Went all last year without a heated pool. Lockinvar will not replace it, only sent parts. I'm convinced that Botto does not know how to fix it. I don't think any one on Long Island can. My neighbor across the street has his installed around the same time. His is running now, but had multiple problems at the beginning I have not heard from Botto this season yet. The company was really great, they sent me a bio and photo of the person who would be coming (which I appreciated for safety and professionalism), and the man who came was super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He also had some great suggestions and input on the project and location in the house, in terms of what's best to save money and simplify all the moving parts--which I really appreciated. Bob from Plumbwell was wonderful! I woke up at 4am to a leaking water heater- a geyser it seemed. I…read moredidn't even know how to turn off my water main. I tried duck taping up the pipe where the water was leaking from. I surrounded it with towels, but nothing could be done till Bob came to the rescue. I called 10 plumbing companies. I left messages at all of them (24 hours they claimed... nope!) I was on the phone with the 11th when Bob called me back and said he could arrive within the hour! He did an amazing job and replaced these leaky bendable type pipes that have been there since I bought my condo with copper ones. He soldered like a champ. He didn't just replace the one that was leaking, he did the other one too. Also- he was very circumspect. Wore a mask (we are living during the Covid 19 era) and I felt safe at the distance and precautions he took. A+ work My home is saved! Bob even recommended I use a fan to help dry up the floor, which I probably wouldn't have thought of. I was able to pay by credit card YAY, (or check if I wanted) because who has cash in an emergency lol.
