About a year ago I was here on Yelp, trying to find a good gymnastics class for my daughter…read moreIsabella. I did a typical search for "gymnastics near me" and came across "Mosaic Gymnastics". I didn't really know what to expect, so I thought that we could just try it out for a couple of classes and see if she liked it. From the first day I was really impressed. Tatiana is a really great coach, who is very knowledgeable, and works very well with the girls. She is also very good about giving on the spot corrections, which tells me she is paying attention to the girls, and she's making sure they are doing the right technique. My daughter has taken classes here for a year now, and she really loves it. I would highly recommend to anyone.

The gym is always kept clean and well-maintained. At first glance, the carpet might not look particularly special, but it's actually one of the best I've ever seen. After experiencing so many gymnastics carpets at competitions across the country, I can confidently say the one here is superb. It's soft, springy, and helps protect knees and joints, which is so important for young athletes. Coaches keep the carpet fresh and odor-free--something you won't find in most gyms Coach Tatiana is an exceptional coach who truly understands what it means to develop athletes. She is tough in all the right ways, teaching kids the value of hard work, focus, and self-discipline. My daughter has learned not only skills in the gym but also life lessons about handling both failure and success--because success can sometimes be harder for kids to navigate than failure. Along the way, we've made mistakes, learned from them, and grown stronger together. That resilience is exactly what Mosaic instills. Coach Hyejin is another incredible asset to the club. She may be young, but she is highly experienced and has a gift for motivating kids. She is also a true master of choreography. She has a magic touch in creating routines that perfectly match each athlete's music, personality, and capabilities, making every performance shine. Another thing that makes Mosaic special is the strong community among the girls. They train hard together, cheer each other on at competitions, and form genuine friendships outside of school. The older girls are fantastic role models for the younger ones, and I feel grateful that my daughter is surrounded by such a positive and supportive group of peers. On top of all this, Coach Tatiana works hard to keep the cost affordable for families, which is rare in such a competitive sport. If you're looking for a gymnastics program where your child will grow not just as an athlete but also as a confident, disciplined, and resilient individual--with amazing coaches and teammates--Mosaic Gymnastics is the place to be.

Not to be daunted by the crappy neighborhood, I selected this center and went along my happy way. When I arrived, I was actually invited to take the test ahead of time so I had a little time to survey the surroundings. They do provide lockers that you can put your personal belongings in since you're not supposed to take anything into the test. However, amazingly enough, they let you walk around during breaks so I guess if you really wanted to be a slick betty, you can go for your answer sheet you stashed in your locker under the guise of getting a piece of chewing gum. But you wouldn't do that, right? The testing booths offer a computer with your exam pulled up, a host of cameras to watch your every move (so if you're a picker, make sure it counts and you get a big booger on your finger to flick at the screen), and some ear muffs. I actually had to use them since the girl next to me had some stomach issues (I guess she was nervous?) and actually farted a couple of times. To the Indian girl taking the CPA exam, did you think no one could hear that $hit? I made sure I wiped my ears clean with baby wipes upon leaving the place. They did print my results immediately and provided it to me on the spot with a raised water mark in case folks wanted to challenge my PMPness. Would I do it again? Maybe if I was sadistic enough to take another certification exam. But not bloody likely.

Whenever I needed help or had questions, he made me feel like I was bothering him rather than actually trying to learn. His attitude made the whole experience frustrating and uncomfortable. I expected a tutor who would be patient, understanding, and willing to explain things clearly, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Instead, he often came across as dismissive and unnecessarily harsh. I don't think students should have to feel uncomfortable asking questions, especially when the whole point of tutoring is to help them improve. Overall, I found Mr. Williams to be very unprofessional, and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone looking for a supportive and helpful tutor.

This score was a massive 300-point improvement from my PSAT that I took the year before. Initially, Jen's class helped me to familiarize myself and solve the different types of reading, grammar, and math questions, giving me the initial bump to the 1450 range on a practice test. Then, she taught me to be more vigilant regarding the more deceptive questions, ultimately allowing me to get consistent scores in the mid to high 1500s on the College Board practice SATs. Throughout the process, Jen was very accommodating and answered all of my and my parent's questions about the DSAT. I highly recommend this class to students at all levels looking to improve their scores and can't thank Jen enough for my improvement.
