A completely different experience. Please please price shop as they are not offering anything more than other audiologists, just extremely high prices. Contacted Toronto Audiology because I had a constant hissing in my ear and my doctor said it may be…read moresome wax build up and it should go away. It was a few weeks later and the issue was still there, very irritating. I arrived and was greeted in a very friendly atmosphere. The Audiologist checked my ear with the equipment and it showed a blockage of wax way up high. It required irrigation which did not hurt just a bit of flushing. I was very relieved when I seen the small particles come out into the water. My ears were rechecked to see if the levels were balanced and everything was back to normal. Thank you Lauren and Colleen! We took my daughter to Union Hearing when she was almost 4yrs old. Nick and Chris were both great and explaind all they could about what was happening with my daughters hearing. They are very kid friendly, and work closely with everyone involved. I went from being a worried and upset parent to feeling great that there was a company like this with these two guys out there for my child and to help her hear again. She has been going to Union Hearing for her whole life and gets treated like family. Once a year Nick and Chris also held a fundraiser charity event to help kids who were less fortunate and could not afford hearing aids. They were givng these kids a chance to hear for the first time. Now my daughter is 24, College graduate and Manager at local Bakery in Pickering. She has plans to get married at the end of this year. This review is for the Women's College Hospital Family Practice Health Center, which is located…read moreacross the street from Women's College Hospital. FInding a family doctor is hard, so when I moved downtown 10 years ago, I discovered that I couldn't find a family doctor, but I could be assigned to a Nurse Practitioner at WCH Family Practice. For those reluctant to opt for a Nurse Practitioner, I can tell you from my experience, it is better than a family doctor. Anything they can handle on their own is done quickly because you can see them sooner than the overbooked doctors, and when there is something they can't handle, it is referred to a doctor in the clinic or a specialist, so it is the best of both worlds. My Nurse practitioner retired last year and I ended up becoming a patient of one of the doctors in the clinic, and while she is a great doctor, WCH is a teaching hospital, so she is only in the clinic twice a week, so appointments are hard to get. However, WCH family practice offers urgent care appointments in the evenings, so if a doctor can't see you that day, you can see one in the evening, instead of going to a walk in clinic or emergency. The clinic is very accessible, something I appreciated after my knee surgery.
