He and his crew then installed gutters and downspouts on the metal roof over my patio. This fixed a drainage problem and was well done. I contacted Lee's Lawn again to get an estimate for a rock border. They leveled the ground, put down material to restrict grass and weed growth, and then extended and buried the downspouts. Unfortunately, my experience with Cornerstone Landscape has echoed that of Mr. Brian M below…read more I contacted Cornerstone based on their solid reviews on Yelp and other sites. I also was told the soonest Scott could come out was in three weeks. On the day of the appointment, I called to confirm the appointment window and the office assistant confirmed that I was scheduled for a 3p to 5p window. Had to leave work early to meet the window (not a problem, planned it in advance). Scott never showed up. Waited until 5:30p before calling to get an update, but the office was closed and I was directed to Scott's voicemail by the automated answering machine. Left a voicemail. I called back first thing the next morning to explain the situation and the office assistant took my phone number so she could call me back after talking with Scott. I never heard back. I called one more time the next business day and left another voicemail. I still have not heard anything back from Scott or the office assistant. It really sounds like Scott and his team do great work, but I have not experienced the prompt or courteous responsiveness that others have. I understand that things happen sometimes, but a business should always communicate with its customers when a scheduling issue arises. ***************************** UPDATE Scott called me personally this morning to apologize for missing the appointment last week. The lack of communication appears to be due to the office logging an incorrect area code on my phone number. My subsequent calls alerted the office to the error. I'm giving Scott and his team the benefit of the doubt and we are going to try to meet again tomorrow. Upgrading my review to a 3s for now.

We have been long‑term customers of Trinity, but the quality of their landscaping work has declined…read moresignificantly in recent years. Over the past 1-2 years, we've experienced repeated issues with plant installations, many of which failed within 18 months. In February, Trinity pruned--and ultimately destroyed--four large, healthy plants (3-4 feet tall) that we had planted ourselves the previous summer. This was done without our knowledge or permission. It took nearly four months for them to replace only two of the plants, and they refused to replace the other two, insisting they would "come back." One never did, and the other is only now starting to recover and is barely a foot tall. When they replaced the two plants, one arrived with a snapped limb that they left unaddressed and refused to replace. We also had to replace five holly bushes that Trinity installed two years ago. They were planted unevenly and improperly spaced, and despite being replanted, they began dying again within two weeks. Trinity has refused to honor their warranty or work with us toward a resolution. There is a clear pattern of poor workmanship, lack of accountability, and difficulty in communication. We have since moved on to a new landscaping company that has been excellent.
