I am the manager of this Prometric Testing Center, and I am writing this review to give you an idea of what to expect on test day and help future test-takers find our location. We are located in the Boomer Jack's shopping center on the southeast corner of Central Drive and Airport Freeway. If you will be using your GPS to guide you, set your destination as either Boomer Jack's or Movie Tavern. That will get you to the shopping center. Locate Boomer Jack's and you'll see a tall clock tower down the walkway to the right of Boomer Jack's. We are located directly under the clock in suite 235. You will need to check with your specific test client (CPA, Texes, USMLE, FINRA, etc) to find out what identification you will need to bring to the testing center. We do provide lockers free of charge, but we encourage you not to bring valuables with you if at all possible. You will not be allowed to wear watches, fit bits, headphones, hats, or jewelry of any kind other than wedding/engagement rings and stud earrings. We encourage you to dress comfortably and in layers. You may bring your own earplugs, but we do provide "ear muff" type headphones to block out any distractions. We provide all the testing materials you will need for the exam (scratch paper, pencils, etc) except for certain exhibits or graphing/financial calculators. Again, check with your specific testing client for details about what you need to bring with you on the day of your exam. We open our front door promptly at 7am and welcome early birds. We are extremely busy during the 8am testing time, so if you arrive at 7am you will be able to miss the rush and begin testing right away. TIP: The center is located under & past the clock tower Okay, I'm not a fan of testing centers but of the Prometric Testing Centers that I've been to, this one comes out on top. The process was smooth. I checked in and received a locker. You need to remove all your belongings except for the 2 IDs and your locker key. This includes watches (even analog!). You wait until you're called to the back. The rules are reviewed, you sign a form in a binder, receive two non-erasable laminates, get biometric scans of both your pointer fingers and checked with a metal detector prior to entering the actual testing room. You are allowed to bring your own ear foams (which I did). They also have two different types of over the head headphones but I don't recommend those cause they aren't comfortable. The chairs were comfortable though (they recline!). Each cubicle has a separate camera. One of the workers is required to enter the testing room and get a biometric scan of her finger every couple minutes. read more

I wouldn't have found this place with all the construction if it wasn't for Chesley's review. For some reason google maps wasn't working on my phone and the maps on the iphone was taking me to the hospital -____- Good thing I went a day ahead to find this place or else I would've been extra stressed and possibly late for my exam. I suggest that you do the same. There are plenty of restaurants nearby for you to eat at to celebrate the completion of your test you've been studying so diligently for, but if you're crying because you should've studied more and the test just showed you who is boss, then I'm sure you can grab ice cream or a shake nearby, too. Hopefully it's the former. Paul pretty much said it all, but for the MCAT, you get 6 pieces of paper and a sharpened pencil instead of the laminates. You also only need one ID. They offer two different head phones. I think one of them are just to cancel noise. I used them on top of my own ear foams. Make sure there is no string or wire connected to your personal ear plugs though. They have a little table in the break room near the lockers for you to sit and snack. The staff was really friendly and helpful, making a stressful day, much easier to endure. The temperature of the room was just right. I was wearing a cardigan and jeans, and I wasn't hot or cold. I brought a jacket just in case though but I didn't need it and left it on the coat hanger the whole time. If you were one and decide to take it off in the middle of your test, you have to come outside of the testing room to hang it up though. read more

Just left the testing center. The two employees I encountered while signing in and preparing for the test were knowledgeable and courteous. The testing environment was clean, comfortable, and extremely quiet. It was a great place to take a test and they did a fantastic job of getting me in, setup, and out as quickly as possible. Overall, I was impressed with the testing center and would definitely use again if I need to take another test in the future. read more

I wish they had more testing rooms...there was only 1 and during my 4 hour test, there was a guy in there coughing every 10-15mins! It was so disrruptive and irritating. It was hard to stay focus and I continually had to reread the questions :-( Needless to say, I ran out of time... The staff was very friendly :-) read more

I took my TOEFL at this center on 4th of March. This one star review belongs to a supervisor there and not for the center. She probably never had to take an examination so that she can know how stressful it could be and to know that she could be little humble with the students rather than making bad faces. Making bad faces was not enough for her, that she came to me during I was recording a Question ( TOEFL Speaking question) and interrupted me to slow down my voice. I was already stressed due to exam, in tension of recording myself efficiently withing 45 seconds. When she chose to interrupt me, I startled and paused and wasted 5 seconds. On top of that, that event affected me negatively and I ruined it further while recording next 4 questions too. She probably do not know it could be hard for a student to spend $195 for a test and they can not afford to waste any attempt. I wish I knew her name so that I can lodge a complain against her. I would rate 5 star for Tress ( another supervisor at the same place on same day). That rude lady have to learn from Tress ( I hope I did not get it wrong). read more

The prometric center in Bedford today did not have air conditioning or a water cooler available while my son was taking an exam. He also said the place smelled terrible. The temperature here is 90 degrees and going up today. read more
