Having paid $8,500 for my hearing aids less than two years ago, and having previously received…read morewonderful service with Connect Hearing at Yonge & Davisville, and needing ear care today at my physicians suggestion I called and was informed that they would charge essentially $100 to help rectify and issue with my ears. The young woman said it was standard. It was not in the past. I would suggest checking out other hearing aid companies as the facts are all of these companies are abusers of seniors who have little choice because of aging. Ask questions about after care. I am extremely disappointed and now wish I had gone to Hearing Life. They seem more user friendly.

I am very disappointed with Hearing Solutions' dishonesty. All they want to do is sell new hearing…read moreaids. I would not recommend them. I needed my mother's hearing aid adjusted since she is unable to travel to her original purchase store. She is almost 90 years old and frail. I asked Hearing Solutions if they would do a hearing test and adjust her hearing aid even though I did not purchase the hearing aid from them. I was willing to pay for this service. They said no problem. I transferred her records. During the hearing test the technician asked us a numerous times if we wanted to purchase new hearing aids for the sale price of $6,000. I explained numerous times that I was not interested since hers still worked. I just wanted it adjusted as I stated when I made the original inquires. She emphatically stated there was no charge for the hearing test and adjustments. Again I offered to pay for her time. I asked about another modification to help her with the telephone. There would be a charge and I agreed to pay for this. At the end of our visit the technician said she would call us back when she was ready to adjust the hearing aid and make the modification. She never called back. I left two or three messages but they were never returned. I even visited the store and still no one returned my calls. Now a year has passed and I almost forgot about the incident. Last week I received a call from Hearing Solutions stating that my mother was due for her yearly hearing test. I asked if it was a joke and explained they never returned last year's calls. Why would I want to deal with their company? The receptionist was not at all disturbed by this. She remembered my mother and said 'you never purchased any hearing aids from us'. My mother's hearing is much worse now and she is barely able to have a conversation with me. I would have been happy to pay them as I stated numerous times, and had they adjusted the hearing aid, my mother might be able to hear. I guess all my mother is to them is an opportunity for a hearing aid sale.

I requested the receptionist. She, somehow, understood my agony and discomfort. She asked me to wait if doctor has sometime for me. Eventually, Doctor got me in. Wax problem was so intense that Dr. David took his time and kept working on to resolve the wax problem in a very professional manner. He showed me the inner state of my ear on monitor. It was all new to me to learn the care of my ears. Later he tested my hearing as well. Before I came to the clinic,I couldn't hear any outer noise, even start of my engine starting..... and now, it was so much noise. I can hear everything any thing. It is amassing. I personally recommend everyone who has hearing problem to reach out the clinic and get very professional help. I found the whole clinic staff is highly professional.
