This park is so peaceful - I love how you can explore the trees quietly. Even though it's next to a…read morestreet, the trees do a pretty good job at insulating against the noise. Plus, you might see a horse or two (or maybe their poop)! You never know what else you might find - we saw a few human-made enclosures made up of larger branches and bark set up along some of the bigger trees. My toddlers were on a bear hunt and were fascinated by them If you're not into walking on dirt, there's plenty of paved trails around the area as well. Several dog walkers, a few bikers, but mainly nice people who are just enjoying the fresh air. There's also a bathroom and a playground. But with the toddler-led bear hunt, we didn't check the playground out this time. Next time! As for parking - plenty of street parking.

The restrooms are clean which is always a plus for a park. BRCP, has many benches/tables for gatherings close enough to where your kids can play. The playground is pretty large for the older kids. There is a little one for the much smaller children off to the side. What I like about this playground though is the flooring. They have this very cushioned floor instead of wood chips. When our kids trip or fall, they don't get badly hurt and they for sure don't get splinters or wood chips stuck in their shoes. Behind the tables is a basketball court that you can easily see from the tables if in case you're worried about your kids running off to play. It's easy to keep an eye on them from there. Beyond what I've already mentioned, I don't know what else this park has to offer because it's as far as we have gone for play dates or birthdays parties at the park. It's a nice place for kids to play. I only wish parking wasn't so limited.
