I had a great experience with pronto boxes. While I don't recommend their garment boxes, I definitely recommend the moving bins. The customer service is also on point. Their bins are pretty spacious compared to cardboard boxes. There's also less mess and more space when you move as you don't need to worry about breaking down and getting rid of all that cardboard. I got the studio apartment package for 3 weeks and didn't think I needed the dolly - but the dolly came in handy as I was packing and unpacking, to more easily get to the boxes I needed. The boxes themselves were easily stackable and you'd know if you overpacked them based on the design. The boxes are also super sturdy. To label them, I'd recommend using masking tape - super cheap and no need for all that extra label paper. The tape also peels right off when you're done but stays on better than the reusable labels. (I didn't use the pro to labels because they were a bit small for me). When the boxes arrived, they were mostly clean and ready to go. The boxes' drop off and pickup were both super smooth. When I was not satisfied with the garment boxes, I was only charged for the week I had it. I did have to pay for the extra pickup, but it was still cheaper than keeping the garment boxes for 3 weeks. The boxes stack into each other easily when you're done so it saves space as you unpack. Pro tip: as you unpack, stack the boxes right onto the dolly, including the box you're in the process of unpacking. Customer service is super responsive over text and it felt like they took an interest in making the process as smooth as possible for me. I had unpacked a day early and they were able to come by and pick up the boxes the same day. I was getting unlimited cardboard boxes for free from my dad's job but was glad I used pronto boxes instead for this move. read more

I did a LOT of research for places to rent crates from when I was moving and landed on prontoboxes because they had consistently good reviews and a price that was lower than the competitors with no hidden costs. My experience was very personal and great (you can tell this is a smaller company). I was reached out to the day before my crates were to be delivered asking if they could deliver them a day later due to some issues on their end; I told them I was planning to go out of town in a few days and really didn't want to lose the day packing, and they made it happen as scheduled. The crates arrived right on schedule and were brought in to my apartment. After I moved and finished unpacking, I was done a couple days early and texted to see if they could pick the boxes up early and they came out later that day and took them from inside my apartment. Great experience! read more

Great for the environment and outstanding service. We have used Pronto Boxes multiple times (every time we moved) because we were upset about the fact that we had to 1) buy new cardboard boxes for every move -- what a hassle + $$$ 2) we hated the "waste" buying the boxes created (how terrible for the environment) 3) disliked you had to get so many boxes because you could not "load" them so heavily Pronto boxes was the first company we tried out and that we never went with anyone else should speak to everything.... Not only is this a great way to save $$$ and the environment but you can load those babies up heavy! Finally, I could just stack all of my ceramic plates in one box rather than spreading them across multiple boxes that would then have "lighter" things in them. With those pronto boxes, you just load them up as you wish! Whoohoo! Jason and Co. are absolutely lovely, professional and 100% reliable -- in fact they are OVER-RELIABLE and/or flexible if you need them to be (we were all there....sometimes you move does not happen as planned....) Each time, the pick-up and delivery service was on-time, super quick and thorough. They even provide you with a dolly that fits the boxes, so you can push them (even when loaded), so you don't even have to rent one! Lastly, the boxes were always clean (we recently moved during Covid and even then, the boxes were sanitized and cleaned thoroughly). I highly recommend Pronto Boxes to anyone moving (individuals or families, long moves or short moves)! This is the modern way of moving! Thank you, Jason for a great experience each time. You guys are 5****!!! read more

This was our 3rd time using pronto boxes and as always professional, punctual, and friendly. We greatly appreciate their service that removes a lot of the headache of packing. read more

My go to for when I need "boxes" to store or move! Can't go wrong! Will always use these! read more

ProntoBoxes are convenient and priced well, with great customer service. I was in an urgent moving situation and needed moving boxes right away. Many places I called wouldn't be able to deliver until the following week but ProntoBoxes lived up to its name and delivered within two days. Jason was very communicative throughout the entire process and was flexible when I asked for a couple extra days to unpack (and didn't charge me extra!). Will definitely look to use ProntoBoxes again for my next move. read more

These are the best! I just used Prontoboxes for the second time and there's no going back to cardboard boxes. The bins are very sturdy and easily stackable, making the whole packing process much easier, not to mention more environmentally friendly. Jason is so responsive and flexible, and pickup and drop-off were a breeze. You can order completely online, I needed to extend our time and that was also easy to do with a quick phone call. Highly recommend! Depending on your situation, I'd suggest leaving yourself at least a few days to unpack. Having to return them is definitely a good motivator to unpack quickly (vs. having those lingering cardboard boxes that somehow take months to unpack), but being able to do so strategically is worth the extra time. We started with 2 weeks and front-loaded the time by planning to return them the day after our move... that was way too optimistic! Thankfully, it was very easy to extend the time. read more

The easiest packing and unpacking I've ever done. Super easy to schedule and the bins are space efficient and sturdy. p.s. You will want to give yourself at least a week to unpack. Trust me. read more

I was able to order completely online, for our move.. we started with a 3 bedroom, and needed to add 1 more bedroom.. which was also super quick and easy to do. For pickup- the team grabbed the boxes from the garage, and I didn't need to interact with the team directly. In all quick and easy service! read more

We ordered the 3 Bedroom set for a move from NYC to NJ. It was a great experience. Exactly what we wanted and when we wanted it. We were able to work with the ProntoBoxes team to ensure boxes were brought up to our apartment which is not something most of these services offer. Highly recommend this service and thanks to the crew for making the move a lot easier and less stressful. read more

Super easy to set up a bin rental. They're very communicative and were flexible with my move. The bins itself were actually a life saver in packing for a move, it was great to not have to tape boxes and transporting them on the dolly + stackability were a huge advantage in my time-constrained move. Originally when I purchased through the website I didn't get an email, but I called and confirmed and they showed up with exactly what I ordered on the day of. It was just such a painless experience and I'd use them again! read more

I'm very happy with the products and service by Pronto. They are communicative and friendly. The boxes were dropped off and picked up at the location of your choice without having to pay extra fees unlike other companies. The boxes worked great for my moving and the prices were very reasonable. I did plenty of research for companies that offer the same bins in the NYC area and every other company was more expensive plus they added fees because I wanted to do a pickup at another state. Highly recommend this company if you're looking to rent crates for moving! read more

I cannot overstate how fabulous they are and how much easier their boxes made my move. Jason is very professional and responsive. His brother Chris delivered and picked up the boxes. He is also great. He texted to let us know when he would be arriving. I also checked with them ahead of time to make sure the times worked for everyone. They are the only such company that runs their boxes through a machine to clean them. Please watch the video on their website. The boxes were very clean. The boxes easily stack on top of each other when they are full or stack inside each other when they are empty. Do not even think about using cardboard boxes. Do not think of using anyone else. These guys, their service, and their product are terrific. read more

I was saved by this amazing company. My moving company lost my bin reservation. And I had to get bins! Prontoboxes worked with me and they saved my move and life. I really don't know what I would have done without them. They are fantastic and Jason is so nice. I can't thank them enough for their services. And I highly appreciate and recommend them !! read more

I've used pronto boxes a few times for my moves. They make your move fast and efficient. They have all of the supplies you need. Always communicate throughout the process. Super easy. Highly recommend! read more

Used Pronto boxes for the first time and would happily go back to them and recommend them to anyone. High quality boxes, great pricing, flexible on timing of pickup/drop off. Hassle-free from start to finish and lovely to deal with. Great communication from Jason with regular updates. read more

The boxes: They were excellent. High quality commercial grade boxes which saved us so much work without the need to tap and assemble like you do with cardboard boxes. I would skip the wardrobe boxes and those were not the same quality and I found cardboard ones to be better. The Customer Service: Jason and his team were excellent. Great communication and follow-through. We need a few specialized tweaks to the our order and they accomodated easily. Highly recommend and use for our next move! read more

Good service and Def recommend! They had asked to deliver bins earlier then expected date free of charge!

So happy I found Jason & the Pronto Boxes team. I've moved several times recently and prefer bins to cardboard boxes. When I tried to use the company I used 3x previously they would not deliver because my new address was about 20 miles away. Jason saved the day and came through for a very reasonable fee, with short notice. Jason was communicative, prompt and all around awesome. The smoothest part of the move. I will be sure to recommend if we know anyone that is moving. 10 stars. read more

Very good customer service. Much better than the rude lady who answers the phone at their pricier Queens competitor. I was skeptical about ordering from them since their website isn't that great looking but it turns out they used to be a franchise of that national box renting service you've probably seen a commercial for. I needed boxes the next day and they were happy to oblige. When I needed to extend my rental period more than once Jason on the phone made it seem like no big deal. The guy who dropped off mg boxes noticed I hadn't ordered enough zip ties for the number of boxes I ordered and brought along more in case I wanted to purchase them (I did). Just very nice and thoughtful all around. I would use them again. read more

This is the fourth time we have used Pronto Boxes. I can't imagine any other way to move. Jason answers your calls promptly and professionally. The boxes help you move faster which saves time and money. It protects your stuff. It's stackable which is so important when you don't have a ton of space to have boxes all over the place. They deliver and drop off. And it's better for the environment! What's not to love? I tell everyone about Pronto Boxes whenever they are moving. read more

Perfect experience, would use again without any hesitation, and would recommend to all my NYC friends. I'll likely never buy cardboard boxes for a move again. I was about to move apartments and did not want to buy, tape up, then dismantle and either store or immediately toss out cardboard boxes. Not only would it be a waste of space/money, but I wanted to have a greener move. I researched many plastic bin rentals servicing the NYC area, and ultimately decided that Prontobox was the most economical and trustworthy. I placed the order in advance, got my delivery window time the day before, got a text 30min prior to delivery day of, and received the boxes delivered to my door exactly when expected, in perfect condition, with labels and an extremely smoothly rolling dolly. I could not have had an easier time packing. No need to build anything or tape anything. They stack perfectly, whether open/empty or full/shut. Perfect sizes. Movers had a supremely easy time moving everything, no need for balancing acts or tetris of random sized cardboard boxes. When I was moved and unpacked, all the labels removed easily (none fell off during transit either), stacked just as well, and I contacted Prontobox requesting an early pickup. It was scheduled, I got a pickup window the day before, a text 30min prior day of, and everything was picked up at my door. No surprises, no extra fees, no issues whatsoever. Love it. read more

Drop off and pick up of bins was super easy. Windows of time we're accurate; I wasn't waiting around forever. Jason was proactive and professional in all communication. And the bins are great. Highly recommend in place of cardboard boxes. Really great, convenient experience. read more

I absolutely loved Prontoboxes!!! First, Jason was so easy to work with. He was flexible, communicative, and warm. Second, the boxes were extremely HELPFUL! I couldn't believe how much of my stuff had fit in those boxes. When my movers came, they were incredibly grateful that they could wheel those crates out of my apartment (as opposed to heavy boxes). After my move, the pickup for the crates was very easy. I really love this company and 100% will use them again. read more

We were recommended to Pronto Boxes by a long time mover of ours. Not only did we feel good about the environmental aspect of these boxes, but the durability and ease of packing and unpacking was tremendous! The team is super professional and helpful and the price is very cost efficient. Highly recommend this service for your next move! read more

Our second time to use their boxes. Other than it's convenient (delivery to current address and pickup from new address), the boxes are clean, sturdy and stackable. Love that it's sustainable too. We don't need the boxes post moving, no storage space to keep them and don't want to add to landfill. Highly recommend. Professional and pleasant to deal with. read more

Highly recommend using ProntoBoxes for your next move - small or big. Jason was great to communicate with and the entire transaction was seamless. Originally I went with ProntoBoxes vs. cardboard boxes for environmental reasons. However, they are a much more effective and efficient method of packing/moving. I went with the 1 bedroom package with two wardrobe boxes for my NYC apartment. At first I was a little worried that I might not have enough boxes but ended up with 2 extra, which were perfect for miscellaneous items. The wardrobe boxes fit two closets worth of clothing and jackets. The ProntoBoxes were very clean (cleaner than cardboard) and easy to fasten close vs taping cardboard. Best of all, after my move - I did not need to breakdown boxes to dispose. Dropoff and pickup were on time. They stored nicely when they were empty. I attached photos below of them empty (stacked in my closet) and packed. Bonus: the movers loved the ease of moving the boxes. They finished in less time and I saved money. I would definitely use them again. read more

This is my second experience with Pronto Boxes and I couldn't be happier. I have recommended them to family and friends. Moving is already stressful and they made it easier. My movers were also appreciative with them because it made the move easier as well. Also, I didn't worry about wasting boxes that just end up in a landfill. read more

This is the 2nd time I've used Pronto boxes for my moves and hands down is the best decision I made for each time I moved. It allows you to streamline and organize your move efficiently, and saved me not only time, but money. My movers were really happy I had them and my move only took about 5 hours (and that's with travel time and a lunch break). Both Jason and Chris were extremely accommodating and coordinated with me regarding delivery and pickup times in a timely fashion. I am thankful that I was able to use Pronto Boxes with my moves from the city to CT. I did have to pay fees to accommodate travel and gas expenses due to the distances at both the delivery ($40 in cash) and pick up ($75 in cash) dates. I hope I can use their service for any future moves since it's so convenient. read more

amazing service & so worth the money! definitely recommend to anybody moving within the tri-state area :)

Used these guys for a move a year ago when they were still under "Bungo box". I used them again a year later and continue to be impressed by how quick they are to respond and how prompt their drivers are. This is New York City and having any sort of delivery service that sticks to their pick up and drop off time windows is rare. Extremely nice management, super clean boxes, prompt drivers. 5/5. read more

I had trouble finding a company that serviced both Jersey City and Florham Park and was so glad I found pronto boxes! Not only was the pricing very reasonable, the customer service was fantastic! Jason was always quick to answer my questions and extending my boxes an extra week was so easy! i highly recommend to anyone! read more

The whole process of contacting Jason and then having them deliver the boxes and pick them up from a different location in a different city was super easy! Absolutely no hassles. The boxes were super sturdy as were the dollies they came with. Most importantly, I loved the fact that they let you know within a band of an hour when they were coming so you don't end up waiting hours and hours for boxes to be delivered or picked up. Moving is stressful in general, but having Pronto boxes helped a lot! read more

100% recommend them. This is the fourth move I've used them and had a fantastic experience each time.

Second time I've used them. It's great not to be contributing to waste of resources. The boxes are clean and capacious. The delivery person was so nice and helpful and arrived just as scheduled. I don't intend to move again, but I would always recommend them to anyone who was moving. No downside. read more

This is a fantastic product and the service was great to match. They show up when you ask and seem to have a good handle on what your needs will be. We had a lot of extra stuff so we made a couple of extra trips in orders to free up some of the boxes but I think for a typical move they have it down to a science. Boxes are sturdy and none of our stuff was damaged at the end of the move. Then because you know you're returning them you speed-unpack and stack them in the corner. They take up almost no space at all. And then the gentleman comes to pick them up as soon as you're ready. Two minor gripes but they aren't a huge deal: wardrobe boxes were flimsy and a pain to keep open. I think we have an average amount of clothes and two wardrobes doesn't cut it for a 2BR. The other issue is zip ties/labels. They don't provide enough zip ties to close both ends and with difficult to close boxes you need to do that. This was easily remedied by buying some extra at Walmart - problem solved. They should also provide some extra labels in case you reuse any of the boxes during your move. Just a suggestion. I highly recommend these guys. M read more
