With that score in mind, I knew she needed help and I enrolled her at Best Brains Prosper. While attending Best Brains, at her school they had the same type of math test level at her second semester. Her results were amazing! She had over 137% grown in her math skills, and I give all the credit to the wonderful teachers and programs at Best Brains that helped and empowered my girl . She also takes Abacus that is helping her adding number really fast. I also love that they have a weekly progress report to the parents and the owners are wonderful people. I highly recommend Best Brains of Prosper. They gave my daughter confidence and knowledge.

Unfortunately, the interaction left me feeling judged and dismissed rather than supported. During our conversation, she strongly discouraged me from bringing my daughter to their location, stating that because my daughter is in first grade, she did not feel their services would be in her best interest. She also made a comment suggesting that I was a young mother and should consider finding a tutoring service that would be within my budget. I found this assumption particularly inappropriate and frustrating, as she had no basis for making assumptions about my age or financial situation. I explained to her that budget was not an issue for our family and that our daughter attends an IB-based school. Her father and I were simply looking for professional tutoring support because we would prefer to have someone experienced work with her rather than attempting to teach her ourselves. Despite explaining this, she continued to tell me that their services were not the right fit for my daughter and instead directed me to a website called Shadow Me Academically. At that point, I informed her that we were no longer interested. This was a terrible experience. I reached out expecting to learn more about your tutoring services and to set-up an Assessment. Instead, I left the conversation feeling that assumptions were made about my daughter, my parenting, and my financial circumstances before she had even had an opportunity to understand what we were looking for. That is not the level of professionalism or customer service I would expect from an organization providing educational services.

This is a wonderful facility for thoes that love math and those that need to be exposed to her love of math to gain their own. We love Ms. Jen and Prosper Mathnasium. Highly recommended for all.

Due to his diagnosis, learning to read, understanding the alphabet, phonics have all been an uphill battle for him. Throw in covid and unfortunately he got further behind. So, in steps Sylvan. (He had a private tutor, who was a substitute teacher), who tutored him once and then quit because she didn't feel she was a good fit. I met with Ms. Gabrielle, the Center Director who was so welcoming and really understood a lot of my concerns. She addressed one of my concerns regarding my son needing accommodations to see and hear letters and sounds and she was able to make this accommodation for him and if not, it was a deal breaker for us. Second, Our private speech therapist had a 40 minute conversation with Ms. Gabrielle about how my son learns, where he's at with his language and what not to say because he honestly doesn't understand what that means. She has proven herself to be so instrumental in my sons ability to learn. She has also communicated this to my sons teachers. In about 4 months, my son has almost closed a years worth of learning. His teachers, Ms. Jen, Ms. Heather, Ms. Mimi And Ms. Rachel are treasures!! They really know how to teach and having them at sylvan is an asset and I'm hoping the directors notice this. These teachers truly care and I can see my sons self esteem and confidence surge! Thank You So Much Ms. Gabrielle and to my sons teachers!

They simply don't care.

He started Reading Ranch, 2x a week, in the spring semester of Kindergarten and has continued year round; he's now in 2nd grade. When he started he was at the bottom of his class, and now he is among the top readers in his class. I attribute much of his success to tutoring, encouragement, and advocacy from Dr. Kim and the teachers at Reading Ranch. My son really enjoys time with everyone at Reading Ranch, and especially loves Ms. Debbi; she is his constant cheer leader! We have gone to both the Frisco and McKinney locations, and both are great!

Our son has been in the program for over year. He is in there 2 times per week (1hr each session). He started out a little behind going into 1st grade and is now halfway through 2nd. His reading is now beyond grade level and he is doing excellent in math. His overall grades are in the high 90s (worst subject was 96). I am confident to say that without Gideon we would still be playing a bit of "catch-up." My personal opinion...you do have to put the work in at home. If you are expecting a "miracle" after a month or two, I honestly do not think any learning center will fit the bill. It takes time and dedication to make sure our son is doing the work at home and prepared for the next challenge at class. (Yes we do trade Gideon homework for electronics time!) Again, this is a great center and I would highly recommend.

We are very pleased to join this center although we have to commute from Plano but it's worth it. My daughter started to be independent and can solve the problems in math by herself, her writing has improved as well as the sounds! Aarti, I haven't met you yet but my husband and I very grateful to you and to your teachers, please take her sister Aya too!!! I have tried kumon (multiple centers in Plano) before and was complete failure. Didn't like their curriculum, neither the way of teaching. The experience was terrible for the amount of money you pay. My daughter will be there for 5-10 minutes with many other kids per teacher without consistency or care about student progression and then will send her home with meaningless homeworks. So far we LOVE Gideon (although you have to be committed for the tremendous amount of work at home) so far we don't regret it!

I'm an early childhood educator and have taught lower elementary and Headstart for for 8 years…read more Before I was an educator I was in private childcare for 7. I now present to educators across TX on social emotional skills in children. I'm saying this for two reasons- one, because my career has mad me EXTREMELY picky about who I trust my child with. And two- because I have witnessed good and bad teachers and facilities both as an educator AND a mom. My son goes to Goddard full time in the summer. I've been incredibly impressed by the staff's ability to be both professional and personable at the same time. My son has ADHD, along with a few gross motor delays- and can be a handful. His teachers understand what is developmentally appropriate behavior, and how to support his growth moving forward. This has been rare for us and is appreciated in educators working with my son. He is constantly engaged and happy when I pick him up. The teachers are always monitoring and engaged with the children when I arrive. And their photos are a treat! I'm not sure what the enrollment is like in the school year, but for my son, his class numbers seem really low. I am thankful to have found a place I trust my son to be in. I trust that he is not only physically cared for- but EMOTIONALLY as well. Thank you for loving my baby! Our family of forever grateful to you all!

After calling over a dozen daycares in the area, only two stood out as worthy of a visit. Our visit at the first daycare was fine enough, but after we left the second daycare - The Goddard School - I immediately drove home and filled out the paperwork to get my still-in-utero son enrolled. I haven't had a single regret since my son started as a 3-month-old. He's 22 months now and can count to 10, name basic shapes and colors, and make sounds for countless animals. He cleans up like a champ and says please and thank you. He loves books and spends most of his time at home reading. I won't give Goddard ALL the credit - I do some things as his parent, of course - but it's a relief knowing that they're teaching him the same concepts and reenforcing the manners we practice at home. Like many daycares nowadays, they do send out updates on each child's day via an app, so at the end of the day I can see what my son ate, how long he napped, when his diaper was changed, the activities he participated in, and a few photos of what he did. And I love that they teach community involvement by participating in programs such as Fill The Bus and the ACO Food Drive. They also have monthly Parents' Night Out and frequent cookouts and festivals. The school is always clean and one of the two owners are on-site the entire time the school is open. I recommend them to everyone!
