It's an OK mall. I wish they had more high end stores (Nordstrom, Nike, under armor, Nine West as examples) and some good shoe stores. I don't like having to go to OC and SD to do gods shopping. Went there over the holidays and the loft and a Sunday dress are gone. Maybe that is the way malls are going but I hope the Promanade mall and area get some more and nicer stores. I really like this mall. It's pretty clean, has a nice wide variety of stores, and it's very family friendly. The outdoor section is probably my favorite and it's always so well kept. The bathrooms are messy sometimes but it is a mall. Food court is decent but I prefer the bigger restaurants outside anyway. It's in a really nice area as well, but parking can be horrible. I'll also add the pedestrians crossing the street don't care at all and won't look to see if you're coming. The layout of this mall is fairly easy to navigate and they have a store for everyone. read more

I don't see why this place has such bad reviews, it's a gorgeous open mall! Yes, there are teeny boppers there, like ANY OTHER mall! Yes, some of the businesses there are a little higher end, but so what? That's what makes this place do well! And yes, some of the associates in different stores are jerks, but rate the store, not the whole mall on it! I know it's lacking a certain taste to the mall and Nordstroms isn't on here, but this is why it's called the Promenade, it's not supposed to be a GIGANTIC mall! They're still growing and adding more stores, so who knows, maybe it will improve, but honestly, it's not that bad. It has a nice feel to it and music wherever you walk, lights on the trees come on at night, it's kind of romantic and pretty. I've had dinner here at the Yardhouse and loved sitting outside and watching people walk by. I love that there's an inside version of it as well, it's rare to find an inside mall in CA. Not to mention, they have Pottery Barn and WIlliam Sonoma! I'm a fan! Give this place some credit, Temecula went from not even having a mall to having one that is growing and getting more upscale everyday, so stop your whining. read more

This mall reminds me a little of a mall in Cleveland called Crocker Park. Crocker has NYC style storefronts, and drive-through streets with street parking. The Promenade is a combo of normal indoor mall, with a section of drive-thru streets with parking, and some outdoor seating areas. It also has a ton of restaurants to choose from. Red Robin, CPK, Broken Yolk, Yardhouse, El Torito, even Karl Strauss, and tons of others. The traffic patterns are really crazy, and even the ring road can be hard to navigate. On a Saturday this place can be impossible, if you are lucky enough to get near the mall because Winchester is just plain crazy all the time. read more

I mean what can I say about this place. It's pretty cool and the only thing popping in Temecula other than Old Town. They pretty much have everything, if you ever had combed through the entire mall. To break it down, there's the mall with all your typical shopping centers, food courts, video games etc. Surrounding the Promenade area you have restaurants like Korean BBQ, Shogun, Marconi grill etc. Also next to the mall is the theater which you can never go wrong. Came by this mall with my husband a little over a week ago while on our little weekend trip. This mall has shops and restaurants both indoor and outdoor. The lights hanging over outside is a nice touch. But this mall in general seem pretty average for the most part. The department stores here include Macy's, JcPenney and Sears. There is no higher end department stores like Nordstrom or Bloomingdale's. There are some restaurants here that include Lucille's and Yardhouse. There is also a food count as well. For the most part, there are quite a good amount of stores here but just thought it was pretty average at best. read more

The Temecula Promenade reminds me of a mix of Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga an hour north of Temecula and maybe North County Mall in Escondido (half hour south) or Parkway Plaza (70 minutes south). There's an indoor mall and part of the mall is also outdoors. That's where the theater steps in. And what reminded me of Victoria Gardens. It was pretty cold outside, but I was wearing four layers so I was okay. I liked the giant Christmas tree in front of the Edwards theater. The exit for the mall -- Winchester Road -- had dreadful traffic all around the mall. I exited the freeway at 5:45, with a half hour to go before we had to meet at the theater. I didn't get out of my car after parking in the lot until 6PM, and I'd estimate the distance from exit to lot was maybe a mile and a half. Mile and a half in 15 minutes time! It was just dreadful. I do like the fact that there's a variety of parking around the mall. I parked on the upper level near the Sears and didn't know there was a parking structure near the theater as well as lots all around the theater as well. There are a lot of parking lots in the ring around the mall, but the access to the mall off of Winchester is just horrible during rush hour. Can't imagine what it's like during the weekend. read more

I love my mall. There are more and more higher end stores moving in and classing up the place. I do still love all of the originals that have good deals like Wet Seal, Charlotte Russe and the multitude of places I can buy a nice pair of pumps at a really nice price like Reflections and Remix. I do have to say that the food court could definitely use a revamp on some of its options. Love Charley's, and Panda but i would like to see a Submarina or some Mexican food PLEASE!! The kiosk.. well you're going to experience trouble with those people no matter what mall you are at, I wouldn't say our Promenade Temecula kiosks are any more aggressive than at any other mall.. just learn to say no and keep walking, if they do cross a line head right on up to Guest Services and write a comment card, they definitely matter and certainly don't go unnoticed. Promenade Temecula has an exorbitant amount of teenage presence, that however has nothing to do with the Mall but more to do with the parents of Temecula, don't allow them to ruin your experience at a great center. Outdoor expansion area has truly inspired a new level of shopping the Promenade Temecula, the palm trees, hanging lights in the evening, the smell of great food from Yard House and Lazy Dog Cafe, the lure of the fireplace down by Macy's women on a cool autumn night, all work together to create an aura of superior shopping. read more

I liked this mall. It had so many cool stores inside. It had that Tokyo store which was amazing. Cool stuff inside. I also ended up at the Sephora inside JC Penny and bought a Marc Jacobs lip gloss for $28. I also went to Charming Charlie and bought a couple of pairs of earrings for $10. They had a wheel you can spin and you get a coupon on the jewelry and earrings. I forgot to check in and take photos. There were sales all over the mall especially JC Penny. I was in shopping mode. It's an indoor mall which was great because it was hot outside. Mall was nice and clean. Plenty of parking around the mall. One side had police department patrolling the parking lot. I liked how there were a lot of eating places within the mall and on the outskirts of the mall. So many places to eat at. A major plus in my book. I would come back. This mall is somewhat upscale, but there is something for everyone! They recently renovated this place so that there is an outdoor part and of course the main part which is indoors. Most stores have expanded while others have been added. It's a super clean mall, with good food nearby, and the theater across the way. Parking is usually hectic, but if you avoid the garages and park near the department stores, you might have better luck. Being that it's the only mall in town, it can get kind of boring, but it works! read more

This review is specifically for guest services. I purchased a train ticket pass for 10 rides and accidentally washed the ticket with my jeans. I brought what remained of it to guest services hoping they would replace it. You could clearly see the numbers on the ticket of how many rides I had left. The girl said they wouldn't replace it. Beware of JTJeweler, one of the kiosks in the mall. I gave them my grandmothers ring to replace 2-3 small diamonds, and without asking me, they told me that the 1 carat main diamond was loose and needed repairing. Number 1, they should have asked me if it was okay to undo the setting. The 1 carat diamond was NOT loose! Anyway, they charged me $70.69 initially to start the work. When the work was done, they sent me a picture of the ring when it was done. It looked great. But, they lost the ring! This was a family heirloom! Worth at least $5000! The owner said not to worry, that they had insurance. They asked me how much did I think the ring was worth. Having no idea, and they asked me off the cuff, I answered, "I don't know, $1200.00?" Teresa, the owner, said, "Oh, no, we're going to ask for much more than that". I have been back to the kiosk several times, and they still haven't paid me. I told them that the ring was worth anywhere from $3000 to $9000. But, it's been almost 5 months, and I've been promised a check every time I talk to them, but no check. Browsed this mall on a whim during a visit to Temecula and found it to be nice, but nothing major. I really liked the unique indoor/outdoor mall mixture they got goin here. The hanging lights outside look very nice and you feel like you're strolling through a nice hipster downtown area. Then you go back inside and remember that, oh yea, you're just at the mall hehe. I was happy to see a few likes like Old Navy, H&M, Charming Charlie's, Francesca's, the Sweet Factory, & Yard House here in one mall. This goes for PACSUN. Me and my friend walked into Pacsun at 2:50 on October 15th and there was a blonde girl in the entrance welcoming people in. She was very passive aggressive and gave us very dirty look throughout our whole shopping time in there. My friend had folded and set down one of the things she was going to buy and the girl comes over to us and snatched it off the table and mumbles "nobody ever puts the f****** clothes back" then she goes back to the entrance and continues to talk to her coworker about us. She wouldn't take us out of her sight. she gave us a face that was very rude and she does not seem like she was even considerate of her customer service. i don't know her name but she was the only blonde girl working at the time. read more

It is what it is. The old Robinson May's store was converted into another Macy's. Two Macy's in one shopping center. What they should have done is had Nordstrom's come in. They need more upscale designers in here! Heck, put in Anthropologie or Off 5th Saks. The good thing though about this place is the ample parking and the amount of sales that go on in most of the stores here. The food court sucks but I don't care because I would never eat mall food. There are many, many restaurants surrounding the mall. I wish it had some better stores like Dillards or a real Guess store. This Review is for the shoe cleaning booth by the food court. Walked pass the booth with my family. One of the employees wanted to clean my new Nike air max shoes and I replied kindly saying no thank you I'm okay. But one of the other employees he was a big dude with long curly hair commented rudely back saying "No your not okay". I wanted to confront and asked why he said that but left it alone since I was with my family. To me as a business stand point your there to promote your product to guests that walk at the mall but then again you have employees representing your product who can't take no for an answer and have rude comments to reply back as guests walk away. To me that isn't good business practices and a bad way to represent there product. the play land is by the far the BEST place to take your toddler if you need them to burn off energy!! not so much good for the pre-teens, but toddler it's perfect because all the structures are perfect for getting their legs working and the cars are very colorful! 2 car slides and a bridge slide is the coolest ever! my son fell asleep before dinner here yesterday after spending 3 hours at the play land haha. highly recommended!! read more

I'm sorry, this is a bit late. Several months ago, I was forced to accompany my wife to the mall; not my favorite thing to do, but my son, about a year and a half at the time, absolutely loves the train they have upstairs. A young lady was running it, I can't remember her name for the life of me, but I remember she had some distinctive piercings...if you work with her, you probably know who I am talking about. We are cruising along, and with no warning, a toddler darts in front of the train from one of the wings. Not only was our conductor alert in a situation where many would be focused on their phones, but her impressive reaction brought the little train to a halt and saved the toddler's life. Slow as it is, t-boning the little guy would have resulted in severe trauma. She escorted the little one to his parents, where she very politely but very sternly chewed them out with a level of proficiency rarely seen outside the military. Without ever raising her voice, breaking tact or bearing, and in a professional manner seldom seen in the young adults of today, she explained to the parents the dangers and hazards that the mall holds for small children and that they should keep theirs much closer. If the parents are honest, they cannot claim she said anything that could be taken as rude or inappropriate, yet she clearly got the point across. A very outstanding employee who should get a raise. If she ever decides it's time to move on, she can message me on yelp, and I will get her trained and in a commercial truck quick-fast and in a hurry. read more

I purchased a chair early September that was not going to be delivered until October , I was fine with that until we stopped by the store to get an update on when the chair would arrive to be told not until December. I asked if I could cancel the order and was told yes . At that time we ordered another chair . Both were paid in full. We didn't receive a refund for the first cancelled order until October ,19 th . We did not get a full refund . The chair was 1429.42 and we got back 1176.12. I reached out the the store manager on multiple occasions to find out why . I took my daughter to the mall today. The shopping was okay, but the bathrooms were GROSS. First, there was a gigantic dead cockroach on right outside the women's restrooms entrance. I have never seen one that big. The restrooms are in the food court area, so do you think I wanted to order food in that general vicinity after seeing that? No!! Second, several of the bathroom stalls had overflowing trash bins in them (women, you know the bins I'm talking about). Third, when it came time to wash my hands, ONE of the soap dispensers had soap in them. One. Are times that rough that they can't provide soap to their patrons? Also, the trash cans next to the sink were overflowing with paper towels. Don't they have staff employed to keep the restrooms sanitary? We usually only come here when it's hot out and we want to go on a walk. They always have the AC on to keep it cool inside the mall. This is the same as your typical mall, but it also have a decent outdoor section too. They have a food court inside as well as restaurants surrounding the outside. They also have an Edwards Theatre outside too. This is 2 levels. They have a train that adults and kids can ride on around the mall. There is also a kids play area. This mall has the same big department stores as all other malls. Nothing fancy here at all. I have eaten at Red Robin a few times and my wife like Nordstrom Rack and Ulta which are in the same lot as the mall. read more

Whenever in town me and my gf take our kids here to the Disney store which they love and then we get some clothes for them at the many locations to see which styles they like at the time and not to mention the different places to eat inside as some Little eaters can be picky I love the Mongolian restaurant tucked away behind the escalator and my gf loves the hot dog on a stick lemonade but perhaps the best thing of all is the kids play area where you can let them run around and the cars are padded to avoid injury and the place is walled off to avoid any little escapees. read more

False advertising when it comes to Easter bunny and Santa Clause visits. They say they're open until 7 but close the gait at 630 and won't let you in. They lose hundreds of dollars doing that too because at least 10 people tried to come to see Easter bunny and they were turned away when we were there. Extremely rude staff too. I used to come all the time when I lived here, it was always fun to go to the mall with the family. There's always something fun to do, lots of activities going on the weekends. Always a show or a sale where they shut the streets down between the movie theater and the mall. The one thing that always bothered me about the mall was the security... I always see there's a car break in at the garages or teenagers breaking windows for fun with BB guns. There's a police station on the second floor but I rarely see them patrol the garages. There's always teenagers smoking in the family bathrooms or doing things they should not be doing like having sex in the family bathrooms. Parents in this area are really loose with their kids because they don't get disciplined enough and don't believe their little perfect angel would do such a thing. Maybe that's the problem too. read more
