this poorly. On the bright side, she did well on the pants, but I could have taken my business elsewhere and been treated with respect and kindness. It's so unnecessary to be mean to people, we're grown adults. Living in a hotel is tough, especially with two adults and two teenagers. After a week, our…read morelaundry had piled up and so we looked for a laundromat. Google & Yelp led us here. The normal size washers are $3.00 on normal wash with cold water (30 min cycle). The medium dryers are $1.50 to start for 30 mins. The large washers at the back are $7.00. The location is clean, it smells nice in here. There are the wheelie carts to move laundry, which I appreciate. The change machine seems to be in working order, though I didn't need to use it, there were plenty of people who were changing for quarters. There is also a Coke machine ($1.00), and a snack machine (various prices). We were here at 10:30am and most machines were in use. Everyone inside was nice and held doors for each other. There are 4 folding tables available. I put in two loads of the regular sized washers into one regular sized dryer. I put in the 6 quarters to start a 30 Minute cycle. At the end of 25 minutes, everything (including towels) was pretty much dry! I had set it on high heat, which is a normal temp setting on my home dryer, so it didn't shrink anything. I've never been to a laundromat where one 30 minute cycle was enough to dry it all! (Each quarter after that adds 5 minutes....just add them before it shuts off!)
