There was a bit of a snafu with their arrival time but when they arrived, they got immediately to work. They loaded and boxed and wrapped furniture, along with packing the big things I couldn't. They were loaded by lunch time, took a lunch break and arrived at my new location ready to go. The second location had steps and they all took turns getting things upstairs. They placed a big cabinet inside the very large closet of one bedroom, which was a great idea and took up less floor space in the bedroom. They were done about 4 hours later. Through the whole process, everyone was cheerful, hard working and thorough. If I ever have to move again, and I pray that I won't, I would choose them again in a heartbeat.

They called me the day before to let me know their plan for picking up the Uboxes and bringing them to my apartment. They showed up early and were already backed up to my gate with the Uboxes open and ready to start loading. They scheduled my move for two hours and finished in one hour! They carefully wrapped all of my furniture in moving blankets and packed my stuff into the boxes so that the next movers, who will be moving me into my new apartment in a new city, won't have any issues. I was so nervous about the moving process and these guys made everything feel so easy and stress-free. They went above and beyond and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone!

I was quoted four hours plus an…read morehour of travel, but the move ended taking double that--and because I was paying them by the hour I was pretty frustrated. There was also some confusion over "travel fees" vs "fuel fees", but that appeared to be an error on their end. After talking with them on the phone on the day of the move, and then working with them in the week after the move, we were able to agree on a price that was fair, and I feel like it was appropriate. The movers were extremely friendly and polite, and we never had any problems with damage. They treated all our possessions with care. And the corporate people I worked with were eager to make things right.

I'm absolutely livid about my experience with them…read more First, when I called for my estimate they quoted me $189 per hour, and said it would be about four hours plus an hour of travel. They pressured me into making a down payment to lock in the rate, and I did, because the estimate seemed reasonable. Well, the move ended up taking all day. From 9 till 5. And the workers seemed to be doing everything to draw out the process. One guy was on his phone with friends multiple times. We overheard another telling the new guy "if a job goes past 3:30, they won't make us do a second." And they were so inefficient! The truck had a ramp and an elevator lift, and they used the lift for every single box. They were taking their sweet time. When we got to my new house the foreman handed me an iPad with the charges, and--before I said anything--told me that if I had any issues with it I should call corporate. And then he sat down and got on his phone. Listen: I get that there are travel charges. But we traveled, one truck, from North Salt Lake to Millcreek--maybe 20 miles. So why was the travel charge more than $500 and an ADDITIONAL fuel charge more than $350? And that's to say nothing of the "packing materials" which we never asked for or were quoted about--another $240. And of course now labor was nine hours, not four. And they wouldn't unload the truck until I paid. They were holding my furniture hostage. Well I paid. But I have been told twice over the phone that they are going to investigate, and it's been ten days of nothing. Do not use this company. Especially not the Utah branch.

We had a very disappointing experience with All Smiles Moving…read more My mother-in-law booked them based on an estimate provided ahead of time (03/26/26) and paid a deposit. However, on the day of the move (04/09/26), they presented a new estimate that was higher than what was originally agreed to. Before the movers even arrived, my husband had already done a significant amount of the work himself, he moved all the boxes into the garage and disconnected the washer and dryer. The only items left in the home were the large furniture pieces. When the two movers arrived, they even commented that this was going to be an "easy move" because of how much had already been done. We were told a crew of 3 movers would be handling the job, but only 2 showed up for most of the move. A third mover didn't arrive until the last couple of hours to help with the unloading. Because of this, the move took longer than it should have and since they charge hourly, that directly increased the total cost. This seems like normal practice for them, a bait and switch. They also spent an excessive amount of time (about an hour) just wrapping furniture, which again added to the bill. At the end, the total came out to nearly $1,000 significantly more than expected. On top of that, we received inconsistent paperwork with different versions of the agreement, which makes the charges even more questionable. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and misleading. Despite the amount of prep work done ahead of time, the job still took longer and cost more than it should have. If you're considering using this company, I would strongly recommend getting everything clearly locked in writing and confirming crew size before the move starts. Unfortunately, we would not use them again.

All 4 people who showed up were extremely courteous, well mannered and respectful of each other, myself, my grandparents, my home, and the piano. They took such great care moving something so special. Safety was of the upmost priority and they took care to make sure the piano was well padded and set so that it wouldn't get damaged in the short drive. I was a little taken aback by the price tag of $250 to move a piano a short distance, but by the end, it was the best $250 I could have spent. I had zero worries, even in the rain. These guys are also very strong- my grandparents and I were amazed by their strength and ability to move the piano so fluidly and safely and knew a special heirloom was in safe and capable hands.

I value the resource we as customers have with online reviews now. I have only ever given one other…read moreonline review, but I had such a TERRIBLE experience with this company's "management" that I HAD to post a review to hopefully save someone the same trouble and negativity I experienced. I have a mixed review between the actual movers, the so-called managers, and the actual owner, so I only gave an overall rating of 3 stars. I will separate the different "services" we received. The movers: they were decent. The only other experience I had with movers was a company that moved my parents house. They packed up the ENTIRE house-without anyone present I might add, loaded it in a truck, and we got all our belongings safely to our new home. I expected something similar, but this was not the case. They sent four guys, one of them was assigned to be the leader. He told me "you have to tell my guys what to do or they will just stand around." Really? They didn't box up and haul out the things I asked them to and they loaded the things I was going to donate. I rented my own uhaul and when I went to get it my sister told me they didn't do any work while I was away. It was about 40 min. I understand if they felt unsure what to do during that time, but there was PLENTY of things to move and things that could have been done during that time. Also, when I got back they told me I was out of tape to seal up the boxes. I just would have appreciated a phone call before then so we didn't have to take more time for my sister to run back out to the store and get more. It just would have been helpful, but it's not like that made them terrible movers or anything. They were decent, not fantastic or terrible. If you hire them and expect to give lots of direction you'll be fine. The "management:" I have NEVER encountered such incompetent selfish managers in all my life as a costumer. Come to find out they were the source of many of the problems I had in this company. The movers told me they didn't know that I they would be helping with packing, just loading. I had specifically scheduled this at the beginning and then CALLED TO CONFIRM a few days before the move, but never received a phone call back. They said this was a common problem with the "front desk guys" (he didn't even refer to them as managers which come to find out is what they are) and they don't get a lot of the information they need before arriving to a job site. Also, when I first called to inquire about there serviced I explained what I needed and it was THE COMPANY that suggested sending out 3 guys and said that would be plenty, but then on the actual day they sent out 4. I definitely needed the help, but it doesn't seem like it was scheduled or communicated correctly and I ended up paying a higher hourly rate than what I signed up for. What if I had been on a tight budget? When I originally called to report that the movers hadn't worked for the 40 min I was gone getting the uhaul I wasn't calling disgruntled or demanding my money back. I thought it would have been a fair decent gesture for them to offer that, but Justin, one of the "managers" said that there are two sides to every story and he would have to talk to "his guys." There are multiple problems with this and I don't think I have to explain. Then he went on to tell me it was probably my fault. I got really upset and he said "i'm not yelling at you. And as I'm sure you've heard I've passed up 4 other phone calls because I'm talking to you." Someone needs to teach this guy how a business runs and what customer service is. The other "manager" I spoke with wasn't much more help. He said he was the owners brother and the office manager and that I couldn't be talking to someone better than him as he threatened to "yell" and "get rude with me back." I got in touch with him because he had left me a voicemail that I thought was him following up with my previous complaint, but he didn't even know why he was calling in the first place. Just that he "had a missed call from this number." After I re-explained my complaint and then my additional complaints with how rude Justin was he said he was sorry, but that was all he could offer me. He said "all you've done is call and complain and you haven't told me what I can do for you or what you want!" I hung up because he was yelling and talking over me so I had my husband call back. Then the guy FINALLY had the owner call him. The owner: My husband said he was very nice and apologized for the way his staff handled the situation. It was nice to get a call from him, but I really hope he takes a good look at who he has managing his company because apparently they don't care enough about customer service and could ruin this guys company. He said he would talk to his guys, I just hope he really does. I can't say enough bad things about the managers....

By 8:40 AM, no one had arrived, so I reached out and received no response. The movers did not arrive until just before 10:00 AM, with no communication or apology regarding the delay. The move was completed at approximately 11:26 AM, yet we were still charged $495 for a full 3-hour minimum. Had they arrived at the agreed-upon appointment time, the job likely would have been much closer to the timeframe they charged for. Instead, we were billed for time during which no services were being provided. When I attempted to discuss the issue, Charles became argumentative and unwilling to reasonably address my concerns. Comments I left on the Venmo transaction were deleted, and my negative review was also removed. There was also very little documentation or transparency regarding the billing terms or transaction. Their response also stated that Tooele was "46 miles away," but if distance was an issue, the job should not have been accepted or should have been scheduled appropriately. Overall, this experience felt extremely unprofessional and poorly handled. I would strongly encourage others to use caution before hiring this company.
