I stop at Grand Luxe for an energizing meal before my spending spree begins. Lots of high end stores ranging from Gucci , Versace & Balenciaga. Plus many other brands for what ever your needs are at the moment. Frank hit up Versace and purchased some leopard sweat pants and they are amazing... What a discount and even on sale for added savings.. I won't bore you with everything I bought but I filled my truck bags... SAWGRASS MILLS is the place I come to drop some coin.. They have some name brand retailers along with some lesser-known more boutique style stores. I really enjoy coming here on a Friday or Saturday night and listening to the music at Brimstone. The area is very walkable. Most drivers are courteous when you cross in front of them and they yield to you. In an Ideal World, I think Pembroke Gardens should have an automatic covering for when it is super hot or rainy. That is the downfall of this shopping mecca, several months of the year it is just not fun to come here because of the weather. Parking is another issue. I really wish they would build a parking garage because there is usually a problem finding a parking spot on the weekend. That just puts me and then annoyed state of mind when I'm going to a fun place. Definitely come to Pembroke Gardens when you want a fun and memorable they are night out.

The Shoppes of Monterra Commons is a new mixed use development owned by Diversified Realty Development Company, which is based in Deerfield Beach. Construction began in December 2021 and it looks like they just need to lease a few retail spaces. This development includes over 100,000 square feet of new buildings over 16 acres of land with 700 parking spaces. The development cost over $10 million to complete. In addition to the stores and restaurants, the Shoppes of Monterra also includes a brand new 175-unit Residential Active Adult Community. Current Monterra Commons tenants include a Brightstar Credit Union, Baseball Cards, Culver's, Huey Magoo's, the Learning Experience, First Watch, Crunch Fitness, Oaxaka, and Cali Coffee. Coming soon is Tide Laundry, Gyromama, and Playa Bowls. There is currently empty leasing space for other businesses. I tried out the Cali Coffee and Blueprint Cookies and loved both. I was surprised to see how busy it was here so it is clearly filling a need in the community. It is interesting to see new development come to what I considered a dead end area of Cooper City. It was only a matter of time before this last large parcel of Broward County was developed. Hopefully Cooper City residents are going to like what they put in.

Back in my day I could get a drivers license at age 16 and drive without a licensed driver present with me. I was always an adventurer and explored new places. I love this area of the county. The two financial institutions - Space Coast Credit Union and Wells Fargo have made this Davie plaza home for many years.

They're great additions for families and are very reasonably priced. The parking lot is large, with multiple entrances around the property, so it's easy to access the mall from just about any direction. There is still some construction in one section of the parking lot that seems like it's been there for quite a while. I haven't seen much activity recently, so I'm not sure if the project is still ongoing. Fortunately, it's limited to one area and doesn't really affect the overall shopping experience. The mall itself is a nice size. It's not overwhelmingly large, but it's definitely not small either. Everything is indoors, making it a great place to shop, walk around, or spend a few hours, especially during Florida's hot or rainy weather. Overall, Broward Mall has done a great job modernizing while keeping many of the stores and features that have made it a local favorite for years.

When I worked nearby and the weather was nice, I'd come for lunch and then stroll by the shops.
