Had Deale Plumbing install a kitchen sink to finish a kitchen remodel last year, and it look good…read morefor about 15 minutes after Tim left. Then the assembly of the faucet started to fall apart. Tried to fix it myself many times since with little success. Finally today, while trying to attempt yet another repair (approaching a dozen now), the root cause was revealed. The main stem that _should_ have been screwed into the base of the faucet was never attached to the body of the faucet. It was giving him trouble when he was installing it, but apparently he was running short on time and left it as it was. Cosmetically it looked right, but functionally it could not stand up to daily use (kitchen sink is kind of the center of the kitchen, right?). I reassembled the faucet unit the best I could with hand tightening, so I expect that it will fall apart again soon, until I can get a specialty wrench that will reach the nut to finally make it tight. I'm not upset with Tim personally, but I did curse the day that he showed up (after many cancellations and delays) when the sink and faucet were installed. I'll not be using his services again, and will keep a sharp eye on future plumbers working on my home. I cannot recommend him as a plumber.

Trace called me early Tuesday morning and said he could come first thing if that was OK. I told him come on. He arrived right at 8 am and had the issue fixed by 8:15 am. When you know what you are doing, it doesn't take long and he knew what he was doing. Additionally, Trace explained the problem and what he did in terms I could understand. He then asked if I wanted him to take a quick look at my other toilet just to make sure all was good. I said yes and it was in good shape. I appreciate someone who calls ahead, is on time, knows what they are doing and explains what was done. The price was fair. Thanks Trace and Harlow, much appreciated.

But, the fellow that just called me said it was "strange" I owned my apartment/condo and that the company has never done work for me. You also advertise "no additional charge for emergency services" but he said pricing would start at $300 for after hours. He didn't ask me to confirm my address. As I was rapidly losing interest in the conversation, another company called. I'd probably amend the "no additional charge" statement and and suggest not telling a client it's odd they own their property.

Because we had used their services in the past, we knew we were in good hands. It only took a quick phone call to schedule an estimate, and JD was out within a day. He was professional, knowledgeable, and thorough during the assessment. He explained that our previous water heater, which appeared to have been installed by a homeowner about 17 years ago, was missing several important safety features and updates. JD returned for the installation and called before arriving--he even arrived early! He worked efficiently and made sure the new installation would meet current safety standards and pass inspection requirements for our homeowners insurance. Before leaving, JD took the time to walk my husband and me through all the new features. We were impressed to learn about the water alarm that alerts us to leaks in the drain pan, the easy-to-use water shutoff handle, and other safety improvements. He even tested the hot water temperature inside the house to make sure everything was working properly before he left. The entire experience was professional, informative, and stress-free. Anytime Plumber will always have our business, and we highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing services!
