I was referred to these amazing folks by another service provider we met at a Chamber meeting. They came out right away, and got me bid within 3 days. They were a few hundred higher than the lowest bidder but thousands lower than the highest bidder. They showed up as scheduled to do the work with a great crew and we are thrilled with their professionalism. We highly recommend. Unfortunately, my experience with Cornerstone Landscape has echoed that of Mr. Brian M below. I contacted Cornerstone based on their solid reviews on Yelp and other sites. I also was told the soonest Scott could come out was in three weeks. On the day of the appointment, I called to confirm the appointment window and the office assistant confirmed that I was scheduled for a 3p to 5p window. Had to leave work early to meet the window (not a problem, planned it in advance). Scott never showed up. Waited until 5:30p before calling to get an update, but the office was closed and I was directed to Scott's voicemail by the automated answering machine. Left a voicemail. I called back first thing the next morning to explain the situation and the office assistant took my phone number so she could call me back after talking with Scott. I never heard back. I called one more time the next business day and left another voicemail. I still have not heard anything back from Scott or the office assistant. It really sounds like Scott and his team do great work, but I have not experienced the prompt or courteous responsiveness that others have. I understand that things happen sometimes, but a business should always communicate with its customers when a scheduling issue arises. ***************************** UPDATE Scott called me personally this morning to apologize for missing the appointment last week. The lack of communication appears to be due to the office logging an incorrect area code on my phone number. My subsequent calls alerted the office to the error. I'm giving Scott and his team the benefit of the doubt and we are going to try to meet again tomorrow. Upgrading my review to a 3s for now. read more

One hates to be the first negative review of a firm, but here goes. We contacted Scott and the team at Cornerstone Landscape for a bid on adding planting beds and other work for our new home. We were told the soonest they could come out was in three weeks. After patiently waiting we finally got a call from Scott an hour and half into the two hour window for him to show up. He indicated he was across town dealing with an issue but, "would be there soon". Well an hour after the cutoff for his arrival window and an hour and half after his call I'm guessing he isn't showing up. I guess Scott and team at Cornerstone Landscape have enough work they didn't need to bid our job, but if that was the case then be honest with the customer and let us know. More importantly if things don't go to plan let the customer (potential or otherwise) know and try to make it right. However, going radio silent with the customer says a lot about you and your business. *********************************** Update: Scott finally showed up an hour and ten minutes past the window scheduled. He didn't call prior to doing so to confirm we were home (we weren't) and the only reason we even knew he was there is because our video doorbell recorded his arrival and he left his card in the door. Once he realized we weren't home he didn't try to call or have the office call. He just shoved his business card in the door and left while audibly on another call. As previously stated, if your day isn't going to plan, communicate to your customers and potential customers. You made me wait all day for you to arrive, had you called you would have known we would be back in under 20 minutes so you could have waited for us. In the end on to another firm. If you can't show up to bid a job as scheduled I sure can't depend upon you to show up if I hire you. read more

I hired Cornerstone Landscaping to lay several pallets of grass, add to our existing irrigation system and add mulch to existing plant beds. I am very pleased with the service. I was updated in a timely manner as to when his crew would arrive to complete each project. The crew and owner were very patient with me when answering my questions and addressing my concerns. The bid was very competitive with other quotes. I have worked with several other landscaping companies in the past and this was by far the most positive experience I have had with a landscaping company. Scott (the owner) sent an experienced crew and had the equipment/material needed to complete each project. It was a week from the time I called the office before Scott came out to give a bid. The time I waited was well worth the wait. He was very thorough and offered many suggestions. I would highly recommend Cornerstone Landscaping! read more

We called Cornerstone after buying a property between Mansfield and Burleson. Scott and his team upgraded our back yard with sod, stone, irrigation, and lighting. We are very pleased with the results, and have received multiple compliments from friends and neighbors. The work was done on time and on cost. He had great ideas, gave us a reasonable quote and time schedule, stuck to the time schedule and his team did a great job for us. He's also scrupulously honest and fair.
