This review is 110% positive. I have been a patient of Dr. Gombert's for five years off and on. He is absolutely the most honest, caring and trustworthy dentist I have ever met. I have lived all over the world, and had a lot of dental work done. This guy is by far the best. Every time I have a cleaning at this office my teeth feel incredible. I just had a crown done, and it took two hours from start to finish, with everything done on site. No temporary crown needed, no return visit, no extra time out of my workday. I left this office for a couple of years because of a job change with no dental insurance. I came back and Dr. Gombert reminded me I had a $300 credit remaining on my account from my previous time as a patient there. I had gone to a Groupon dentist for a cleaning and was told I needed some work done. Dr. Gombert took a look and informed me that most of that work was not needed. If you are looking for a great dentist, one who is honest and caring, look no further. My son just had his first ever fillings done today. I would not have trusted anyone else to do them. My son has Asperger's Syndrome (he is 15), and it was handled so perfectly by this office. I truly cannot say enough nice things. Great office, great staff, great dentist. Oh, and their price quotes are also accurate, to the penny. No surprise extra charges, nothing unexpected.

My husband and daughter both go here as well. Unfortunately, since I have a rare tooth disease I visit the dentist more than the average person and the amount of bad experiences I've had with other dentists out weigh the good. I've tested out an embarrassing amount of dentists on both the east and west side, but this place is the only one I've never had a single bad experience. Injections are pain free and Dr. Higgs crowns are the only ones left in my mouth (the rest other dentists did and they had to be pulled). He's definitely not a "salesman" and he never tries to burn a hole in my pocket. All the procedures are necessary and he's been direct several times if I've asked for something that might not be wise. But really, the no pain is where he stands above the rest. As for the staff I'm not sure who does hiring, but they obviously have a good read on people. I've never worked with anyone there I didn't like or felt was "off" or rude. The front desk knows their billing (many offices don't) and the hygienists are some of the sweetest gals I've met in the medical field. I really can't say enough about this office and the staff, it's been an easy ride for me and I'll continue to work with them in the future.

We booked a new patient exam and cleaning, completed all the paperwork online, and then the morning of the appointment received a text saying our 8:00 a.m. appointment was canceled. They blamed it on a known system glitch that they apparently haven't fixed yet and the next available appointment wasn't for another month. The entire point of online booking is convenience for patients. If the office is aware of an ongoing issue but hasn't resolved it, the inconvenience falls entirely on the patient, turning what should be a simple process into a hassle. This completely defeats the purpose of online booking and made for a very poor first impression. If you need a reliable, dependable scheduling system because your time matters, you should avoid this office.
