Then the assembly of the faucet started to fall apart. Tried to fix it myself many times since with little success. Finally today, while trying to attempt yet another repair (approaching a dozen now), the root cause was revealed. The main stem that _should_ have been screwed into the base of the faucet was never attached to the body of the faucet. It was giving him trouble when he was installing it, but apparently he was running short on time and left it as it was. Cosmetically it looked right, but functionally it could not stand up to daily use (kitchen sink is kind of the center of the kitchen, right?). I reassembled the faucet unit the best I could with hand tightening, so I expect that it will fall apart again soon, until I can get a specialty wrench that will reach the nut to finally make it tight. I'm not upset with Tim personally, but I did curse the day that he showed up (after many cancellations and delays) when the sink and faucet were installed. I'll not be using his services again, and will keep a sharp eye on future plumbers working on my home. I cannot recommend him as a plumber.

Kimberly worked hard for 4 hours to get to the source of the blockage, which ended up being on the city utility sewer side. She communicated with us throughout the work. The utility came and cleaned out the sewer main, blockage solved. In the process she discovered that our sewer clean out valve was buried about a foot down in our yard. She dug that out and placed a valve cover on it so we know where it is now (huge relief!). Kimberly was excellent and left everything in the house and yard clean, neat, and tidy. We highly recommend Paradise!!

We hired Paradise Home Services through The Home Depot to replace our water heater. During…read moreinstallation, the technician discovered the heating element on the brand-new unit was leaking. He attempted to fix it, said it was repaired, and then left our home. Before leaving, he also gave us written instructions on what to do if the water heater started leaking again. About 13 minutes after he left, the entire unit began leaking heavily and flooded our laundry room and garage. A technician should never leave a home with a newly installed unit that was already leaking during installation. If the unit was defective, it should have been replaced or shut off before leaving. The flooding required professional remediation and repairs. The company's insurance carrier ultimately accepted liability and paid for the damage, but the situation should never have happened in the first place. We also requested installation documentation during the claim process and had difficulty obtaining it. Very disappointing experience.
