Matthew Weaver is a very knowledgeable individual. He not only has an incredible amount of professional experience; but, his background is directly in the project management realm. I had several requirements prior to signing up for a class: 1) a live, in-person class very relevant to the material 2) instructor that had a deep grasp of the subject area and experience 3) reasonable cost, as I was paying out of my pocket; and 4) a close class location First off, Matthew and his staff were very responsive to my above requirements. Unfortunately for me, I live in a location that does not have a high demand at present for bringing Project Weavers to my backyard. So I had flexibility in multiple locations, which was personally challenging and made me more of a needy customer. Luckily, they had classes scheduled in various locations for the time frame I desired. Matthew is a small business owner. He has to set priorities, as he is fully engaged with his company. So, if your inquiries, like mine, require a bit of his time, he WILL get back to you. He just might be teaching a class at that precise moment. I prefer the smaller companies, in general. To me they are more customer service focused. Matthew's policies set him apart from the rest! I explained to him my situation in trying to find a suitable location with low cost all the way around (travel and hotel) and a great instructor. I felt that my class, which was small and very interactive, met all of my requirements. Matthew ended up teaching it. So I had the opportunity to meet him in person as well. I believe the course gave me an excellent baseline to charge forward in project management. Due to a very full schedule directly after the course, I have not had the opportunity to fully study and sit for the exam. But it is in my plan. Matthew is so committed to his company and his customers in every aspect. He wants you to be successful. The opportunities are available after the course for extra study sessions, review of your PMI application, questions, etc. I felt this was a solid investment. read more

When looking for a PMP Exam Prep class, I signed up for a Project Weaver's class because I was looking for: 1) a class with a live instructor; 2) an experienced instructor with a significant amount of project management experience; and 3) a class based on courseware that uses American English (not from India). The class I took in Rochester, NY exceeded my expectations on each of those criteria, but it also showed me how important it is to have an instructor who is intimately familiar with the PMP exam, and that is definitely true of the Project Weaver instructors. The course content is focused on what you need to pass the exam, but also includes interesting group discussions that significantly help the learning process. I looked for a PMP Exam Prep class that was more than just a guarantee to pass the test. Matthew Weaver really puts in the time to make sure that his students are prepared for the class and the right tools to be successful. Matthew spent time speaking with me prior to the class to understand what I was looking for in the PMP Exam Prep class and offered recommendations for me so that I can be successful during the class. It is an online class so he also informed me that I could sit in on other classes outside of the classes I signed up for if I needed more time to with the material. I was also happy to see that the onsite class is identical to the online class. I feel I will not be missing any data because I am doing the online class. Matthew Weaver and his staff are amazing. In working with the Project Weaver Staff they helped me gain the knowledge and skills necessary to pass the PMP examination. They worked with me both during class session and provided additional after hours support as well. Project Weavers provided a plethora of questions and testing materials and even allowed me to participate in multiple class sessions other than that one I was assigned to for additional practice. Another huge factor here was the price, the price to work with Matthew and his staff was SIGNIFICANTLY less than other companies in the industry. Great service and care and with a highly affordable cost as well. That sounds like a great company in my book and that's exactly what they are is a great company.
