I needed to get the hinges replaced on a noisy inside door of my house (the joys of being a new homeowner), and I got several responses from contractors across Yelp. Andrei's stood out both because it was the lowest price quote, and he had the best reviews of any other respondent. It seemed a little too good to be true, but I figured it was worth taking a chance. I'm glad I did, because Andrei IS too good to be true, and yet he exists. Excellent communication, punctual, thorough and completely self-sufficient, the hinge replacement process started off great. Then, after expertly replacing the hinges, and even sanding a bit at the base of the door where it caused the door to stick when opening and closing, he checked to see how the door opened and closed - the door was now blissfully quiet, but still stuck, and he identified the door latch and plate as needing to be adjusted. Above and beyond! The door works perfectly now, it's literally like a new door. And because the door was to my mother-in-law's bedroom, having Andrei provide this superlative service scored me a few points with her (well, at least for a few hours, until she found something else to grumble about). He also left the space clean, and was very courteous from start to finish. Extremely professional, paid attention to detail, always on time, kept their word and made my vision come true! I had my basement renovated, some of the things I had done were : added some recessed lighting, painting, flooring in my laundry room, finished my closets, changed all hardware, added a sink, plastering and mounting TVs and my floating Vanity. Oh and I was really blown away when he created the wooden floating shelves I wanted... from SCRATCH! They are absolutely stunning and everyone who's seen them thus far ask me where I bought them!
