You're warned to take it upon yourself to get familiar w/ guidelines and coding itself by Mrs. Ortega. This is crucial! Regardless of any exam prep you take, none of them (and I know people that took courses from two other local instructors) will prepare you for actual coding. You will get the experience on the job but familiarize yourself w/ your books. It will be tough for awhile, but I cannot deny that I'm way further now than where I was last March. Employers understand it takes time, but they still need results so this is where being a self-learner comes into play. You guys can do it! It's very rewarding!!!!!!

I feel like if you're gonna be one of the pioneers in automatic commode flushing, then you are obligated to continue the tradition of not forcing your visitors to kick a manual flush handle with their foot after doing their bidness. Totally disappointed with the lack of automatic flushing commodes (and also urinals). Especially after being the cornerstone leader in the fact that they were one of the first facilities to have installed automatic flushing commodes. But they have their conference rooms named after north Texas counties. So they have that going for them. Three stars. Bring back the automatic flushing commodes, and I'll give them another star.

Important note: This company was bought by Dunrite Heating and Air. Please read their reviews…read morebefore calling this company. Sadly, the owner of Nick's passed away and this company is now owned by Dunrite. I called that company based on the reviews of Nick's Air Services, but their services has definitely NOT been the same as mentioned on this profile. In summary, this company is expensive, can make improper recommendations, and the office is very difficult to get anyone to call you back. I absolutely would not use them again in the future and - had I read their Yelp profile for Dunrite Heating & Cooling - would never have called them in the first place. My experience: My air conditioning due to leaked refrigerant due to another HVAC technician not correct. Nick's/Dunrite came out during the same day and quickly identified the problem. There was a leak on the schrader valve. They got us back to running - for nearly $200/per pound of refrigerant. 5 lbs = about $1,000. Wow, but we had no choice as my original installer was not available. Our unit has not been keeping up with the 90s for the past two months and the technician recommended 3 different options. I chose 2 of the 3 options: a larger return air duct AND repairing the plenum. I was anxious to get the work scheduled and it took me hounding them to get them to schedule the work. Communicating with this office was very painful. I would never get calls back and would just get a text message indicating when they had scheduled the appointment. Their front desk support was exceedingly helpful but not empowered to do anything besides schedule appointments and pass along info. I finally had the appointment and the technician went to the wrong address. I got a call from them saying they had been at my house and then they proceeded to the next job. I spoke to them and learned they were at the wrong house, but could not turn around to go back to my house. I had to wait until the following week to get the appointment rescheduled. What a disaster. It got worse. The work was finally done - the return air duct and the plenum. I waited a couple of days, but there was NO change in the air conditioning. I called them back again and they scheduled another technician to come out. The second technician came out, a more senior technician, who confirmed that the unit was undersized and "working as it was designed" to cool at 75-76. I don't know a single person who is comfortable with 75-76 in the house when the outside is in the 90s. I called customer service again. When I finally got someone, I got a call from William, who is their most senior technician (an older guys in his late-50s probably). He came out with the original technical and instructed him how to properly do a heat load calculation. They determined indeed the unit is undersized and I needed a 3 ton. I called back the customer service asking for a refund to the work. I've called at least 3-4 times, each time speaking with a very nice person. However, I've still not been called back. What a disaster. I've finally had to resort to filing a complaint with my credit card and disputing it through them. It's unfortunate and I didn't want to have to do this, but - when no one will call you back - it's very very hard to trust this company to make things right.

They took care of setting up all the state testing stuff and did it all at a great price. They even gave some students a ride home once or twice when they needed it. They are a pretty new school. There are some pros and cons that go with this. Pros: Small class sizes - 7 or 8 in my class so we got great personal attention Affordable tuition - cheaper than any other place i found and they paid the testing fees Flexibility - they worked around our schedules They are building a reputation so they really want everyone to succeed (everyone in my class passed the test first time) Cons: They won't always be small, hopefully, but they will still do a great job i'm sure They didn't have any sort of job placement program when I was there, but it isn't hard to find a job You will have to get CPR certification on your own to get a job most places and as far as I know Jambo does not offer it yet (Red Cross offers classes for $100 or so)

My assessment is....its fun to go, but there is no incentive to practice handwriting on the 6 days my son isn't in class. They make art projects using fingers in shaving cream and use tweezers to grasp small items. Additionally they have an OT gym, which breaks up the time in handwriting class to work on larger arm muscle strength. Its expensive but what else are you going to do if you have a child with poor handwriting? They have a monopoly on this common childhood problem but thier efforts are not very effective. The old adage, "Practice, Practice, Practice" is the only way to improve handwriting, and they don't teach that rant to the kids like they should.
