It wasn't something that I sought out. So I left an honest review of my experience. I completely agree with other contractors being licensed and having horrible reviews. Your reviews looked great, which is why I called you in the first place. Great craftsmanship/ reviews or not, a homeowner is still liable if someone on the job gets injured and that could have potential to ruin someone's life in a lawsuit. It Has nothing to do with the quality of work but just liability in general. The only thing that was questionable is how long you've been in business and are just now getting your license. That next Saturday his guys did demo, gate door fix (our last landscaper did a shoddy job that Albert fixed for me), dirt and rock haul off, grading. From the initial installation, there were highly visible seams running through the center of my lawn. They were noticeable immediately after installation and were not something that developed over time. The original project manager acknowledged that the seams were unacceptable, but throughout the project he rarely monitored the work being performed and was often unresponsive for weeks at a time. He sent crews out twice to address the seams, but after both visits they looked essentially the same. Before the issue was resolved, he left the company. The Director of Sales then became involved. Unlike my previous experience, he was responsive, came to my property, agreed the seams still looked unacceptable, and sent another crew out. The edging and finishing details were eventually completed, but despite multiple repair attempts by several crews, the prominent seams remain. The most frustrating part of this experience has been being told this is now considered a warranty issue, even though the seams were present from the day the turf was installed. In my view, this is an installation quality issue that was never fully corrected. This is not my first artificial turf installation. I've had turf installed at another home, and the seams were virtually invisible from normal viewing distances. That experience showed me what a professional installation should look like, and unfortunately this one falls well short of that standard. I appreciate that the Director of Sales made an effort to address my concerns, but after multiple repair attempts the end result is still not what I paid for. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Southern Turf Co. and would encourage others to look at other companies before making a decision.
