I specifically requested the use of a sod cutter and commercial grade landscape fabric. The landscape fabric began ripping and pulling out within hours. Some portions were layered with multiple scraps. They removed dead grass and some dirt with a combination of shovels and a tiller I provided. They did not have the right tools or materials. They assured me they could remove the sod and would also spray the remaining roots so it would not return. I reached out about the poor landscape fabric within 24 hours. 9 days later when boulders were placed it was apparent that in most areas the sod was not removed at all. They did not spray the grass deterrent. When I spoke to them 9 days later they made many excuses for the poor quality of work, and blocked me on their contact number and all accounts. Pictures taken day 1 and day 9 after work was "done." $1700+ for the work and materials...

If I could give zero stars, I would. I'm writing this to warn others stay far away from this…read morecompany. They are scammers, plain and simple. Not only did they do a terrible job, but they also overcharged for their so-called "services." What's worse, they took credit for work they didn't even do work that was completed by someone else entirely. When I brought this up and tried to resolve the issue calmly, they didn't take any responsibility. Instead, they got angry and even threatened me. This is not just unprofessional it's downright shady. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Avoid them at all costs.

I didn't realize how much these services were needed until I did my free consultation where a contractor came out for free and walked me through all the possibilities. I received the best quality for the best price. I wish we would have done it sooner. Thank you again for the continued commitment to the DFW area.

The company repeatedly no-showed on job days; reneged on agreements and promises made; twisted the facts and mixed up and "forgot" quotes. In our opinion, he is a HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL businessman. We were fortunate enough to find a great, talented and professional crew at Magnolia Fence & Patio who did 5-star work for us. The best day of our "relationship" with Texas Tuff was the day we "fired" them! They were a nightmare and total waste of our time! Dealing with this company was just an awful, awful experience for us.

After seeing several options that I liked I settled on one in particular and after discussing price I was all in. Eddie came out and did a free measurement and then worked up a complete bid for the job. I was totally sold when they explained that they only use their own help - no contracting out - and that Eddie (owner of the company) was going to do the job himself. When a company owner personally does the work you automatically know that you have a better chance of getting good results. Small companies live and die with internet reviews and this company definitely works to get that good review. All work was performed professionally and scheduled times were adhered to. They did a beautiful job and did several things to make a better job that they didn't even charge for. I highly recommend this company and will be using them again in the near future to replace the carpet in a couple of my bedrooms. I am glad I found this company! Michael T.

I found that many carpet cleaners are like cable companies who first promise a low low bill and then as soon as they are in your home they will come up with the bullshit that level 1 cleaning, level 2 cleaning, extra $$ because your particular stain is very difficult to get rid of etc, etc run away from such companies! This company did an awesome job. They gave me an upfront price and told me exactly what they will do. The carpet looks fresh, almost new and nobody could have done the better job! I would highly recommend them! I had two other carpet company come to my home to do the cleaning and immediately after looking at the carpet they backtrack their price promise and started doubling or tripling the quote. Some companies even refuse to give an upfront pricing! I did not know finding a good carpet cleaner was that hard. If you don't want to get ripped off by the shady carpet cleaning companies, hire this company. If someone refuses to give you an upfront pricing based on your description of the job, run as fast as you can from that company. If someone starts saying XXX $$ additional because your carpet looks way more filthy then we thought, show them the door! This company did not do any of those tactic. They came to my rental property, cleaned the carpet and left. I later got a phone call to collect the payment where they told me that the job was difficult because there was dog poop, urine, odor and lot of mess that was taken care of. The technician worked really hard to get rid of it all. I ended up paying 60% more than the original quote. I was not forced to pay it but I was just suggested that the fair price was that and I agreed to pay. Conclusion: They did an awesome job and very good price! My carpet is back to almost new!
