As I walked in I was greeted by both a sales assistant and Rebeca the owner. Both were very friendly and accommodating, and within a few minutes, I had beautiful sparkly studs in my ears. I was very pleased with how meticulous Rebeca was on making sure the holes were even, she even pulled out a little ruler to measure. The piercing was pretty painless (it was my third hole so I'm kinda a pro.) I was really happy with my experience. It's a calm environment which I think would be good for kids. You are given a cleaning lotion and instructions how to keep them clean and infection free! I am pretty sure they do cartilage piercing on the ear also. Beside the ear piercing, they have a ton of cute accessories to browse. I ended up getting a necklace that have been searching for after seeing it on a girl at the Belmont Stakes. He seemed knowledgeable, pricing it differently depending whether you want to actually keep the original bottom or not, extra work. I brought him the jeans, opting for his more expensive option. I picked them up and upon examining them at home, I was shocked. It was a sort of outer, sewn over hem, somewhat thick, not at all passable as an original bottom. I returned to Michael's, bringing another pair of jeans previously altered by a local CUSTOM TAILOR. I showed him the difference and expressed my dissatisfaction. I asked if he could modify it to how the other jeans are. He said he could not, as he does not have the appropriate tools. The pic includes the bad job (dark blue) and a good job (light blue) so you can see for yourself. He was actually MORE EXPENSIVE than the custom tailor who did an excellent job. I told him that I would have to bring it to the other tailor to correct. No offer of credit toward dry cleaning. A total loss! YOU HAVE BEEN FOREWARNED!
