Both are kids did superb in their tests/class so we are happy with the results. I mainly liked the personalized service/tutoring customized to my kids' needs. The instructors are so nice and accommodating when we had to reschedule sessions for unforeseen reasons. My son really liked their tutor, Anthony, who also happens to be the owner. Emily, the algebra tutor is also great! Next year we will definitely be back with out youngest one to prepare her for the PSAT/SAT.

My daughter who is in 9th grade wanted to work on her test taking abilities to start preparing for her SAT. So she led me here. They do an interview which seemed like it could be more of a financial size-up since the price easy give some sticker shock (actually, paying up-front for three years was surprising for me). But even though it felt a little like getting pulled into a used car managers office, they really didn't focus on price. The people there were all very nice and welcoming. The place had a really good vibe. We went to our orientation (we really had covered almost all if it in the interview, but I guess some just apply online). A couple things that would be nice would be coffee and a chair or two. We got there in the morning(ish) and were in a rush with no coffee. I was really hoping they would have a kuerig and a place to sit. They had neither. Probably since the kids would just take over any lounge they set. I'll bring coffee next time.

After doing a lot of research and talking to a lot of people, Laurie offered the best price and was the only person I could find who had successfully obtained Texas Bar Exam testing accommodations in the past. There were two appointments involved. At the first meeting, I was assessed through a series of tests lasting about three hours. At the second meeting, Laurie issued a full report in writing, answered all of my questions, and helped me fill out all of the necessary paperwork required by the Bar Examiners. It was clear that Laurie had extensive experience with administration of the specific testing required by the Bar Examiners, and the paperwork required to be submitted when filing the Bar Exam application. In addition, Laurie was extremely pleasant and kind to deal with. Overall, a great experience.

This place is a Godsend! Our daughter has been going to Grade Power Learning in Garland since…read moreApril - and has improved her reading by over 3 grade levels since she started! Not only that, but she has STRAIGHT A's for the first time since 1st grade! I am so thankful for the team at Grade Power - from their initial testing, they voiced concerns that we already had about our daughter possibly having some learning differences. We had her tested through her school in 2nd grade, and they told us she was ADHD and should be medicated. We disagreed, and didn't medicate, but she continued to struggle in school. Thanks to Grade Power reconfirming our concerns, we got outside testing completed and lo and behold, she is Dyslexic! She has been on a personal tutoring plan at Grade Power and now also has a 504 in place at school to get additional accommodations to help her learn with her learning differences. She even is enjoying reading - something I never thought would happen!
