He walked us through the process, the benefits of solar and what set up makes most sense for us. He also was able to get us great pricing which was almost 10% lower than other estimates. Paperwork and payment was a breeze! Once the permit was approved (took about 5 weeks after signing the agreement), they came and installed the panels in a few days which was impressive (probably lucked out with availability). The install crew (was literally an army! about 8-9 guys) came promptly at 7:45AM (15 minutes early which was great) and was finished by 1PM. The head of the crew walked me through the process and closed out great showing me the app and next steps. Clean up was also fantastic as nothing was left behind. Currently we are waiting for the inspection so we can start banking the unused solar for future use. But still we are generating over 45 kWh daily (on a sunny day) and our average usage is about 30 (we have 2 EV's) so we are about 150% efficiency which is great. Though we can not bank yet, we are still utilizing solar power so our electric bill for the past week will be minimal. All in all, SUNation Energy is extremely professional, very knowledgeable and customer service seems to be a top priority to them. My neighbor and inlaws are now interested in solar and will be referring them to SUNation and Rob Moser - they also have very nice cash incentives for referrals!!!

I still pay for electricity a small amount plus all con Edison tacked on fees( another disgrace company) my monthly bills for the solar panels was quoted $250 but I'm billed $289 per month plus my con ed bill...oh don't worry you will receive a $12,000+ tax credit (federal) to help pay off your $38,000 loan and a state tax credit also for thousands.. yeah we'll I was issued $6000 for federal and still awaiting approval for $3000 for the state , $9,000 total, barely moved the dial on this loan..and they don't lower your monthly cost after paying down your loan as stated by the sales rep. I pay almost an extra $300 that I can not afford in this economy, Believing I would trade out one bill for another, benefitting in the long run, both for me and our environment..I was bamboozled into paying 2 bills for the same production... Let's not talk about how they had to come back to my house and also troubleshoot these solar panels because they did not work for the first couple of months . I'm really thinking I should sue them. I have the rep in my house on recording telling me all these lies.

They were only concerned about making a sale to reach a quota. Not looking out for me and my family. After sitting on the sidelines for six years of investigating solar, I was introduced to Chris Hoffman, President and owner of PREMIER SOLAR SOLUTIONS. I placed a call to Chris only to find out he was on vacation with his family in Phoenix and due back in 7 days. Well......in less than 15 minutes I got a call from Chris Hoffman, (on vacation) where he took 45 minutes of his family vacation time to answer all questions regarding my solar needs. I had a proposal from him the next day. (on vacation) The rest was history. I waited to write my review to gauge how the service and support experience would potentially change after the inital installation and I can say Dan and his team has been just as competent, professional, supportive, etc as the initial consultation. My gripe with the other 'solar guys' is they all sounded like car salesmen focusing on making a deal, get in and get out.....in contrast Dan actually sat and took the time to explain the whole process in great detail from start to finish and didn't end until all questions, comments and concerns were addressed. I will use Built Well Solar for all my solar needs for foreseeable future.

No pressure, just a presentation of the value added by their installation. They use state of the art equipment and did indeed, eliminate my electric bill. I have been trying to reach out to Kamtech and they haven't even bothered to reach out to me. Totally disgraceful! They should compensate me for the 3 months my panels were not producing any energy! Egor has reached out and we managed to come to an acceptable solution. He was very patient and took the time to explain certain issues that I was not aware of. Not only that, but they also compensated me towards the cost of my energy utility bill. Thank you very much for taking the time answer my questions and help steer me towards a satisfactory resolution.

The 1-2 days call back did not happen. Emailing to service@kamtechsolar.com is not an option either, no response after 6 months and a repeated attempt one month ago. Called back, 0 customers in queue, the lady remembered our conversation, she spoke to a project mgr and called me back minutes later with a scheduled installer date next week. This gives me some more confidence than what other reviews have provided. As original installer of a Sunpower system, Kamtech should cover labor costs in addition to the lifetime warranty of panels & inverters per agreement. We will see how this works out.
