Contacted Toronto Audiology because I had a constant hissing in my ear and my doctor said it may be…read moresome wax build up and it should go away. It was a few weeks later and the issue was still there, very irritating. I arrived and was greeted in a very friendly atmosphere. The Audiologist checked my ear with the equipment and it showed a blockage of wax way up high. It required irrigation which did not hurt just a bit of flushing. I was very relieved when I seen the small particles come out into the water. My ears were rechecked to see if the levels were balanced and everything was back to normal. Thank you Lauren and Colleen! We took my daughter to Union Hearing when she was almost 4yrs old. Nick and Chris were both great and explaind all they could about what was happening with my daughters hearing. They are very kid friendly, and work closely with everyone involved. I went from being a worried and upset parent to feeling great that there was a company like this with these two guys out there for my child and to help her hear again. She has been going to Union Hearing for her whole life and gets treated like family. Once a year Nick and Chris also held a fundraiser charity event to help kids who were less fortunate and could not afford hearing aids. They were givng these kids a chance to hear for the first time. Now my daughter is 24, College graduate and Manager at local Bakery in Pickering. She has plans to get married at the end of this year. If it wasn't for Nick and Chris and Union Hearing in the beginning, I don't know what would have happend or where she would have been today.
