I truly can't say enough good things about KinderCare at City Ridge in NW Washington, DC. My son…read morestarted here at 2 years old, having had very little interaction with people outside of close family and friends. From day one, the center made his transition smooth and welcoming. One of my biggest concerns was his speech delay. When he started in October 2024, he was barely verbal. Now, in July 2025, he's using two-word phrases consistently. KinderCare helped us get connected with speech therapy, and the growth I've seen in him is undeniable. The center itself is always clean, organized, and professional. They offer extras like soccer, water play, and music/phonics lessons that keep my son, Euro, engaged and happy. Every staff member is wonderful, but I want to highlight a few: Nimat, the director, has been so helpful and hands-on. Derryl leads phonics and music classes, which Euro loves. His main teacher, Miss Beverly, is amazing--very patient and hands-on. Ms. Lita and Mr. Marcus are also favorites of my son; he really enjoys their energy and support. The center's communication is top-tier. The app they use makes it easy for me to stay updated with pictures, videos, and daily reports. Meals and snacks are provided, along with diapers and wipes, which is super convenient. We're so happy with the care and progress Euro has made that we've decided to keep him enrolled for the next learning level. I definitely recommend KinderCare at City Ridge to any parent looking for a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for their little one.

I would recommend Lily Pad at Metro Park to anyone looking for a reliable, nurturing, licensed daycare center!

He never cried when I dropped him off and when it was pick up time; he wanted to stick around for more. They have made pre-k such a positive and enriching experience for our son. Their team of teachers really go above and beyond! With all of their patience, creativity, and love, our son has achieved so much since enrolling in Lilypad. Because they care so much about their students, they have directed them to trust themselves in all that they do and to become all that they dream. We can't thank them enough. Their big heart and burning desire to make the world a better place one kid at a time is extraordinary. Watching our preschooler grow and develop in their hands is a great joy!

I just completed a three day Introductory to Grants Management and Cooperative Agreements training…read more This training was in no way introductory. The trainer had to speed through the content and was even asked to slow down multiple times. This training needs to be broken into two classes with one actually having the introductory information and one with the rest. The trainer had to read to us from the manual and she read the slides to us. She did the best she could with the training materials provided to her. I would only recommend this course to someone who has experience in grants and cooperative agreements. Even the trainer was asking the participants how they usually run their grants and the different functions. Some of the participants were very well versed, meaning they were probably taking this as part of obtaining a certificate. Very unfortunate.

This is for the Bright Horizon Harbor at Station Place (near Union Station)…read more We have two kids enrolled since they were both 4 months old and our experience has been an absolute delight. The staff and administration are incredibly organized and provide a great deal of communication, everything from monthly and weekly lesson plans, an up-to-date daily photos and captions, and great verbal updates each day when we pick up our babies. I couldn't be more pleased with the educational track. They begin each new transition with a one-one meeting to discuss schedules, teaching philosophy, and provide an opportunity for parents to provide input. Throughout the child's stay, they provide detailed input of his/her progress through a true educational and physical standards -- showing milestones and next steps. I am certain that a large reason for my oldest was preparation and familiarity with PreK was from his days at the Harbor. Lastly, but just as important, I have observed that the leadership is incredibly supportive of their staff -- which is why we have had such a low turnover of teachers. At the same time, we have seen several teachers grow into expanded roles. We are so pleased that it's such a great family environment at The Harbor.

Words cant express how much I appreciate James as my driving instructor. I have had plenty of…read moredifferent driving instructors and by far he was the best by a landslide. He comes overly prepared with cones for parking, print outs and even toy cars to show demonstrations. He is an outstanding and patient communicator and never showed any level of disrespect like countless other driving instructors I had. He clearly and eloquently articulates every aspect of driving and answers dozens of questions that I asked while driving. He even went out of his way to pick me up from a destination closer to my house, which I can't recall any other instructor doing. This man even took the time out to write extensive notes about my driving session today to show how I can improve (once again no other driving instructor did). I strongly recommend him for someone who needs a patient, kind and knowledgeable driving instructor.

On September 7, 2021 I took my road test, with Ethio Star Driving School(Ethio Star) conducting it. Ethio Star has mastered the art of robbery without a gun. I advise you-all not to take your road test with them. They are failing people intentionally just to make more money off of you. I parked a few inches away from what would be the curb, and was told that it wasn't good enough. Mr. Eyob would eventually tell me that the road test was over because my parking didn't meet his standards. I was puzzled because to my knowledge the only deduction that'll end the test is failing to stop at a Stop sign or bumping one of the cones while attempting to park. I would learn later that they aren't in compliance with the DMV score deduction. Ethio Star deducts 80% of your score for failing to park . Furthermore, he would tell me that I can take the test again for $120. Well, I took the test again yesterday, but with CAS Driving school and passed. They were cordial. I recommend that anyone seeking to take a road test please contact CAS driving School LLC 202-636-1049 or contact@casdriving.com. The DMV need to sever their ties with Ethio Star immediately. If you don't attend their school, they will fail you

I understand that it's a small business and that a hiccup back in the summer of 2024 had delayed all retro orders, but what I don't like is that they gave several dates of delivery of my completed shoes, only for them to drop the ball each time. Their last response was through a DM from March of 2025. I've been trying to reach out to them since then, but still no response. I would either want my completed product that I paid over $150 for the service on or my money back plus the cost of my sneakers. They need to spend less time posting shorts everyday on Social Media and more time on their customer service follow ups and providing a service we spend so much money on. They over promise and under deliver. I am very close to filing a lawsuit as this is theft.
